Dr. Pyke was recommended to me by a friend when my dentist of twenty years retired. I was nervous about starting with a new dentist. At my first appointment though, I was completely confident that I had made the best choice with John Pyke Dentistry. Dr. Pyke has a very professional yet personable manner. He does a thorough exam and takes a reasonable approach. The staff members are all courteous and friendly. Lois is a great hygienist. The office is clean and all COVID safeguards are in place. They refused to make an appointment even though my teeth hurt really bad due to losing my fillings and I might need root canal and the pain is giving me migraine and i can barely eat.

I had a "problematic" tooth for which I was referred to Dr Pyke, and to establish care. The office staff was gracious and professional as was Dr. Pyke. Dr. Pyke DDS had reviewed all of my records prior to the appointment and took great care in evaluating the tooth, and other dentition. Dr. Pyke's explanations were thorough and very helpful. We established a plan and I felt greatly relieved to have found an outstanding dentist (referred to me by an exceptional periodondist, Dr. Sazima, DDS.

I grew up in the "olden days" when a trip to the dentist meant worry and pain. I have to say that going to Dr. Pyke for the last 15 years I have finally learned to relax and appreciate the work that he and his staff do . . . with NO worry and/or pain.

Dr. Pyke & his staff are the best medical professionals I've ever dealt with. Over the past 6-7 years I've never seen an instance of hesitation about doing the right & correct thing for me and my family.

Been going for about 3 years now and absolutely love Dr. Pyke and all of the staff. Lois does our cleanings and is both thorough and gentle. Even though they're not a 'pediatric' dentist, they do awesome with our kids and let us bring the kids in to see the office before they had their first appointment so they would be comfortable. Very age appropriate for the girls, making them feel comfortable with the care and involving them in whatever they are doing. Dr. Pyke and his team are the best! I couldn’t recommend anyone more highly. After my long-time wonderful dentist retired, I tried a couple of different dentists. I couldn’t find the same level of comfort I had before. When one of those other dentists told me I needed several crowns when I wasn’t having any issues, I decided to try Dr. Pyke. As soon as I got there I felt comfortable. I talked with Dr. Pyke and Lois, my terrific hygienist, extensively and had a complete exam and cleaning. He didn’t see any need for crowns —as I suspected. The photographs in my file are an important part of my dental history and the new dentist I am going to will need them to evaluate my overall dental health properly.
