Dr Reynolds is a wonderful doc. He doesn’t jump directly to surgery as a solution to everything. He listens and explains anything you might not understand. I have seen him for both a shoulder injury and knee issues. I highly recommend him.

Dr Reynolds is great. He operated on my torn rotator cuff 3 years ago and I have not experienced any problems. This visit was to check pain in my knee which is arthritis.

The best orthopedic doctor in Tennessee! Shattered my collar bone. The scar is hardly visible .. The recovery was.awrsome. Next surgery was knee replacement surgery. Absolutely the best surgeon in Knoxville. His pre op for the knee and after with rehabilitation .I am 68 and have RA .I would not trust anybody but him..

Like most Doctors now days, He wasn't very helpful. I've been in major pain for over 6 months and I'm convinced something is still wrong with my shoulder.

I am a fan of Dr. Reynolds approach to try all options before surgery. My knee has flared and he gave me a cortisone injection. He used at my request freezing spray and I had no pain with the injection! He gets 5 stars in my book!

Appointment very easy and didn't have to wait for xrays! Everyone very professional. Hated to find out I'd have to have surgery but feel like I will be in good hands. Dr Reynolds explained what he saw on xrays and what surgery will be. Very happy I got it done!

I consulted with Dr Reynolds this week about a shoulder injury. Dr Reynolds explained my diagnosis well and great advise moving forward. Great attitude as well as his staff . Good people, it leaves me with no worries about surgery. I highly recommend Tennessee Orthopedic Clinics.

Couldn’t say enough great things! Only nightmare stories about shoulder surgery but the care and expertise I got with TOC and Dr. Reynolds made this the easiest orthopedic procedure I’ve had!

Follow up knee. A year later, the review simply tells a great story of living with a new knee. The best compliment is that I rarely think about my knee nor do I remember or think about the pain I used to live with.

Dr. Reynolds was great! He was really nice and listened to my concerns. I barely had any wait time at the office!

Dr Reynolds is seeing me for a recurrent shoulder issue and is thorough and answers all my questions then sets out a care plan that I feel confident will relieve my pain!!

I was impressed with how efficiently the TOC staff worked. I did not have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen and the entire process took less than 20 minutes. Dr. Reynolds was very helpful as well.

I haven’t yet gone through with the surgery; it is in 3 days. I have a dislocated kneecap and a ruptured patella. My entire pre-surgery consultation made me very comfortable with Dr. Reynolds and the TOC team. He didn’t seem rushed in the least. I felt all my concerns were answered satisfactorily and he is very easy to talk to and understand. Though I’m not looking forward to the surgery, I think I’m in very good hands. Dr. Reynolds did a great job of grafting donor tissue to repair my torn bicep! Recovery was well ahead of schedule!

Exceptional staff in office as well as Dr. Reynolds, would highly recommend him to anyone. He performed my knee surgery a few years ago and did an excellent job.very courteous and understanding of patient needs

Dr. Reynolds is a great knee dr to go to but as for me I read his reviews and had amazing reviews 4.9 but I felt like he was in hurry and didn't have time for me. But I will return to him because he really help me and made my knees better.

Our visit was fast and easy. My son broke his collar bone and Dr. Reynolds was not only super knowledgeable, but he was kind and humble and caring. Great bedside manner. Easy to talk to and had time for questions. He was also super kind to his staff which happened to be having computer issues that day. I feel confident he could care well for anyone who needed him.

Most excellent staff and Dr. Reynolds was courteous, friendly, honest, prompt and very informative. After 40+ years as an RN my knee would frequently give me trouble. I had been receiving injections for years with good success. After a minor injury and a meniscus tear that Dr. Reynolds fixed, I was back on my feet. But then it began to limit what I could do, so Dr. Reynolds made the decision to have it replaced easy. He took his time to explain and answer any questions, surgery and recovery were done well. He is a kind and understanding caregiver. I have worked with many physicians in my career and there are very few that deserve 5 stars. I can easily give Dr. Reynolds 5 stars, as well as his very helpful office staff. Thank you

Dr. John Reynolds is the most kind and professional physician. He is very thorough and truly gives attention to his patients. I had medial meniscus surgery three months ago and I am back to full activity of hiking, running and bicycling. The office personnel at Tennessee Orthopaedic Clinic is also top class. I am a 72 year old man who suffered from Osteoarthritis and "football" knees. Dr. Reynolds and his team replaced both my knees over a six month period from July through January. I can honestly say that my most optimistic expectations were exceeded. From preoperative evaluations to post operative followup, every milestone went off without a hitch. Information supplied to me was accurate and truthful. PreOp testing, anesthesia, recovery room, nursing staff, pain management--all excellent. Dr. Reynolds utilizes state of the art, robotically assisted techniques which resulted in uniform results through both of my procedures. I cannot recommend him more highly. Excellent care beginning to end. My rehabilitation was carried out at TOC's Bearden office. Terrific people who worked me hard to attain my goals. Excellent organization. My second experience with Dr Reynolds. Love how he understands those who are interested in getting back to running or cycling.

Dr. Reynolds repaired a major rotor cuff tear in my shoulder. Did an excellent procedure. I could not have had a better experience. I would not hesitate to return to him if needed. I highly recommend Dr. Reynolds for orthopedic services.

Gave complete attention to my issue, and gave me good advice on further treatment.

Everyone was super friendly. I saw the doctor and was scheduled for an MRI and follow up appointment.

Dr Reynolds performed an arthroscopic knee procedure to clean up a small meniscus tear and arthritis. I was able to walk with normal strides without pain and discomfort by the 3rd day. This is the second procedure Dr Reynolds has helped me with, and I highly recommend him to anyone needing help with their shoulders or knees.

I recently had scope of my knee done by Dr. Reynolds - everything went very smoothly and I have experienced a very short recovery time. This isn't my first surgery done by Dr. Reynolds and each of them have been very satisfactory. I highly recommend him for his skill and the capabilities of the staff at Tennessee Orthopedics. ????

He was as good as the other times I have seen him, he is straight forward and gives you an honest diagnosis so that you can move forward with treatment, whatever it may be.

He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable - all the traits you want in your doctor. He answered all my questions and explained all options while taking the time to do so. Can’t say anything about his surgery or post surgery skills. If I do get to that point, I’ll supplement this review.

Very compassionate and detailed. Very attentive to any need and fast service.

I had rotator cuff repair done on May 19, 2021. Prior to surgery, I had an MRI, and following that Dr. Reynolds explained the surgical procedure, and the months of after care. The surgery was quite successful and there were no complications. My only complaint to Dr. Reynolds on my first follow up visit, was that he did not prepare me for the excruciating pain when the nerve block wears off. The pain medication that was prescribed, 7.5mg of hydrocodone, was not able to help that pain. I did speak with him about that problem. Should I ever need shoulder surgery again, I will go back to Dr. Reynolds. I will also ask for stronger pain meds for the first five days after surgery! I will recommend him.

Dr. Reynolds displays quiet confidence that he knows what he is doing and the sense that he cares about his patient. He made an accommodation for me in explaining the procedure because of my hearing problem. Each time I saw him, he remembered to make the accommodation. I recommend him highly for knee surgery and for follow ups.

I HAVE HAD BOTH KNEES REPLACED WITH DR JOHN REYNOLDS. BOTH TIMES HE WAS VERY CARING, PROFESSIONAL, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. ALL STAFF IS WONDDERFUL.

Dr. Reynolds is great we come to him with all our injuries

50 to 60% better after 2days. Better range of motion. More pain in right arm than left.

The staff as well as the doctor are the most efficient and kind people. I highly recommend this doctor and his staff.

We rely on the doctors at TOC for all our orthopedic care. Our family has been pleased with the care we've always received. The Doctors and staff have always been friendly and knowledgeable.

Dr. Reynolds is fantastic. He did a complete shoulder replacement for my husband which had been great. I saw him for back issues and he was very attentive and helpful.

Dr. Reynolds went over the x-rays of my joint replacement the second visit and explained how to tell it was healing well. He has always answered any questions about usage and has been very helpful in filling prescriptions, including those necessary for future dental work. He was proactive about any physical therapy I needed . The clinic is easy to access and the staff is very professional, friendly and helpful setting up appointments. I was also sent reminders for appointments which is great! At 4 months after the surgery my arm has quite a bit of range of motion and I'm beginning 3 lb weights, which I'm very happy with. I would highly recommend Dr. Reynolds for total arm replacement surgery based on my experience.

My experience was great from the time i walked in the office from the time i left.. Dr. Reynolds answered all my questions about my knee pain and explained everything in details. Thanks Dr. Reynolds

He got me in and out of my visit! I have to get an MRI done to see if there is more damage than they can see on the X-ray. He said my elbow seems to be ok, but it still hurts. I’m hopeful that they will get me in to get an MRI soon!
