Dr. John T Roland JR.

Dr. Roland is a man of great skill and great character. Both of my children were born profoundly deaf and required cochlear implant surgery. Trust is important when you hand over your 8 month old infant to a surgical team. Dr. Roland is as trustworthy as they come. He is a leader in his field and is a highly skilled surgeon. I cannot recommend him enough. If I had 10 more children and they were all deaf, I would choose him to be the surgeon every time. He is also a friendly and helpful doctor who cares about his patients and their families.

I had an acoustic acoustic neuroma operation about two years ago. Roland and Golfino performed the operation. I had a stroke during the operation. Roland and Golfino did little follow-up with me. NYU Langone was a horror as a hospital. My face is paralyzed, tremors on my right arm, blurry vision in my right eye, and still walk with a severe limp. Over 4 months in rehab.

The world needs more doctors like Dr. Roland. Amazing doctor, amazing human being! We'd be lost without him.

Dr Roland gave me my hearing back. I had otosclerosis in both of my ears. (not at the same time.) He performed a stapedectomy each time and gave me the gift of hearing once again. He is so easy to talk to, always promptly corresponds back to you via email, and puts you at ease. His stellar reputation speaks for itself. I cant say enough, but thank you!

Dr Roland is an excellent and caring doctor. He operated on my husband in March of 2016 and he did an excellent job.

Dr Roland saved me . I saw him dec 2016 with history of severe tinnitus and sudden hearing loss right ear . I was approved in his study for cochlear implant for single side deafness . The surgery was nothing and the tinnitus is now a thing of the past and I'm hearing BL again . The staff is amazing and I'm so relieved . Thank you dr Roland for helping me .
