Not caring at all. I was waiting like 30 min for him when he finally came to check he spent like 2 min doing regular checks he didn’t explain nothing to me nor give the time to do so. Rescheduled me after 6 months. And my nose is broken I can’t waited 6 months. Like wt*….!

Waited almost a month for an appointment, waited over an hour past my scheduled appointment time to be seen. Saw Dr. Ruth for all of 5 minutes, he was very dismissive of my issue, didn’t even give me a proper exam. And he misdiagnosed my problem. I would never recommend this so called DR. To anyone, ever.

He will make you schedule 2 weeks in advance, wait a whole hour, to just give you a very dismissive 5 minute visit

I have been diagnosed with chronic sinusitis I’ve had headaches everyday since Easter!!!! He won’t spend 3 min with me then out the door rescheduling me this has been 4 trips to him no relief nothing! He postpones me each time then ask u still having headaches then we will see you back after the neurologist which is nov9th he wants to see me again Jan 3rd 22 does he not realize my headaches are coming from my sinus infections and ear infections!!? Office staff was just fine but the doctor himself is rude & arrogant. Plus, if you are getting your ears cleaned, prepare for a lot of pain. I have had to do this multiple times through the years with other doctors and it was never like that. Steer clear.

Takes care of his patients, he explained everything thoroughly & made sure I knew everything about my surgery. He called me the next day after my surgery to follow up & that showed he cared. Overall great doctor.

I was unsure of how to feel prior to my two year old's first appointment. With negative reviews a mother doesn't know what to think. We have currently had a total of four interactions with Dr. Ruth thus far. Each of these visits pertaining to chronic ear infections. Our first visit was the last appointment of the day. Dr. Ruth was great with my two year old. Very quick and to the point with me. I left unsure of how to feel. Second visit, Dr. Ruth yet again was great with my two year old. This was another last appointment of they day. We received results of hearing tests. We were given options as to what we could do to resolve our issues. Each option was given with detail and patience! Third encounter- was morning of our two year old's surgery for ear tubes. Dr. Ruth greeted us with a great manners. My two year old was happy to see him. He carried a smile on his face and made sure to answer any questions. Ahead of time he told us he might not be able to see me after the surgery but that he'd personally call me to discuss results/outcome. Fourth encounter- was in the recovery room. Dr. Ruth went out of his way to meet in person and discuss the upcoming plan for our baby girl. When speaking with others around us on surgery day, I found out that Dr. Ruth helps all throughout Greenview Hospital at most times. For example, He was helping in the emergency room directly after my child's surgery. He still managed to make his way to our side in timely manner. It seems as though this man is Very busy. Sometimes patients need be a little understanding when someone is in such high demand... As stated above, we were unsure of what our outcome would be. Spent less than five minutes with me, refused to go over history of two months worth of ear infections, and tried to blame it on TMJ. Horrible.

Very disappointed with my daughters appointment. Zero bedside manner. Walks in and says "I'm the Dr" no handshake no actual name. Then looks in her ears and says there's fluid. I'm calling in antibiotics. I wasnt going to leave a bad review as I dont like to run people down. But...... We've been waiting for the prescription for 2 days now and still not in. And they say he must have just overlooked it. Amd say they will try to remind him. I can get over the bad bedside manner for a good Dr. But not this guy. My son was having bouts of vertigo that was preventing him from working. His employer wanted an official diagnosis so we made an appointment with this Dr. He looked in his ears and said he was fine. He couldn’t be bothered to answer questions and rushed him out of the room within a few minutes. Many questions left unanswered. I’m sure he is getting a nice paycheck from my insurance plus my 45$ copay for that 5 minutes of nothing. Will be finding a new ENT. Excellent doctor. Straight to the point and gets the job done. Doesn't sugar coat things i like this. Thanks for everything Dr.Ruth.

I'm giving Dr. Ruth a 5 star. Had vocal cord surgery to remove a lesion and polyps. Very successful. Was worried of voice not returning but bam it did the 4th week!

Dr. Ruth is an excellent doctor. He takes his time and explains everything to you. I was fortunate enough to have him do my surgery. I have no more headaches, and I can actually breathe and sleep!! Thanks again Dr. Ruth!

Worst doctor I have been too. Was referred by another doctor to him. First visit I was told my voice box was swollen and give me a list of things I should do. Went back in 2 weeks still no better so just put me on acid reflux medicine and naproxen and sent me on my way. Still no better so went to a different doctor who found out that I have a large nodule on my thyroid and have to get biopsied in a few days. So wouldn’t suggest him to no one.

Wouldn’t look at history, refused to listen, spent less than three minutes with me and blamed my ear infections on TMJ.

Had 2pm appointment and have had 4 other people that arrived after me get called back and the receptionist never said anything. What gives.

Gave us the run around for 3 appointments, never set hearing test, and tried to send to Glasgow for that. Not impressed with his bedside manner or the office staff.

I used to see other doctors in this office, at the advice of my family physician, who have now retired. His staff was very helpful and got me an appointment quickly because someone cancelled. He on the other hand is the worst doctor I have ever had the unfortunate luck of seeing. He told me his diagnoses and "prescription" for my issue before he even did an examination. He then tried to get me to set up an appointment in 2 weeks to talk about it when I made my displeasure known. I am sure everyones experience is different but mine was abysmal and I could not reccomend anyone go to this office. For a doctor to stay with a child in recovery until that child wakes up after surgery and calls on a Saturday to check on said child speaks volumes about that doctor. I was super impressed with Dr. Ruth and appreciated his care for my child.

Dr. Ruth sees my 9 year old daughter and he has been wonderful with her! He explains everything and makes sure to answer all of her concerns
