My experiences with Dr. John Wang and his team were excellent. I had a knee replacement, and can bearly see my scar. I knew that he’d be a most excellent choice for this surgery based on his reviews, his experience and education, and my confidence in him. I appreciate his efforts, and had a good over night in Good Samaritan in WPB.

I couldn’t have had a more successful surgery!! Dr. Wang is extremely talented and proficient in his surgical skills. I had a total knee replacement and was able to walk unassisted after 3 weeks. I did my part and went to PT 3 times a week and after only 4 weeks of PT I have surpassed where I needed to be and am back to my normal flexibility already!! I am over the moon with how Dr. Wang performed the surgery and made me feel very confident in his abilities. I did my research and believe me, it paid off!!! He’s the absolute BEST!!

My father Ben is as good as new and beyond!! He’s back at the gym and is feeling amazing!!! Excellent job by Dr. Wang amd staff!!

So grateful that I found Dr Wang - he did an excellent job on my hip replacement. Just 2 weeks after surgery, I’m walking without a limp or the pain I’ve had for the past three years. Not only does he possess up-to-date technical expertise but the human qualities that improve the overall experience. I did lots of research about the procedure, surgeons, and facilities and I’m so glad it led me to Dr Wang! Enthusiastically recommend.

Dr Wang truly saved my life after a first knee surgery by another doctor became infected. First surgeon did not provide any help and Dr Wang’s diagnosis of a knee infection was immediate. He worked with an Infectious Disease Doctor, took out infected knee, had five weeks of antibiotic blocks in knee and daily infusions until infection was cleared and performed second knee surgery which now a year later is fine. HIGHLY recommend him. Very caring and superior Orthopedic Doctor.

He is an exceptional physician, with a very competent and caring staff, at HSS in W.P.B. He performed a total knee replacement, and 11 weeks post-operation, I am able to walk with virtually no discomfort. Dr. Wang exhibits a calm, confident demeanor. He thoroughly explained to me what to expect with my surgery, and the results nave been exactly as he had anticipated. I now am walking almost two miles a day with no pain, and I have very good range of motion. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Wang is an extraordinary orthopedic surgeon. I am 7 weeks post-surgery after Dr. Wang performed a total knee replacement. I now am able to walk with only minimal pain. He and his staff have been outstanding, and they have effectively communicated the procedure and the post-operation follow-up thoroughly and effectively. I recommend him highly.

Very friendly and experienced physician/surgeon. I had suffered a bad fall and had hip fracture resulting from that. Whereas a surgeon in Jupiter told me I would need a hip replacement, Dr. John Wang said after an MRI, that the bone would heal on its own and I did not need surgery! I was more than relieved and happy that I had gotten a second opinion and went to see Dr. Wang. I believe that half of surgery procedures done on older people in Florida are not needed! Had a full hip replacement 2.5 yrs ago and it was beyond successful. I am not exaggerating when I say I literally walked out of the hospital w/o aid, although slowly and after 2 days and pretty much went back to my normal routine, had to travel out of the country for a serious family emergency w/o issue 7 days after the surgery. I am overweight and we were afraid the recup would be longer and more difficult but I tell you he's a miracle worker. To date, I've had absolutely no issues. As a matter of fact I frequently forget I even had a full hip replacement and the scar has healed nicely to the point of being barely visible! Wonderful, caring doctor

I had total hip replacement five days ago by Dr Wang and I am completely shocked how amazing I feel. Less pain post Op than I was the day before surgery. His expertise , the in depth preparation. By the staff at HSS was incredible . I recommend anyone who is thinking about total hip replacement to see Dr Wang, it will change your life!

Dr Wang is an INCREDIBLY talented surgeon. I came to him in crisis with a badly shattered patella. It was literally in pieces. Dr Wang took me in and confidently put me back together. It has been a very long road, but I couldn't be MORE grateful to him.

I recently had T.H.R. with Dr. Wang. After reviewing and speaking to many surgeons I chose DR. Wang and I am glad I did. Doc Wang listens, he's very understanding of each patient's specific needs and most of all he's a brilliant surgeon! My hip was badly deteriorated and I had leg length discrepancy issues. It is with great pleasure that I highly recommend Dr. John C.Wang for total knee replacement surgery...In March of 2019, I had an initial conference with Dr. Wang regarding possible surgery..My prognosis was severe osteoarthritis in both of my knees, coupled with severely deformed bowed legs..I had a long list of questions/concerns, and Dr. Wang patiently listened and addressed, to my total satisfaction, all of my concerns. My first surgery took place on April 23rd, and was highly successful...Fifteen days after my surgery, I was walking without a cane or walker, and driving my car...Besides total knee replacement, Dr. Wang, by way of a computer, had to make sure that my leg was straight...amazingly successful...little scaring...I felt blessed..On July 9th, Dr. Wang performed a total knee replacement and straightening of my right leg...The end result mirrored my first surgery..A total success...Without question, Dr. Wang has to be considered one of the best surgeons in South Florida..

Excellent. I just saw Dr Wang for my 2 week anterior full hip replacement post-op appointment and everything is great. I am walking mostly with no assistance, just a cane when I’m outside. I am not limping. The incision is healed. I just have some discomfort and tightness around the incision and thigh where the work was done—it’s just 2 weeks! In about 1-2 weeks I should be driving (it’s my right hip) and getting back to my daily laps in the pool. It’s been an excellent surgical experience, and I strongly recommend Dr Wang!

I had been advised that I needed a knee replacement and should do it sooner than later. I decided to seek a second opinion because the pain was only occasionally and has just started a month ago. Doctor Wang' took additional x-rays and advised that I had some arthritis in the knee but certainly did not need a replacement and may never need one. He suggested over the counter meds when pain was present and icing the knee if pain occurred. Dr. Wang's office staff is so efficient. No waiting and most of all he is a wonderful caring doctor. Dr Wang is thorough , caring and an excellent surgeon . Im 57 and recently had both knees replaced and Dr Wang delivered. I believe with time and swelling reduction these procedures will have changed my life and restored a level of physical activity I’ve not enjoyed since my teens. From the initial consultation through to the aftercare, Dr. Wang, his staff and colleagues did a first rate job on my hip replacement surgery. I consulted with 2 other doctors before going ahead with Dr. Wang and having the procedure done by him was an excellent choice.

Dr. Wang performed a difficult hip and femur surgery on my 78 year old husband. My husband had been in a great deal of pain.. He had shattered his femur years ago.. The implanted rod had ruined his hip joint. Dr. Wang replaced the rod and the hip. My husband immediately was free of pain. Other surgeons refused to perform the surgery because of its difficulty.. Dr Wang researched and found a successful alternative and performed that surgery.. He is just the very best..

I attended an information session about developments in anterior approach hip replacement techniques given by Dr. Wang at Bethesda Hospital, and I am so glad that I did. The presentation was information rich and demonstrated great experience, knowledge, and sensitivity to those seeking help. He clearly sees us as more than just the hip or a knee that pains us. I had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Wang after the session and made an appointment to speak with him further a couple of days later. Dr. Wang not only answered all of my questions, but also reviewed the x-rays of my hip with me and explained everything that he saw to me with great clarity and detail. All of the staff members working with him were very friendly, courteous, and efficient. I look forward to Dr. Wang’s replacing my hip in the early spring. I know very well that bedside manner and communication style aren’t the most important characteristics one should look for in a doctor, and especially a surgeon; but I’ve dealt with more than one surgeon in my life who was just short of taciturn. Dr. Wang was extremely thorough when reviewing my bilateral hip pain, when all of the other different physicians of various specialties continued telling me my hip pain was related to lumbar herniation. He and his staff were empathetic and even wheeled me to my car because of my trouble walking. He did a thorough physical exam on me and upon agreement that I wasn’t in need of hip replacement, he referred me to Dr. Steven Licata to get injections to determine if my hip pain was stemming from my back or hips. Today, I spent 3 hours with Dr. Licata, and just as Dr. Lang and I suspected, the pain in my left hip is actually coming from my left hip! After injections, I have no more pain in my left hip! Even if it returns, we know the torn tendons are the cause and Dr. Wang is staying in the loop to help walk me through my options in coordination with Dr. Licata’s staff. Best medical care I’ve received in the 8 years I’ve lived in Florida! It was recommended by our primary that my husband see an orthopedic surgeon. I called to schedule an appointment with Dr. Wang based on a recommendation. I called and left a message providing all our information as well as our contact information. No one returned our call. I called back the next morning, was sent voicemail again no one returned our call. I called the next day and finally reached someone who asked could she call us back and she never called! We've decided not to use Dr Wang

Dr. Wang listened to my concerns. , I asked it maybe my hip was also the problem. he X-rayed both, ( I purposely didn't bring past films so I could have his unbiased opinion. ) He did so. the hip was fine. No existing knee fracture. He diagnosed very severe arthritis. my mother who lived to 94 had crippling arthritis ending in a wheelchair. As a 79-year-old widow blessed with 6 kids, 17 grands, 4 greats, I want to find me again, swim, fence and be a fun Bubby. June 7, ym"H, a new knee await!

I was so lucky to have found this incredible surgeon. He is personable and caring. He runs 10-15 minutes wait time or less to see you, and he takes time to explain the procedure. He did a fabulous job on my anterior hip replacement, and 4 weeks out of surgery I was driving and basically walking without a cane. I never felt so good. The office staff is fair at best, as they seldom return or take patients calls. Hopefully that will be corrected.

Dr. Wang helped with my knee issues. He was extremely patient with me and explained the details of the procedure well. I am extremely detailed oriented person and asked him many questions to which he took time to explain. He has an extremely pleasant demeanor and made me feel at ease. I have completed the surgery for one knee and am intending to have him help me with my other knee as well. I would recommend Dr, Wang to any person who requires assistance with their knee problem

I've had two total knee replacements with Dr. Wang. I was in the hospital only one night each time. I went home the next day, and was walking the day after surgery. I had little to no pain. I took pain medication only when I had therapy. Dr. Wang is well trained, compassionate and I would recommend him to anyone who asks for the best doctor for knees and hips.

Dr. Wang was referred to me by a friend who recently had an ANTERIOR hip replacement. I could not be more satisfied with my entire experience. I walked out of the hospital with minimal pain. Dr. Wang trained at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York city--the best Orthopaedic hospital in the world. I was considering going to HSS for knee replacement surgery, but when I discovered that I could receive the same quality of care here in Boca Raton I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Wang. My experience with Dr. Wang has changed my life! He is compassionate and his skills and demeanor are beyond reproach in a way that answered all questions and concerns, left me completely confident in our choice of action. I recovered from the Mako Robotic Knee Replacement itself very quickly, walking the day of surgery with minimal pain. I highly recommend this surgeon to all!

Dr. Wang was recommended by my son who works with Orthopedic surgeons. I could not be more pleased with Dr. Wang's surgical skills. I am six weeks out and walking normally with no pain and riding my bicycle. Therapy is progressing ahead of schedule. My son was able to witness the surgery and mentioned when most surgeons close, Dr Wang took several more minutes to perfect spacing and movement of the new knee. I play competitive tennis and appreciated the special touch. Great Doc!

I went to Dr. Wang for a revision of a failed hip replacement by Dr. Richard Wiener in North Palm Beach. Dr. Wang was also recommended by a lady I met by chance in a restaurant. She is employed by the state of Florida to rate doctors, and she had taken her son to Dr. Wang for surgery on his foot. I couldn't be more impressed by Dr. Wang. Hip revision was excellent. Dr. Wiener's operation had left me with cobalt poisoning and loss of bone because of metal on metal prosthesis.
