Dr. John Herman Wills

Friendly doctor. Fast paced office. Upon my first visit medical doctor wanted to prescribe depression medication without evaluation. Helpful staff though copay always required. Dr. W2ills treats patients well however in my own experience his staff aren't always prepared.

I have been going to Dr Wills for over 10 years. The staff is horrible and unprofessional . I have expressed this to Dr Wills over the years with no change, therefore it’s time for me to change. Also the office needs an upgrade with updated technology. I’m subjected to go to Urgent care or CVS. As a physician I do like him. It’s just added stress for me to come to the office. Sorry Dr Wills. I’ve had enough.

Dr. Wills and his team are amazing. I have been a patient for over 10 years. He is the best primary care physician in my opinion. I have referred several family members and friends and they all have nothing but great things to say

Dr. Wills has been my Primary Care Physician for over 20 years, my experience with him has been A+. He is always very professional and I wholeheartedly recommend him for overall knowledge and his caring nature!

Not a great 1st time experience, waited 2 hours to be seen by the doctor. 2weeks since visit, results and labs still haven’t been posted on patientfusion. Thought I found a new home close to home, but I sure won’t be going back.

Worst dr. Office in the area. DO NOT GO HERE. The place is very small and run down. Equipment looks dirty and broken. Receptionist are very nonchalant and rude & their turnaround on employees are through the roof. I have even spoken to some of the former employees even they expressed that their reasons for resigning was that he was very unorganized, majority of his patients always left appointments unsatisfied & that his attitude toward his staffing and patient were very nonchalant. The care for his patients is no where near up to par, he shows no concern & will tell you anything to get you in and out.The Doctor is never on time, even if you have an appointment scheduled the wait time is always 1-2 hours. There was even a time that I had a 9am appointment and Dr.wills didn’t even arrive until 11am!!! Whenever I needed a prescription filled, somehow it never makes it to the pharmacy and often time it’s sent to the wrong pharmacy. I have been a patient of Dr. Wills for at least 15 years. I have had nothing but positive experiences at Dr. Wills office. The staff is always pleasant and respectful and very helpful and efficient. I have recommended Dr. Wills to friends and family and they say where has he been all my life. I want to thank Dr. Wills and his staff for always treating my like a king!!! I had a very good experience when I went to Dr. Wills office. I was referred to him from a friend. The staff was pleasant enough and after I filled out my paperwork I was called right in. The wait time was not long. The Doctor was very knowledgeable about my concerns and listened as I explained to him the reason for my visit. The one star feels very generous at this point. I was linked up to Dr. Wills via ZocDoc. The facility is small and run down. There is a clear practice of over booking despite a small waiting room. On my visit 11/2/2021 I waited 45 minutes after my appointment time with 8 other people. The receptionist acted as though she would rather be anywhere else. The appointment itself was ok. Dr. Wills has an old fashioned way of dispensing medical knowledge. For healthy eating, he said “if it’s white it ain’t right.” Everything from the equipment to the posters on the wall felt just as dated. Overall, just meh. Now comes the issues after. The doctor fails to call in the prescription he ordered, as promised, and it takes two office calls to a staff that responds as through they just started and can’t grasp simple requests. Then I get a bill that was described by my insurance provider as deceptive. I was double billed for my yearly physical and the office visit so he could collect a copay on a covered item. In my attempt to correct this I have been met with the same level of cluelessness by the staff. Their billing department is clearly overseas and the local person Dr. Wills submits the information to for billing cannot be reached by phone or email. She doesn’t accept communication. The front desk staff is unwelcoming and worse, unknowledgeable. The facility is small and dated and not adequate to handle the way he books his patients given normal circumstances much less Covid. It took two painful follow up phone calls to get a prescription called in to my pharmacy that was prescribed. Now I am dealing with a deceptive bill where I was double charged for an office visit and physical. Their local person doesn’t accept communication so now i am waiting for their overseas call center to conduct an investigation.

Wife had a cold refused to see her; secretary guessed could be covid, said go to hospital. Doctor is our primary care, filing a complaint soon. Doctor refusing to see sick patients. Wife's cold is about gone seems to be the flu. Wish could of got some medicine; I read about on the mayoclinic website to help "shorten your illness by a day or so and help prevent serious complications". Old ran down office. The staff is rude & he is nice but cheap dirty long winded for now reason & gossip like a female. Staff is under paid. Patients are over charged & waits time too long for their visit. The flow of the office is horrible and out dated. Feels congested when in the office. I've also notice there is no type of sterilization equipment in his lab. Redflag!!

Dr Wills office has lost my sons paper and shot records three times. His front desk staff is rude and on top of that the paperwork that was faxed to him two weeks ago was told to email. I can’t email my sons shot records that is HIPPA VIOLATION BUT HE TRULY HAS GONE DOWN HILL THIS IS THE SECOND TIme this has happened

Dr.John Wills is a great doctor but I wish he would invest in better staff.After having my son as a patient for two years.i am sad that our patient/doctor relationship has ended.The receptionist with the long braids,glasses and afrocentric mask is disgusting.She is rude and ,condescending.I pulled my child's medical records from here today after I dealt with her nonsense.Do NOT go here until they make changes.This place used to be great but this new woman is repulsive. Great Doctor, extremely knowledgeable and attentive...his staff however are a nightmare, they forget things, not friendly at all, in person they appear like zombies... Wish he would get them adequate training

Never ever had a issue. The Dr. Is fantastic and his staff is great!!

I’m not sure if the doctor was having a bad day or if he perceived me to be someone I wasn’t, but he caught a terrible attitude with me and was the most condescending GYN I’ve ever seen. My regular GYN retired and I was looking for a new one. When I told Dr. Wills that I needed to think more about the birth control he was suggesting, he seemed to turn into another person. He seemed personally offended and proceeded to insult me, asking strange questions about my lifestyle habits that weren’t necessary given that all I said was that I wanted to think more before I committed to switching birth controls. He made me feel terrible and wouldn’t stop. I couldn’t trust him anymore after that to be objective and compassionate. A woman is in a very vulnerable position when she’s in that exam room. He let his ego destroy his bedside manner In a matter of seconds simply because I didn’t automatically accept his suggestion. Only see this doctor if you don’t plan to question anything he says.

I would've love to rate this a 5 because Dr. Wills was GREAT. But the process of getting them to charge my insurance was a 4 month headache! Each time I tried to resolve the issue, there was a different excuse on why my insurance wasn't charged. Overall, I had to come out of pocket for something they failed to do. Dr. Wills is a very caring doctor, he takes his time and is always willing to answer any questions. My brother see's him also, and does not always follow the doctors advise. But when I mention him, Dr. Wills always takes the time to give him a call.

Scheduled an appointment as a new patient for 8am on a Friday. The front desk staff took my information over the phone and I received an email confirmation for my scheduled appointment. I showed up at 750am for the appointment and the girl at the front desk looked at me like I was an alien who didnt belong, didnt say a word. When I said I had an 8am appointment she responded that I did not. I showed her the email and she said well sorry hes not here and you're not on the schedule and he wont be here until past 9am. I had really high hopes for this office. The doctor is professional at times but it seems as though something is missing. Maybe it is the office staff?... Who knows, but they are highly unprofessional. Always answer the phone as if you are bothering them. They are unorganized and God forbid that you actually need them to do something, you'd think you asked for their first born child. If you call they'll take a message but won't ever call you back. On the bright side, I have spoke with Dr. Wills on the phone a few times when the receptionist could have answered my question just as easily (hence the two stars). Dr. Wills is a great Dr., very knowledgeable, kind and patient. His staff on the other hand need training. There is a male receptionist that is disrespectful and knows next to nothing about working in a professional environment. He needs to be replaced badly.

The doctor and staff are pleasant. Dr. Wills takes his time, listens and communicates well which I think is outstanding.

Dr. Wills and team are friendly, attentive, and treat you with respect. It is a quaint office. They are flexible with scheduling and readily available. Also, thank you to Nurse Candace who definitely works hard and is sweet as can be!

I've been going to Dr. Wills for 9 years and so does my family. Dr. Wills and the staff are extremely professional and friendly. They always accommodate emergencies and a very flexible schedule for appointments which is extremely important to me. I always get A+ service with the entire staff, best Primary Care Physician ever!!

Dr Wills remind you of the good old days were Doctors take a personal interest in your health and your well being. Before I met Doctor Wills I was thinking of moving out of PG County but because of Dr Wills I will stay in PG County. Doctors like Dr. WILLS are a dying breed. It is not all about quantity but all about quality.

Dr. Wills does his best to show empathy and thorough evaluation of his patients. I believe that he will show his obvious concern for you if you choose him to be your family doctor.

Very condescending, and makes inappropropriate remarks, made me feel bad about my tattoos and rushed me when he was explaining test results over the phone, the first few times I’ve gone to him were ok, but nothing special, feels like it’s all routine and on to the next.

Great office and great Dr: Very accommodating, professional, and personable. Hard to get genuine health perspectives nowadays.

The staff and the doctor are very professional and have great bedside manner. They are capable of handling sick children also. I am very happy with this office.

Dr. Wills has been my Doctor for the last 12 years. Unfortunately I relocated to a different state. Will definitely use him again if I am in the area.

Horrible the Doctor lack the professionalism staff just as bad.
