Dr Winford"s staff is very courteous and helpful. Nice bunch of folks!! Dr Winford is very knowledgable and gives a concise plan for your treatment and care. Has a sweet chair(lol) manner. If I had any more problems I would certainly go back to him. I would recommend him to anyone that needs his expertise!!

Update: Dr. Winford continues to be a great periodontist. He is always attentive as well as his staff. Highly recommend Dr. Winford This is my first time to see Dr. Winford and it was a very pleasant experience. He was personable and down to earth. He explained things about my issue in detail and was even knowledgeable about some other illnesses that I've had going on for quite some time now. Seems to be a very wise man about life in general. From my first phone call the day before my appointment has been great and Amy's genuine concern helped me to realize that Dr. Winford and his staff will be the best fit for me. So glad I made that blind phone call!

Dr Winford and his dental hygienist were excellent. Service was a little slow.

Excellent service and in timely manner.

He was extremely warm, knowledgeable, and presented a plan with confidence. I liked his staff and felt everyone was in tune to what was going on in my mouth. It was so good of him to see me as a favor to Dr. Bradley Harris who felt that Dr. Winford could help me save my ability to chew.

Very good visit as usual. Dr. and entire staff are first rate.

I arrived early and was welcomed to wait in the waiting room. At my appointment time. I was called back. The hygienist was friendly and took xrays. After the cleaning Dr Winford came in to check it out. Everyone was friendly and professional. I will be back.

Everyone was helpful and pleasant as soon as we entered. Dr. Winford took his time and explained the procedure to ensure we were clear on everything.

I had a tooth that was abcess really bad and causing me alot of pain. The dentist pulled it and then began the procedures for an implant. I was given gas during the procedure and only remembered that some pulling and drilling was going on and he was talking very kind through out the time. Dr Winford did my periodontal work yesterday, it was my first time meeting him (my dentist referred me) and his staff. First of all, the staff treated me like royalty, from beginning to end! They made sure I was comfortable and they handled my anxiety well. I loved that Dr Winford AND his surgical assistant were very chatty throughout, a pleasant and welcome distraction for me. Everything from start to finish was a positive experience. Staff treated me like royalty and Dr Winford was amazing. I even enjoyed the chit-chat during my procedure, it was a welcome distraction. The office was pretty low frills, but not low tech. They kept my discomfort and anxiety addressed and managed without doping me up unnecessarily. I highly recommend.

I was referred by my Dentist, I called several times to attempt to make an appointment. Not only did no one answer but I was sent to the after hours services who then told me the doctor doesn't take new patients after hours...IT WAS 10AM on a Wednesday. She said "Sorry, its just what I'm told to tell you." And hung up! Sorry if I cant even get someone to answer the phone during business hours than they aren't getting my business. I have never had a dentist explain the importance of taking care of your teeth and the consequences of not doing so in the depth that he did. I’m so glad to have him as my orthodontist because I definitely know that I am in good hands. Dr. Winford is a fantastic periodontist and yes I have seen many in my life. time. He is certainly the best in the Memphis area. He is highly skilled, old-school, wholesome dentist with no frills and hoopla in his office or his staff. When I relocated to Memphis I needed to find a new dentist and was fortunate to land in the office of Dr. Winford. I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. The waiting room is very warm and comfortable, examining rooms are very clean, the staff is friendly yet very professional The part I'm extremely happy with is that you're in and out.
