Being skilled in skin cancer surgery doesn't make you even remotely competent in the field of infectious disease epidemiology. He's a dermatologist...NOT a scientist. Deliberately spreading medical misinformation (pertaining to numerous conditions and treatments) is inherently unethical and unbecoming behavior of a physician. He should considering sticking to what he knows instead of deliberately engaging in scope creep. Highly unprofessional.

I do like Dr Ward I think he is excellent at what he does, but he should consider other people's time as important as his own. When I make an appointment I don't expect to wait an HOUR or more to see the Doctor. I do understand stuff happens... BUT I have been going to Dr Ward for years and it's Every Time! Well, lets just say that as a physician myself, Dr. Ward and I both know that dermatologists are considered at the bottom of the totem pole where the medical profession is concerned. That said my consult with Dr. Ward demonstrated he is at rock bottom of his class.

I'm currently watching this sorry excuse for a doctor violate his Hippocratic Oath at a TV press conference. It's almost as disgusting as when he told parents they should have their kids lie to teachers about having had COVID.

I have been with Dr Ward and his staff for over a decade. Very competent and professional. He and his staff have always been courteaous and friendly towards me. He has sucessfully diagnosied and treated many medical issues, some of which, were serious and caught early. Five stars all day long.

Dr. Ward is well qualified and knows his stuff. My only honest suggestion is he slow down a little when with patients because patients need a little time to express concerns and issues and not be rushed. I know all doctors are typically overloaded, but it has always been that way as long as I can remember.

I would not recommend anyone to see Dr. Ward. I was startled at my last appointment that neither he nor his staff were following CDC recommendations to wear masks to prevent the spread of the Covid virus. Fortunately for me his patients were all masked. He did put on a mask when I asked him to, but it kept slipping off his face and he proceeded to lecture me on the ineffectiveness of masks. I expected to see a dermatologist, not a Covid conspiracy theorist. In the future I'll be seeing a dermatologist who sticks to dermatology and leaves his politics at home.

I’m seeing poor reviews from people who have never stepped foot in his office. They have never been treated by anyone at his office. That tells me everything about the one leaving the review and nothing about Dr. Ward. He is spreading TRUTH ABOUT COVID. His sources are credible and reliable. Eat the meat, spit out the bones folks. It’s hard to hear but it’s TRUTH. Don’t be fooled. You want to “follow the science,” then hear all sides. You’ll be surprised. Science isn’t one sided whether you want it to be or not. And for the love of God, don’t leave reviews for doctors that haven’t treated you. I’m seeing poor reviews from people who have never stepped foot in his office. I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Dr. Ward. I am immune comprised and not a single person in this office was wearing a mask. I am vaccinated, but I wear a mask and take precautions at the recommendation of my infectious disease doctor because of the likelihood of potentially serious complications with Covid related to my immune status. I didn’t appreciate my health being endangered by the office not taking standard precautions. The office was packed and there wasn’t enough space to socially distance myself. After waiting in the lobby for an hour, I was then placed in a room where I waited another 45 minutes for the doctor to rush in and spend less than 5 minutes with me. I didn’t like his rushed exam and I don’t feel comfortable with the diagnosis, so I am currently waiting on my appointment with a different provider for another opinion. I wish I hadn’t risked my well-being or time to see Dr. Ward. I would have given zero stars if it was an option.

I wanted to research Dr. Ward to see if he seems qualified to treat me if I am diagnosed with COVID-19, or even to give me expert advise about infectious disease. Since he is the self-proclaimed Dr. COVID-19, I expected to find his qualifications, however I see he is a license dermatologist, rather than a licensed infectious disease specialist. Also, under conditions treated, again it is all conditions I would expect a dermatologists to be treating, rather than an infections disease specialist or even a pulmonologist. I am confused by his self proclaimed status and will continue my search for a qualified and license and professional.

Dr. Ward & most of his staff didn’t wear masks during the pandemic when transmissions were high & vaccines unavailable. Unfortunately, his policy wasn’t posted, so a patient didn’t realize it until called back to the exam room. Even during the current Covid Delta upsurge in this area he continues to be against masks & vaccinations. His politics shouldn’t affect a patient’s health, so I sought a new dermatologist. In the years I treated with him he was a good dermatologist.

Angela Danley works under Jon Ward. As a patient of Dr. John Ward, I read the literature in his office and learned of the spa connected with his practice, Aqua Medical Spa. I started seeing Angela Danley for laser hair removal. On my second visit, I waited in a little room with no windows for an hour when I went out into the reception area to find a tissue. During my search for a tissue, I asked if someone would be seeing me soon. The receptionist told me Ms. Danley was tied up down stairs and she would be up shortly. Not long after going back to the little room to wait, Ms. Danley appeared in an agitated state. While she waived the fee for the visit, I felt as if Ms. Danley was still annoyed. Ms. Danley asked her assistant what setting the laser was set on. The assistant replied "seven". Ms. Danley stated "That's a little higher than last time, but it will be alright". When Ms. Danley began using the laser on my face, she didn't move the laster in a methodical manner as she did on my first visit by placing the laser on my face, triggering the laser, then going straight down under the previous position until that column is complete, then moving to the next column and so on. Instead, Ms. Danley moved the laser in a manner as if she was washing a dish. In other words, she moved the laser around haphazardly. No sooner had I left the parking lot, a huge blister appeared on my chin below my lip and a big bump appeared on my right cheek. As soon as I got home, I called Ms. Danley's office, and she advised keeping the sore covered in Mupirocin and she prescribed antibiotics. I had a customary appointment set Dr. Jon Ward under whom Ms. Danley practices. I had seen Dr. Ward once previously and was following up with him. Dr. Ward was dismissive of the fact that the laser caused my blister, told me the blister had nothing to do with the laser, then walked out of the room stating "I'm not having this conversation". He had a patient who was harmed by one of his subordinates and he took a position of complete innocence when he could have apologized and said he would take care of the issue and see that it is resolved to the best of his ability. No. Not him. He is arrogant and really super dumb. He could have handled the problem the easy way. Anyway, after seeing Dr. Ward and relating my experience to family and friends, I have learned that others have had issues with Dr. Ward. This is no way to treat a patient.

My wife went and had a mole looked at and lanced off; it came back early stage melanoma. Dr. Ward stated it was very early stage and less than a centimeter thick (half a centimeter to be exact.) He stated he wanted to cut out where it had been. Instead of doing this my wife and I decided to follow a very successful holistic route, knowing 3 people whom were personally melanoma free all ranging from stages 1-3 cancer. We used this salve and removed the cancerous tissue and it is almost completely healed without a need for doctors digging in her arm. Dr. Wards office staff was not happy upon hearing this and instead of leaving it at a follow up appointment are now harassing and scaring my wife for not letting them do the procedure. I saw the most horrible procedure Done by Dr Ward in removing a pre-cancer from my Mother (Mary Powell) nose. He himself did the bohs method 4 times and should have realized she needed a plastic surgeon due to depth of skin cancer. However he passed her to a PA to complete the surgery. She was about 85 . I watched the male PA pull the loose skin up at least 2 - 3 inches and he literally rolled the skin down and stitched. Bless her heart she wore bandaids to cover for months. It was the ugliest lump on her nose, just folded skin. I had to lie to her to help her live with it. Horrible judgement! I would not recommend Dr. Ward to anyone, when seeing my child for the first time to diagnose and treat a skin condition, he was very unwelcoming, short, appeared to be annoyed by me asking questions, didn't take time to explain my child's condition, and last but not least he pushed me off on his PA for future appointments. This is not how you treat a new patient and if he did't want to see new patients, I should've simply been advised "HE IS NOT ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS."

Not only do I find Dr. Ward to be exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable in his field, but he willingly passes his knowledge and skills on to his subordinates. His desire to do this is probably not appreciated by the casual observer. However, from a leadership standpoint, it's appreciated because of the high quality of care it provides his patients

This review is about how well the office handled my request to fax a prescription to another state. We were in Ga. for the holidays and my rash appeared the day before Thanksgiving. I called the office and to my pleasant surprise they were able to fax my prescription that very afternoon. I know the office personal and nurses were extremely busy that day and really appreciate their efficiency in helping me out. Thanks to you all!
