Dr. Jonathan Kim Fears

I highly recommend Dr. Fears! He never gives up in trying to figure out what’s really causing your symptoms. I’ve given him a real run for his money, but he just digs deeper in resources when he’s stumped by cases like me!

Met Dr. Fears on recommendation from my brother for my 4-year old son. He was awesome! So funny and great with kids. Very knowledgeable!

Saw Dr. Fears recently to get my 8yo tested for allergies and he was awesome. My son was very nervous and Dr. Fears was gentle and funny which really helped my son relax.

Dr. Fears has been so wonderful with our family and my daughters peanut/treenut allergy. He has been so informative and helpful, making something that seems so overwhelming and scary to me much more manageable. I’m so glad we found him!

Dr. Fears takes the time to get to know his patients. He cares very much and works hard to solves patients problems. My ears hurt for years and kept me awake at night. Allergies and sinus issues were rules out. He had a theory of what may be wrong and sent me other specialists. He followed up on all of it and he was correct. I had surgery to repair my sphincter to stop acid from reaching my ears while I sleep. It had nothing to do with his specialty, but didn’t stop until this mystery was solved. This has truly changed my life. I moved out of the area years ago and have never experienced this level of care since. Highly recommend!

Upon scheduling my appointment, I was not informed that there were multiple locations, nor which location I was to report to for my appointment. I received nothing in the mail or via email and the reminder robo call did not specify the location. Unfortunately, I ended up at the Prince Frederick location, when I was supposed to go to Dunkirk, since Prince Frederick was the only location I was aware of. Please notice that Dr. Fears location above is listed as 110 Hospital Road in Prince Frederick, which is not even the current address of Calvert Internal Medicine in Prince Frederick. So I ended up reporting to BOTH locations in Prince Frederick. When the receptionist at the Prince Frederick location called Dunkirk to see if they could take me, she informed me that Dr. Fears HIMSELF said he would not be able to take me 15 minutes after my appointment time. I find this to be really irresponsible and inconsiderate, as it was the office's fault I was not aware of my appointment location. Also, in my experience most physicians are not on time, to the point that 15 minutes would effect them, at 3:30 in the afternoon. I refused to reschedule as I do not wish to see a doctor that can not accommodate a 15 minute late arrival due to an error by his office staff. Dr Fears is hands down the best doctor. He truly listens to your issues and is not afraid to figure out what is going on. Back in 2013, Johns Hopkins ENT told me that I just had to deal with my unexpected and profound hearing loss. Went to Dr Fears for help and after testing for various allergies he figured out I had environmental allergies. He started me on allergy shots and after the second shot my hearing returned. I owe Dr Fears great gratitude for being persistent and willing to help. I highly recommend Dr Fears!! He is hands down the best. Dr Fears is hands down the best doctor. Dr. Fears treats me the patient. He works with me individually trying to treat my asthma. I love the fact that I am a person with a disease, and he treats me not the disease symptoms.

Lots of busy drs. BUT they get the job done well. Great to have a group in one area. Yes, some days there is a wait, but they take time with me and answer all my questions. Never think one sided.Open to my symptoms AND LISTEN TO ME and looks at the "illness" objectively and great about my subjective descriptions. (Recommend writing down your questions: it will save time for you and other patients). I recommend them to my friends. Longest wait was 45 mins past appt time, But as I remember, some new patients showed late and slowed down others (snowball effect). BUT ALL got individualized care as if we were the only patient of the day. Front staff, Was a bit "off." They were my only complaint. I DID see new faces 2 months later. Wasn't dr's fault. I definitely would recommend Dr. Jonathan Fears to other family members and friends because he is very bright and knew what was happening with my allergy/immune problem and how to possibly help. He gave me more hope with his light-hearted attitude. He was very positive in helping me. He listened to me concerning my history and current health issues, understanding completely. He also has a great sense of humor.

Great doctor! I rarely wait more than 5 minutes in the exam room to be seen, he listens, and has a great friendly attitude. Grateful to have found him.

Horrible service. Wasted time going and trying to be seen. Apparently they think patients cannot show up on time. Told to be the 40 minutes before a doctor was schedule to see me. Then staff was very argumentative about it. AVOID THEM

Never had an issue. Kind staff. Not very timely but what doctor office is. Recommended.

Even my 14 yo son actually doesn't mind going to see him for allergies. Magnificent and real interactions with patient. Dr. Fears did an amazing job making my son feel like a person and not a patient. Good diagnosis and follow up to accurately help alleviate symptoms.

Dr. Fears cares about his patients takes time and discuss personal and medical issues. He make you feel comfortable and relaxed in his office. He is very knowledgeble and will research a situations if he is not sure.
