This amazing neurologist is compassionate, takes time to listen to figure out what the real causes for my symptoms are. I drive almost 3 hours to see him and he is worth every minute of it!

Awful bedside manners. Very very rude to his resident. Let's talk about inappropriate, he apologized to me for a history of sexual abuse that I did not experience before accusing me of imagining my health concerns. He laughed at me while questioning me as to why my general practitioner ordered my MRI. Verified my diagnosis then said he had no intentions of doing anything about it because he 'simply does not believe that I am experiencing the symptoms that I claim'. Accused me of being mental and I walked out. I have now found a Chiari specialist willing to care for my medical problems as well as my daughters which have also gone uncared for in the presence of Tripler Medical Center. Unbelievable experience. Changed my insurance immediately and will not follow up with military doctors in the state of Hawaii.

I'm afraid upon leaving Hawaii I will not find another Neurologist who provides the most COMPASSIONATE and THOROUGH treatment every patient deserves. Very articulate and detailed physician.
