Dr Slutsky's attitude was warm and caring. The procedure was quick with minimal discomfor, and was followed up with a phone call.

Would highly recommend Dr. Slutsky and his team. Dr. Slutsky made me feel at ease about the procedure. He explained every step during the procedure. Both The doctor and Raymonda were very caring, professional and addressed all my concerns.

Dr. Slutsky is patient centered, kind and professional. He takes time to be sure the patient understands and is comfortable with the surgery. He has performed multiple Mohs procedures on my face and you would have to look carefully to see any scars.

I was referred to Dr. Slutsky to have a mole/melanoma removed. The first time I met him was the removal appointment. I was very pleased from the moment I met him. He was very patient and informative. He went over everything, what I had, the different treatments, what he was going to do and why. Then he went over what care I had to do afterward which he discussed a couple of times so I didn't even need to read the aftercare instructions (Although I did). The staff was great also, from the front desk to the nurse assisting.

Considering I was having a cancerous lesion removed, I quickly became aware that I was being taken care of by a caring and compassionate doctor and his wonderful staff. Everything about my visit was comfortable and professional. Dr. Slutsky explained everything to me and interactions with his staff was very pleasant. My experience at Stony Brook Dermatology with Dr. Slutsky and his staff was super.

Had slow MOHS surgery done on scalp melanoma. Staff was calming, upbeat without being superficial. Dr. Slutsky explained everything he was going to do in detail. Answered all questions thoroughly. Created a relaxed atmosphere without minimizing the situation. Allowed my wife to stay in room during procedure and encouraged a peek of proceedings.

Dr. Slutsky specializes in Mohs surgery. His skills and his bedside manner are unsurpassed. He sets the patient at ease by explaining each step of the procedure. He is always concerned about the patient's comfort and well-being.

Although Dr Slutsky came highly recommended, I wanted to see what kind of fit he would be with my concerns. Within minutes of meeting him, I knew why I was referred to him. Extremely professional and explained everything in detail. Many specialists are so good in their field they might not have good bedside manner. Dr Slutsky has both. He was very kind and made sure I understood everything before leaving consultation. Due to a brain injury, it was extremely important to slowly go through procedure and ask as many questions as I needed to. Very patient and kind. Staff is a reflection of his work ethic. Caring & easy to make appointments with.

I highly recommend Dr. Slutsky! He is very professional and more importantly, very caring and calming. His staff and assistants are also wonderful. I have had several procedures done at his office and I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Dr.Slutsky made me feel very at ease before, during and after my biopsy. Dr Slutsky was very professional and very kind,$$ everyone including his office staff were so nice. They made a difficult situation so much better.

Dr Slutskys office is very professional. He takes a lot of time to explain the Mohs procedure. Any questions that I had were answered promptly. He made me feel so comfortable during the surgery. I was nervous at first. After meeting Dr Slutsky I felt so at ease.

Dr. Slutsky did Moh’s surgery on my face. He informed me of everything he was doing to put me at ease. He was patient, kind and explained what to expect before the surgery. This is the second time within a year the VA referred me to Dr. Slutsky for a MOHS procedure (For removal of 2 different types of cancer cells). From the moment we walked in the door EVERYONE was so polite and courteous - The receptionist, staff workers, nurses, and of course the doctor.

There were a total of four visits -- an initial consultation; removal of the first cancerous cell from my scalp; removal of the stitches and also a second cancerous cell; removal of those stitches. Dr. Slutsky is a wonderful educator as well as a superb surgeon. He explained everything he was doing in advance and welcomed questions. He conveys great confidence in the healing process and that the outcome will be what you want.

After being diagnosed with skin cancer for the second time, this is the first time going to Dr. Slutsky. This doctor explained everything, seemed to really care for my finished product after surgery, he was so gentle and always asked if I was comfortable and with no pain, was truly blessed to have met him!!! Friends have asked me when I am getting my surgery and when I show them it's done they think I'm lying. Besides his great bedside manner, when I left, I felt like we were friends. Never had such pleasant experience with such a serious matter. Thank God for Dr. Slutsky!!!

Dr. Slutsky was so reassuring both before and while performing Moh's surgery on my face. He kept me aware of each step in the process and was comforting, under the circumstances, in explaining each step in the process. Having cancer removed is not what anyone picks to do but it was enjoyable enough that I'd go back in a NY minute. Totally competent, professional, personal and fun!! His assistant was lovely too! 4th Mohs surgery with Dr. Slutsky - he is the best!

Went to Dr Slutsky for Mohs surgery for basal cell skin cancer. He took the time to explain every option and the pros and cons. He was able to get all of it on the first cut. My stiches have only been out a few days and already three people have commented on my scar that the plastic surgeon did a great job. I didn't see a plastic surgeon Dr Slotsky closed my wound. It's rare these days to see a doctor with the bedside manner who takes the time to know and understand his patient. Also, the team that supports him is top notch.

Yesterday, February 24th, I had Mohs surgery on my nose very close to my right eye. From the moment he walked in the room, Dr. Slutsky was reassuring and professional, explaining what he was doing all along the way. His positive approach and his sharp skills made my experience more relaxing. I honestly did not feel the injection, the cutting or the suturing. I was actually shocked with he said he had finished taking the sample out. His phone call the evening after the surgery was very welcome. It is obvious that he cares about his patients. I would definitely recommend Dr. Slutsky to any friend in need of Mohs Surgery.

I had the MOHS Surgery on Feb 10 2022. Dr Slutsky and the nurses made you feel at ease and comfortable and explained everything in Detail. The procedure was done with care and he explained everything along the way, I had the Stiches out Feb 17 and it was the same experience. I actually got received compliments on how the stitching looks which of cause I said who preformed the operation . If I ever need another operation of this type I will certainly ask for Dr Slutsky and his staff.. I will also recommend them to anybody who I know who need this type of procedure Thanks for a job well done

Dr. Jordan Slutsky has removed several Basal Cell and Squamous Cell carcinomas for me because the ones I removed in the past came out quite poor, so I left it to the professional. He constantly informs you on what he is doing while he operates, and explains things in great detail so you feel at ease. His staff is very attentive, and they even laugh at my stupid jokes too. Its nice to know that someone who is taking an ounce of flesh really knows what he is doing, because so many people today have no clue what they are doing. Thanks Jordan!

This was my third visit with Dr. Slutsky and like the former two, Dr. Slutsy was on time, clear, professional and engaged. He explained everything clearly and answered my questions with patience and understanding.

From initial visit, to my surgery, to the removal of my stitches my experience has been wonderful. The office staff was excelent. Dr Slutsky explained everything very thoroughly and totally made me feel at ease. The proceedure went smoothly. He constantly made sure I was comfortable and answered any questions I had. The office followed up with me the next day to make sure I was OK and again a few days later. You can tell he and his staff really care about their patients by the amount if time they spend with you answering any question or concerns you have. In today's world you do not find this too often. I would recommend him highly to family and friends.

Dr Slutsky, MD removed a skin cancer from my nose. Dr Slutsky madw me feel very comfortable from beginnibg to end. During the procedure he spoke with me continually all the while he expertly performed the MOHS surgery getting all the cancer removed on the obe abd only cut. Dr Slutsky showed genuine concern even offering to call me to follow up on how i was doing. I went to Dr. Slutsky after my Patchogue dermatolist was operating on my nose while stoned. Dr. Slutsky found an ignored melanoma on my back, over spine. He whisked it off, saved my life. He's a nice guy as well. If only my luck. was always that good.
