Dr. Jorge Orlando Diaz

I suffered with trouble daily over a 2 year period under other cardiologists who only wanted to throw a pill at the problem. Fed up and frustrated, I found Dr. David who immediately put me in touch with Dr. Diaz who got me into surgery. My procedure was absolutely pain free and 2 mos out am feeling better than I felt in years. Dr. Diaz is very competent and successful. He is very direct and to the point which enables a level of trust.

Outstanding person - cares about his patients, he just isn't 'mushy' about it! I suffered for months with a cut wire in my pacemaker/defig. Not only did he replace it, but found a better path for the new wire to connect to my heart. I felt 100% better after he did his magic. Not only that, I lost 65 pounds and my old generator was just hanging, almost flopping around. And, my two scars from previous 'experiences' were horrible. He made it all look as if a plastic surgeon had been 'in there'. For those who don't appreciate this may - go find a better physician - guaranteed, you won't find one! I think he really saved my life.

Dr Diaz performed an ablation for me 4 years ago, and I have had NO ARRYTHMIA since then! 100 percent satisfied!!! I see some of the other complaints that people have written, so I will say he isn't the most talkative person, and his office is a little hard to find. Personally, I'm not looking for a social connection when I go see a doctor. I just want someone who knows what they are doing and will do it right the first time. I went for my first appointment scared. This doctor did nothing to alleviate my fears. He made me feel like It was in my mind or caused by my current meds. I have had this since I was young and not on all these meds. He was unprofessionally dressed and he was rude. He made me feel like I was wasting his time with my questions. First visit doctor showed concern and urgency of testing being done as soon as possible. He didn't pull any punches and I rather have it that way. I guess some people would say his bedside manner wasn't good. I would say he wanted me know the situation was urgent.

He has a very nice bedside manner and Is very thorough and concise. His staff is very nice and easy to work with. If you need an electrophysiologist...he is the one!

Worst experience. Took my elderly aunt to treat her afib and it was horrible. I felt like he didn't care. I wouldn't recommend him

Horrible bedside manner. I do not recommend this careless physician. He needs to improve on his social skills. Didn't answer any of my questions and made me feel like i didn't mean anything to him.

Dr. Diaz will be doing a heart ablation procedure on me soon. Laurie from this office is incredibly helpful, professional and friendly. She takes the time to answer questions. She is an absolute JOY to speak with.

Dr. Diaz has been taking care of me for over 6 years, and I can't say enough about this wonderful Dr. He's incredibly knowledgeable, and knows exactly what he is doing. I trust him completely. My experience with Dr. Jorge Diaz was wonderful! He is a remarkable Doctor. I dreaded my surgery, but he and his very competent staff made it so much easier. His nurse, Gloria was, and still is, so very attentive to my every need. She called me before and after my surgery to inquire about my well being. Dr. Diaz couldn't be more professional! He truly cares about his patients, and I certainly saw personal proof of this. He is a wonderful, caring and very efficient doctor and surgeon. I will always be thankful to him for making my surgery so much easier to deal with. From my check-in to my release from the Central Florida Hospital in Sanford, Florida was a great experience. I've had several major surgeries, but never a better experience than I've had at the capable and trusted hands of Dr. Jorge Diaz and his staff. If I could rate them higher, I definitely would. I will continue to use Dr. Diaz if needed in the future. He and his staff will always be remembered by me and anyone else that I can refer his way! Dr. Diaz performed an ablation on me. I found him to be honest, straightforward and caring before & afterwards. Each time I had questions, he answered them (sometimes using a visual) and once my question was answered he would say "anything else"? His wait time can be long if he is at the hospital but do YOU really want him to rush back for an office appt if YOU are the one on the operating table??? (not me!!) As for his staff...Lori is a godsend! Kind, professional, made me feel at ease.

Very poor personality and lacks compassion for his patients. I do not recommend this physician.

I recently had a pacemaker replaced. With the help of Dr. Jorge Diaz and his staff, it was much easier than anticipated. This doctor is amazing! Very professional, caring and attentive to my every need before, during and after surgery. The should be more doctors with his sincere caring for his patients. I am so fortunate to have had him do my surgery, and I will continue to use him and also recommend him to everyone I know. Great doctors are so hard to find. I consider myself very lucky!

I recently had an ablation with Dr. Diaz, he was very informative about my condition and the options for treatment. The staff is very friendly and courteous and informative as well. They follow up throughout the way and makes sure your appointments go as smooth as possible.

The best professional in the field, gave my father a new chance of life, he performed an ablation for AF, his hands and his technique are excellent, he offers the best specialized medical care with the best results. Recommended!!!

I currently work for Dr. Diaz, my experience here at his practice has been awesome! His work ethic is impeccable! He is very knowledgeable and cares about his patients.

I love everyone in the office. They were very attentive and professional. I was having bad chest pains and dizziness and they made me feel everything was going to be ok. I had a pacer implanted by Dr Diaz. Even though I was scared they made me feel hopeful and in the end all worked out.

I was referred to Dr. Diaz's office because of another physician who was working with him but is now nowhere to be found. I've been to the office in Lake Mary twice, both times arriving at my scheduled time, then waiting for an hour or more. The receptionist/ofc mgr comes across with a fake, syrupy politeness, but today, when I went to her about having waited for an hour, she became pushy, rude, disrespectful and condescending. Others in the waiting room stated this wait was not unusual.

I am treated for A-fib and recently underwent a cardiac ablation. Dr. Diaz is my cardiac electrophysiologist and an outstanding, highly trained physician. I truly found the best doctor in my area! He is a perfect combination of skill and compassion. Prior to my procedure, I felt well informed and the follow up in his office has been excellent. We have a "partnership" toward bettering my heart health. I can't ask for more!

Arrogant & condescending. Very impressed with himself & how important he is. Makes you feel like you shouldn't ask such dumb questions. His english is not that great either. Receptionists at front desk do not recognize when someone has arrived but are very quick to call you up and ask for payment. Wish there were options in the area

My father went to Dr. Diaz to have a defibrillator put in. First, he was very rude and had no bed side manner. Second, he sends my father to the hospital at 8am to have bloodwork done. When my Dad gets there, the staff had no idea what he was there for and he didn't leave until 11:30. For his surgery, Diaz told him to be at the hospital at 6am. He sat in the waiting until 10am before they called him back to be prepped. Finally, my Dad was waiting on Diaz to come check him so he could be discharged and he never showed up but just signed the papers anyway. Even the nurse didn't understand why he didn't come check on my Dad. So don't bother with Dr. Diaz because he doesn't really care about you or your time. My husband's first visit with Dr. Diaz went well. He was personable and chatty. Each visit after that was disconcerting. Dr. Diaz was short and no longer personable. The staff books too many appointments on the same day to get defibrillator checked and oftentimes the wait extended to an hour or more! My husband had a new defibrillator implanted by Dr. Diaz a couple of years ago, which is read by a machine in our home and he is now required to only visit Dr. Diaz's office once a year. Unfortunately there isn't another Defib. Cardiologist within a reasonable driving time from where we live or he would have changed doctors. My husband's first visit with Dr. Diaz went well. Exceptionally poor!! Bedside manner is non-existent, his office staff is inefficient and they do not understand basic English. Please see another doctor. You and your loved ones deserve better.

Dr Jorge Diaz implanted a Pacemaker Defibrillator on 10/18/2012. I could not be happier with the results. I would have him do the surgery all over again. The office staff and the Doctor speak Spanish as their first language and I suspect this may put some people off. For me, I could care less. My concern is about skill and competence.
