I read the Google reviews before I went and I decided to go anyway. The previous reviews were spot on!, From the hour and half wait times to the Dr. trying to sell me vitamins! Really disappointed in my experience but I'm a gluten for punishment so I'm going back in two weeks and try again. Dr was a sweet heart overall perhaps he just isn't a good salesman.
do not go to this doctor. I have been having seizures, he told me it was "just anxiety" and all my ER trips and doctors appointments were just me "barking up the wrong tree". He wouldn't listen to any of my symptoms which clearly indicate that something is wrong with me physically. I literally went in there with a walker and could barely step up to sit on the exam table, i was so shakey. and yet he says nothings wrong with me after seeing me for 5 minutes.
This doctor is an absolute joke. If you can even call him one. My partner has been having seizures so frequently we’ve been in and out of hospitals, ER, urgent care, you name it. We finally got to see a specialist and unfortunately, it was Dr. Gonzalez. He fabricated this narrative that my partner was “making it up in their head” because anxiety is a “low insight disorder”. He was very condescending and acted as though even I had no insight on anything my partner was truely experiencing. He said we were “barking up the wrong tree” and that hes “seen it a million times” people going to physical specialists for purely mental things that is. If this were true, why did my partner get prescribed a seizure med right away by a doctor in the emergency room? Why has he been having physical health issues his whole life? Yes, seizures can be non-epileptic and lead by trauma. However this does not mean it isnt worth treating or isnt a seizure. This man had my partner sobbing in the car after. ??

he spent a few minutes telling me that I was wrong about my experiences and pain, and the rest of the time backpedaling the "you're faking it" to try to sell me some expensive and barely regulated brand of vitamin that is "so legitimate" pharmacies and real stores won't even carry them and looks to be about the same level of trustworthiness as herbalife and the rest of the scams. and then he got upset and rushed me out when I said I needed to run any new "medications" by my rheumatologist and wouldn't commit to his vitamins (excuse me, ""medical food"") on the spot. literally a snake oil salesman, I can't believe this man went to a real medical school and still has a license
Over the course of several months treatment, Dr. Gonzales failed to read my chart and was generally distracted. He was quite focused on selling a vitamin supplement, which he urged at every visit. I was also told to take a medication that was making me vomit 'just one more month' for several months on end.
If I could leave a minus 5 stars I would. My husband was referred here and has Parkinson’s. Long story short, we felt uncomfortable from the initial appointment. Not one person was friendly. Dr Gonzalez came in for maybe 3 minutes, changed all of my husband’s meds and did not explain why, and said to schedule an MRI and EEG. We did get the MRI, however 4 months later we still have not been called to schedule the EEG. The medicine he was changed to was giving him major side effects, and it took 5 phones calls and messages to get a call back and the nurse told us they called our pharmacy to change his medication, but never told us. We were never told what the new medication was, how to take it, or if we should taper down the current medication as it was a tapering dosage to begin with. The follow up appt was just last week in January of 2023, after waiting 45 minutes to be seen, Dr Gonzalez walked into the exam room, listed my husband’s medication and asked if he was still taking a certain medication which was the first one that HE supposedly switched us to, which means he has NO CLUE what medication was prescribed to my husband. Then he proceeds to inform us that he is confident that my husband has no medical issues, but a deep seeded trauma that he buried from his childhood, and referenced that my husbands parents were not good parents due to being divorced. He then ended the visit with saying that Freud was a neurologist and that neurology and psychiatry are the same and trying to convince us that my husband was crazy. This is after he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s in a nationally accredited clinic in Baton Rouge, LA. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL! As we left to make a follow up appointment Dr Gonzalez yelled to us from down the hall to give us a brochure trying to sell us pills and Or vitamin supplements to combat depression and mood disorders. We immediately called our primary doctor and we will NOT be returning to this office ever! And we will make sure that anyone on our family, or friends or anyone we know never sees this man for any medical reason. Our primary care physician has agreed to never refer any more of his patients again. I have never written a bad review in my life, I just feel anyone who needs a neurologist should keep receive better care than this!!
My nerves are destroyed. He could have saved me had he done any tests that I repeatedly asked for!! I’ve been seeing him 4 years. He only wants to sell his $800 supplements and Sanexas treatments $6000. Other doctors say he’s selling “snake oil” He’s dangerous!
I know the waits are long…my primary care physician prepared me for that. This review isn’t about my pcp, but it’s worth explaining…My primary care physician is awesome and has been with our family since I was pregnant with my 20 year old son…the same primary care physician explained to me recently that Tulsa has very few good neurologists to serve our whole city of over a million people. That’s why th waits are very long. What we really need as a community, are more doctors like doctor Gonzalez. He has helped me with my migraines and dizziness but I also know I have a complicated case and after a year I am back to see him a lot again because I am better but not well enough to work or live a full life. Sometimes I feel like he doesn’t remember me or my case, but how can I expect him to with so many patients and so many months between appointments? My primary care physician prepared me for that. What Tulsa needs are more neurologists like Dr. Gonzalez to spread the work out more evenly.

I saw Dr. Gonzalez for 6 months. After my first visit I started working on a referral to a new Neuro, which took 7 months. There is a reason you don’t need a referral and can get in right away. He is rude, you will never wait less than an hour beyond your appoint time, and his staff are overwhelmed. He takes too many patients and then treats them like they’re stupid and weak. I feel sorry for his nurse and staff.

My autoimmune doctor sent my file to this clinic 5 or 6 different times starting in 2018. I kept contacting them to try and get an appointment and finally in 2019 it happened. This guy spent a total of about 20-30 minutes with me combined over the 4-5 appointments that i actually had with him. The first appointment he didn't even know why i was there because the office had, yet again, lost my file. In 2019 this guy diagnosed me with "conversion disorder" and sent me to a psychotherapist. Finally in 2022 I have been diagnosed with MS from another facility. I sure wish that I had been given the serious consideration that I had needed years ago by a professional instead of the disregard as being someone that was considered hysterical. 1st Time Seeing Dr. Gonzales MD, found him to be very compassion and understanding to my health needs. I would highly recommend him to all my Veteran ???????? Friends and Family
Rude Dr. Says really bizarre things that have no basis in science. Peddles his supplements. At least an hour wait after appointment time and if you mention it, he gets mad.
Horrible experience
I don’t know how this Dr is allowed to practice. His staff never answers the phone when you call. The voice mailbox is always full so you. Any leave a msg. He ordered a LP but failed to note that entering & exiting CSF pressure must be measured, so I had to do it again! He said my neuropathy is caused by a. B12 deficiency so I did the weekly shots. The neuropathy only got worse. I filed for disability and listed him as a previous provider. Social Security contacted me alerting me that it took weeks for them to get in touch with him only to be told that he has no record of me being a patient. This doctor’s bedside manner is atrocious. Why is he in the specialty if he isn’t interested in being a good dr?

My husband has dementia. The VA’s neurology department is not good so I asked to be seen outside the VA. They sent us to this doctor. We saw him on May 29th for the first consult. I had heard nothing so a month ago I called and they were unfriendly and tried to pass the buck. The person on the phone said she had to check something and she would call me back. She NEVER did! I’m so angry that people don’t care how desperate we are for any help or answers. Don’t go to this office EVER!!!!! There is a reason for the 2.5 rating!!!!! Please don’t waste ur time. If you're looking for a professional neurologist, I'd advise going to the bagel shop down the street, as "Dr." Gonzalez is anything but. I brought my father in on a reference concerning his neuropathy. Our appointment was for 9:30 and at 9:25 the nurse Bernice (who is very kind, albeit a bit soft spoken and seemed like she was new. That'll be important later) took us back and took dad's vitals. That was the last time anyone said boo to us, as we waited an hour without any further human contact. My father, who is not known for his patience, decided that was enough and we left. As we were walking back to the waiting room from exam room 3, I hear the doctor in the next room say to his patient "ma'am, I need to see my other patients now, some of them are leaving". We got to the door and he appears saying he can see us now. My dad told him he had his chance and we were done. The doctor claimed he takes so long because he listens to his patients. Well, thats good. I hope the 1-2 patients he's able to see a day due to that are enough to pay his bills. As we leave, I hear him tell Bernice (who looked shocked to see us come to the door to leave) "these things happen and"...whatever he said then became inaudible. I don't think she thought his behavior was very professional either as I heard her speaking in an excited tone of voice, as if she was saying "yeah, but someone should have known so they could let those people know". I don't know if thats actually what she said, as it too was inaudible, but that should give you a clue as to what her mannerisms were at that point. Google won't let me post without clicking a star, but based on my experience and the numerous other reviews on here that echo these sentiments, I'd give him 0 if I was allowed to. Dr Gonzalez spends time with his patients and cares deeply for his patients. He is very knowledgeable and seeks the best for his patients.
Please don't let the reviews scare you from seeing this doctor. I've been seeing Dr. Jorge Gonzalez for a few months now and he has helped me so much. He has listened to all my concerns and questions regarding my health issues and has been very patient with me. He and his staff were prompt with getting test ordered and information to me. After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis Dr. Gonzalez personally worked with the drug company to help get my medication covered because I do not have employment or health insurance. Went in for testing for neuropathy from my diabetes and he informed me I needed to see my primary care doctor because of extremely high blood pressure and heart rate. I followed up and was admitted to the hospital and now doing much better. I give him credit for perhaps saving my life. Dr Gonzalez is a good doctor, however, his office is poorly run. There are no reminders for appointments, I had to pay $1200 for labs that weren't coded correctly, I got charged for appointments that I canceled well in advanced ($50 a pop ). When I tried to dispute these charges, I was yelled at. Not worth the frustration.
my disabled daughter was a patient of his. First off, I had alot of problems just getting his office to fill her prescriptions!!!! pharmarcies email lots of time to get her refills but the supposed person who does them doesnt do her job. Once they send her refills to the wrong pharmacy! I had to drive all the way over to the office just to get refills and they swore no refills were emailed to them. Thats a LIE! I trust my pharmacist very much. Second the Dr himself seems cold and standoffish. His front desk people are rude and let you stand there awhile before they even see why you are there. I will be seeking my new doctor for my daughter for starters even if I have to drive to Oklahoma City to do so. I have read alot of the previous reviews and I wished I had done so before my daughter became his patient. I saw several workers behind the desks when I came in the office maskless!!! we are in the middle of a pandemic and they were maskless yet post a sign on office door that you wear one. Dr. Gonzales has been very efficient with me. And when he's done going over my therapy & medication he asks me questions and takes the time to answer anything I might have. No rushing you out the door. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because they no longer except my issuance, so I have to pay by credit card.
He is the best Neurologist that I've ever had, and he explained everything to me about my Traumatic Brain Injury in great detail.
He has been a very good Christian doctor for me he does his best job for me I have a lot of respect for him and GOD bless him
My PCP sent a referral request to Dr. Gonzalez's office on 2/11. On 2/26 they tried to re-contact his office with no success. In March they were able to speak to someone there who claimed they "didn't get the entire faxed referral", so it was sent again. It's now 4/13 and still no calls to schedule an appointment, so my PCP provided their direct contact information. I tried to call and the phone just rang and rang. That's when I found this Healthgrades rating and discovered this is par for the course. I've recommended my PCP stop referring patients to this practice, due to their inability to serve clients in a reasonable manner. I regret losing 2 months waiting for treatment here, but it seems like that may be for the best in the long run. This isn't how you run a professional practice.
No stars! My wife suffered a severe brain injury and in the ICU Dr. Gonzalez decided out of thin air that the reason she had this severe stroke was due to her taking illicit drugs. How and why he pulled this diagnosis out of his pompous ass is unknown. The drug screen/lab work that he ordered was negative for any illicit drugs and he committed the further sin of omission when he willfully failed to correct this in her medical records. I did not discover this until some months later when she returned home and I was going through her medical records. I then discovered that once a Physician puts something in a patients chart it is impossible to get that error removed. I reckon we could have paid lawyers and taken Dr. Gonzalez to court, but who the hell has the time and money to do that. He was also kinda rude and weird during his office visits; he became upset that my wife, who has a severe brain injury, couldn't follow his questions or instructions very well. He would roll his eyes and exhibit what the kids now days call "attitude" like she was taking up his precious time when we had waited over 2 hours in the waiting room for him to show up at the office. So I fired his sorry ass and we found another much more competent, and kinder Neurologist. This man is a freak of the strangest kind. Don't go near him. Run away! Run away very fast!

They NEVER return phone calls. If they do it will not be for days at a time. But they will contact you repeatedly if you owe them money!!!! I put no stars but it MAKES me put something.
There’s so many issues with this office, starting off with the wait time. The doctor doesn’t really seem to care or engaged he seems all about money if you ask me. I haven’t got anything accomplished since seeing him

I saw Dr. Gonzalez for years and was sad when his former location told me he had retired. Turns out he'd just opened his own practice. I was thrilled to find him again.
Worst doctor visit I have ever had. I waited over an hour and a half just to be called back. Wait at least another half an hour to see him. When he finally did come in we barely talked about my issue, being from problems from having brain surgery when I was a kid, and prescribed me anti seizure medication which he believed would help with my migraines but all it did was make me sick. I would not recommend him to anyone and it was a complete waste of time. Wouldn’t give him any stars but it isn’t possible.
Total disregard for the patientâs time- âappointmentâ at 9 means you might get in at 11, IF he remembers to see you at all. We had one of our appointments where he never found the time to see us ( we waited 3 hours) but did find the time to bill our insurance.
Went in for a cyst on my brain. He only wanted to talk about my migraines. Didn't want to listen to me. Would roll his eyes. Wanted over a week, and still waiting, for my MRI to be scheduled because his office hasn't sent the referral for it. Prescribed meds I didn't need to a pharmacy in a different town after I asked him not to. Definitely finding a different doctor.
After waiting two hours to see the doctor- we realized he had forgotten us in the exam room! We left without seeing the doctor, yet he billed our insurance for the visit! We have notified them as to this fraudulent charge.
I’ve seen Dr Gonzales for migraines, which he’s almost diminished completely. Now he is dealing with my neuropathy issues. He is amazing and I trust him completely. I agree that at times I’ve had to wait to see the doctor but I don’t have a problem with it because I want the same undivided attention that he’s been giving the patient he’s with while I’m waiting. Totally worth it. A wonderful, caring, knowledgeable doctor!
Their office does not function well at all. Their phone messages are hard to understand, they never answer the phone, they lie to you about refunds and copays, and the wait times are insane. Go anywhere else
I've seen him a few times,he has been nice with me but lately he changed my meds to a stronger mg ,it made me feel very bad a bit dizzy,I called up again and they changed to a little less, but the next morning I felt pretty bad again.on Friday morning I called and the lady that answered said that she would let the nurse know about it,I told lady how bad the meds made me feel so I for sure expected a call,I called back in the afternoon and the answering servicre said they closed at noon on friday.not a very good deal.owell I hope things with me don't get worse by Monday morning ☹️ I've seen him a few times,he has been nice with me but lately he changed my meds to a stronger mg ,it made me feel very bad a bit dizzy,I called up again and they changed to a little less, but the next morning I felt pretty bad again.on … More
After finally getting all of my testing done, I'm called to come in for the results. I show up, and they don't have a single test result yet, and one of the tests that they sent me out to do, was months prior. Weeks later I came back, but was in severe pain, and after 45 minutes, was told it would be that much more. This would make me miss my pain related Dr appointment that was next in the day's list. I rescheduled again. Today, he was an hour late for a 9 am, (how can you already be behind an hour, by 9am?!), he gives me the test results, except... The very first test I had done, an MRI, was somehow STILL not in their possession! That's a pretty important test!!! Excuses to hear: 1) We outsource our scheduling. They don't know what they're doing. 2) They only tell us to schedule appointments. 3) This one was told to me by the doctor himself, "we've been really busy!" Do yourself a favor, make him less busy. This place is so poorly managed! Worst office ever. Husband had 4:30pm appt, we were not seen by the doctor until 6:30pm. Then we were told because it was so late, the rest of the staff had gone home and we’d have to come back to do necessary testing. Which is pretty messed up if you ask us, making us wait so long on them and then allowing staff to leave but making us stay, just to be told they couldn’t do anything for us that day. We had both taken off work early to make it. Second time, husband told them straight up he couldn’t wait around for so long as he had plans scheduled soon after the appt. After waiting an hour without seeing the doctor, he left. Third time, it took Dr. Gonzalez 1.5 hours from the appointment time to see my husband. Do these people not understand that we are missing work for these appointments that we’re paying for? That it isn’t fun/normal/cool to have to wait this long for an appointment this stupid place scheduled? You’d think these people would learn how to run a business by now. Being a physician myself I always look at both the patient angle and the business side of a practice. First and foremost Dr. Gonzalez is very knowledgeable about neurological disease. He was professional, did a very thorough exam, and explained his findings. When I followed up to go over a couple of tests I had done, again he was spot on and very helpful in my decision making. His office staff was professional and helpful. In fact I forgot my wallet on my follow up appointment and they could not have been more understanding. Dr. Gonzalez’ wife Gloria was nice, polite, and clearly has a grip on the office. She was kind enough to come out in the waiting room and offer treats and drinks because of the long wait due to a patient’s medical emergency. I would offer this only critical advice. He definitely needs a larger office. He appears to have a very busy practice and needs space (especially in the waiting room). Because he is so busy you should plan to wait. I scheduled my follow up for the first appointment in the morning and I was in and out in 30 min. My first visit lasted 3 hours in total but that was due to the emergency and me being a work in appointment I did not mind. Also I had to go pick up my own test results and bring them to the office (that’s the fault of the testing facility not his). But being responsible for your own care is almost always necessary these days. I find that by being proactive in my care I avoid those potential problems we patients find like “tests not being available”, like I saw on one review. Scheduling my follow up appointment first thing in the morning was a great idea. I want to personally thank Dr. Gonzalez for his expert care and the office staff for making my illness a little easier to manage. Would definitely recommend Dr. Gonzalez and his staff. So far we've only had one visit, but based on my experience so far both he and his staff are friendly and have gone out of their way to be accommodating. Specifically, when I called I mentioned that I was flying in from overseas to accompany my father to various doctor appointments and they made the effort to schedule an appointment on extremely short notice so that I could accompany my father. They were also very responsive and helpful in setting up referrals for further testing. My wife is a doctor, and after speaking with her about his questions and the tests he performed and follow up tests he requested our impression is that he is knowledgeable and professional. I must admit that the wait time was quite long inside the office, but realistically there simply aren't enough neurologists to go around and there are long wait times where ever you go. I really can't understand the many negative reviews I read.
Saw Dr. Gonzales late Dec. 2018 - setting an appt. with Dr. Gonzales, his thorough examination, and his intellect in knowing what he could do to help control my pain, were the keys to my pleasing experience - Waited 1 1/2 hours - sat in the room another 45 minutes - He gave direction to my next step, said the office staff would contact me - As of the beginning of February never heard from his staff - called - they mentioned they would check on the matter - It's now March 3 - I've heard nothing
When trying to get a refill 6 days in advance no reply to pharmacy from Dr.s office. Talked with receptionist who stated they had it. This is a medication that cannot be stopped immediately. Receptionist was very rude and hung up on me. This person has been without the meds for 2 days.
Stay far away from this place. Wait times are 1.5 hours plus. Office Mgr lied to me about copay refund. Billed me even though I never saw the Doctor. Do yourself a huge favor and find any other neurologist!
Very thorough with exam and record keeping, was pleased he was current and up to date with newest meds as well as research in neuroscience.
Very good doctor and staff too
I have been a patient for almost a year, although the wait has at times been long, I have gotten frustrated but, I can understand because some of my test results needed a lot of explaining. I have a condition that has no cure...none! And my last appointment I told him I was just tired of hurting all the time and he said, “you’re not throwing in the towel, I’m not giving up on helping you,” and that actually gave me hope. All in all, he’s a good doctor. He’s also human! He can only do so much.
Office staff never called for a week after my primary made the required referral, gave me wrong date for 1st appt after I called repeatedly. When I finally had an appt. I arrived an hour early for a 3pm appt, wasn't put into a room until after 6pm. Dr. G walked in and told me that my at the time 3 month long headache was not a result of my brain tumor (diagnosed previously on CT), but was due to childhood abuse & stress. I will not go back- I will be looking in OKC for a neurologist.
I don’t even know where to begin. All of the reviews about the appts. taking so long are no lie. Every time I was seen my appt ran over without any apology from the staff. They acted as if it were normal. That should tell you something. Every time that I got up to walk out suddenly I was the next pt to be seen. My insurance has been messed up, I’ve been given wrong info about getting labs done, I’ve had so many problems getting prescriptionsIt takes FOREVER to get a new prescription sent. Etc...
Unprofessional staff. Won't return a phone call and when you ask about the referral he requested they tell you it's not in the chart. Mediation refills take months so you will run out. They process insurance incorrectly so expect a bill. He's rude but the staff are worse. They laugh at you when your hands are unable to grasp objects such as pens, clip boards, door knobs, ect.. yes laughter at you the patient seeking help for a neurological condition. I left feeling worthless.
I love Dr. Gonzalez and would recommend him to anyone. He was able to diagnose me with MS and getting me the help I need. He’s very smart and knows what he’s talking about!
The entire experience was a fiasco. Scheduling a referral took 3 weeks and I had to keep calling them. Office staff was unprofessional. He ran an hour late and ever apologized. (My time is just as valuable!). He was rude, sarcastic and didn’t want to hear anything I had to say. I left feeling unheard and belittled. Horrible bedside manner. Such arrogance!
Dr. Gonzalez was awesome! I was sad to learn he was no longer at St. John. He and Robin were very helpful in helping me get my condition under control. Dr. Gonzalez is missed dearly!
Waited for and hour and a half past our appt. time. Finally got into a room but then waited again. Dr. Gonzalez finally came in and acted like he really didn't have time to see us at that point. Everything I tried to tell him about things my husband had been experiencing he was SO rude to me and pretty much told me whatever Me or other family members had observed didn't matter. If my husband thought he was fine then he was. Felt horrible when we left. Glad he is no longer in St. John's office
I appreciate Dr Gonzalez. I saw him for about four years. Yes, the wait seems forever. At one visit I finally opened the door to look out & I saw him sitting across the hall at a computer reading papers that was in his hands. He looked up & immediately came to my room with those papers. To my surprise they were mine. Although he was quit late he still took time to review my info before coming in the room half prepared to see me. He was a tremendous help & I would use him again in a heartbeat!
Yes the wait time is long. I don't mind that when working with a Dr. That is actually trying to help me with the headaches and migraines. His nurse practitioner is so sweet and helpful with explaining if you tell her you dont understand something. I'm not sure why so many negative reviews but they are great with migraine & headache patients.
Would not even give one star. Waited for over an hour & wasn't seen. Left the office & got a refund. My time is just as important
This office is horrible. They said it would take "two weeks max" to get my insurance cleared and an appointment scheduled for the botox to help my chronic migraines. After three weeks I started calling every day. I was laughed at by the front office and NEVER got a call back for over a week after. When I finally did get a call back it was with excuses that they don't have enough people to cover the work load. NOT MY PROBLEM.
My son had an appointment with Dr. Gonzales last week and was asked to come in early as he had an opening. He ( my son) arrived at 2:30 for 3:00 appt. He waited until 4:45 p.m. to be seen!!!! No Apology even. I had read all the reviews, but our PCP who is highly regarded referred us to him. He spent 15 minutes with my son and gave him meds ( same he is currently taking) and said to come back in 3 months??? WT?? CRUSHED! and we feel so hopeless...
Dr. Gonzalez likes to use the diagnosis of some negative experience in the past is causing the problem so it's more a mental issue. This is what he told my husband whose condition continued to get worst over the following few months before he unexpectedly passed away. If only Dr Gonzales had not pre-judged the situation we may have learned what was happening and, possibly, had a solution.
He does NOT listen to his patients. You have to wait sometimes over an hour after your scheduled appointment. Takes personal phone calls during your appointment.

Worst dr ever! Did not want to treat or explain any tests. Wait an hour to see him!!!!! Awful awful
Very good care..listens
Grateful that I found him- he is like no other specialist that I have seen. He actually takes the time to figure out the root cause.

When I asked the nurse if my blood pressure reading was normal she said, "I'm not sure, I need to brush up on that...I'm sure it's not bad." Dr. Gonzalez had atrocious bedside manner and his nurse practitioner Robin was a lunatic who within 15 minutes of seeing me told me my headaches were emotional, likely caused by a childhood trauma I'd probably suppressed. (This is absolutely not the case.) This place is an atrocity, and I'll be looking for a new neurologist immediately. What a joke.
Dr.Gonzalez has been my neuro doctor for the past 16 yrs, he has always taken the time to explain in depth any & all questions I or my family have. he has even returned phone calls with test results as late as 9:00pm any night of the week just to ease my mind. (I have MS so my questions are many & varied.) Dr. Gonzalez has always had the correct answer for me. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. His nurse Sherry is a caring and concerned nurse. the two of them make am A+ health t
His bedside manner is atrocious. He does not explain things and when you have concerns about results on a test he acts as if you are putting him out to explain them. Working with him has been a battle. We are switching to a new neurologist. His Nurse Practitioner was excellent and did the job he should have been doing. She cared and spent time with us to try and find a solution.
Dr Gonzalez and his staff have just saved my life. Very caring staff, so nice and helpful. Very smart nurse who takes time with you and cares about you. I have no idea where the bad comments came from and im sorry you had such a bad experience but I have been to way too many specialists who sent me out the door crying and told me I was crazy. I can give you names of these people if you need them. This place is full of love and compassion and I would recommend him to anyone. Awesome! I love them!
I would do one star if possible. I lost a year and a half of treatment for MS, where the MRI showed actual brain atrophy. Dr Gonzalez told me to get therapy. No wonder he keeps changing where he practices.
He get 0 stars!
Dr. Gonzalez called me at home at 8pm at home on a Friday night after my EEG results and prescribed me medication that finally cleared my head that no one has been able to figure out. He right away started test after tests when I was about to give up. I have hope again. Thank you!!!! Shonette Johnson

Cold hearted acting!
They change appt time w/out contact! I don't have an extra 1 1/2 hrs to give you!!! The dr couldn't work the laptop to look at my chart then kept trying to tell me I was taking meds that I was not taking. He then decided he would try a new med. I heard him in in hall ask the nurse what do we have samples of? He then brought me 3 pkgs of meds, 3 diff strengths for epteliptic seizures and said see which one works for you. I have never seizures in my life! Didn't take meds & won't go back!
