The staff is rude and incompetent. We had fax a referral to their office and we had to call back to check if it had arrived. On the day of the appointment, 20 days later the staff review the form we had to fill out online and the referral we had fax. Just to tell us that the was not the correct referral. Why didn't they check it the day we sent it and let us know it was the incorrect referral. On top of that the staff member was responding back in a disrespectful way saying that it was the patient's responsibility to provide the proper paperwork. And how would the patient know if you don't bother to review it before giving an appointment and educating the patient. Don't know the Dr. but if that is the staff he has selected it is probably better for another doctor. The staff is rude and incompetent. Dr. Montero and his office staff are terrific. He has such a wonderful bedside manner and takes a lot of time explaining his findings with you, and answers any questions you may have, you will never feel rushed. Before finally finding him, I suffered with horrible jaw pain for years with little to no help by other dr.’s, I am happy to say that I am 6 weeks post op and I can finally say that I feel really good again! Thank you Dr. Montero and your entire office staff. Don’t think twice about seeing him, you will not be sorry!!!

Rude, unhelpful staff. Receptionist hung up on me after a call full of attitude.

This doctor and his staff must be starved for money to send me a statement from a year ago with services that were paid for already. $300+ for this doctor to see me for 5 minutes and tell me what I already knew, steal from my insurance then refuse to operate on me. Now they're asking for more money and for what? His staff is extremely rude and unhelpful, when I called to solve this matter all they said was that I need to pay because the doctor's time is valuable. Well guess what? My time and my money are valuable TOO. Both of which you are trying to steal from me by continuing to pester me about a bill that was paid a year ago. Dr Montero’s professional courtesy has much to be desired. My referring surgeon left a message for him to call back and but he never did. Is it his staff or is it him? Don’t think I will go back.

Dr. Montero and his staff are amazing! Dr. Montero and his surgical coordinator took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and home instructions. They answered all my questions without rushing me. I was crazy enough to schedule my two teenagers for surgery on the same day. They were all so supportive and caring! The Office Manager even called me after hours to check up on us. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Montero. Dr. Montero and his staff are amazing! We had to take our 4 year old daughter for a minor procedure that either required minimal sedation or general anesthesia, depending on whether she was able to cooperate or not, while being minimally sedated. As we choose the minimal sedation approach, it did not proceed without some difficulty and struggle from our daughter although all of Dr. Montero's staff performed in a highly effective and professional manner to make the procedure not only successful, but minimally stressful for both patient and parents. I was very impressed with the skill of Dr. Montero and his anesthesiologist in adapting and overcoming to the fine technical balance required of conducting a procedure on such a small child. I am highly confident that Dr. Montero and his staff are able to provide the best and highest quality treatment to any patient. Thank you Dr. Montero! I am a patient of Dr. Montero’s office. I can confidentially say he has amazing staff that comfort you and he himself is a phenomenal doctor. I am in the process of in the future having double jaw surgery, and at our consultation he was so detailed about how everything would go. I also (today) went I. To have my wisdom teeth removed and I was so nervous (anxiety sufferer) right when I was put in the room they made me feel as if I was home. My experience with the doctor and office staff was extremely positive! Dr. Montero took his time and thoroughly explained the problem I was having and patiently answered all of my questions. All the staff is very professional and, although I was under some very tight time constraints, was able to accommodate me to my fullest satisfaction. Erika’s phone manner is very professional and she has always responded to my queries in a timely manner. It’s not very often that one sees such professionalism in an office.

I can’t recommend Dr. Montero and his team highly enough! Every person at Miami OMS is so great. I travelled across the country to see Dr. Montero for my TMJ, which had left my jaw locked closed for over six months. I knew I wanted a surgeon who could perform the arthroscopic surgery on my jaw joint, and I’m so happy I chose Dr. Montero. From my first consultation, he and his staff made me feel completely comfortable and explained everything so well. They gave me hope that I could finally have a solution to my TMJ pain, after my local doctors had invalidated my pain for months. After my first visit, they squeezed me into their surgery schedule just three weeks later so that I could have the surgery while on winter break from school. The surgery itself and recovery process went so smoothly. I’m now nine weeks post-op, and my jaw mobility is almost to where it was years ago, before my TMJ symptoms started showing. Every other doctor and person I talked to before Dr. Montero warned me not to get jaw surgery because it would be so painful, expensive, and may not even work, but I can’t express how glad I am that I went for it with Miami OMS. It was relatively painless and the results have been incredible. It was well worth the cost—it’s the best decision I’ve ever made for my health and happiness. Dr Montero is an absolutely excellent Oral Surgeon possessing an easy likable bedside manor ! The office runs like a Swiss watch lead by Charmie , and everyone there is beyond helpful as the entire staff treats you like family ! Its always a pleasure being treated there ! Hope you never need an Oral Surgeon , but if you do , look no further , highly recommend this group of professionals.
