My husband and I both go to Dr. Yeager. He has a gentle way of making you feel very comfortable and he explains things very well. He found and treated malignant melanomas on both of us. We are very grateful.

Dr. Josef Yeager MD is a Dermatologist at Shady Grove Dermatology. He is thorough and provides excellent care. I highly recommend this Practice.

Dr. Yeager treated me for a small cyst near my lip. He recommended that it be removed and assured me the incision would definitely not leave a scar. On my second visit he said the scar would take longer to fade. On my third visit he said if it didn't go away a plastic surgeon could eliminate it. On my fourth visit he said I would just have to live with it. On a subsequent visit I pointed out a lesion and asked if it could be cancerous. He said probably not but that it should be cut out. After my last experience I got a second opinion and that dermatologist told me just to apply some cream to it, which I did and it disappeared in four weeks with no scaring. If you have any concerns about your appearance, or value honesty and competence, I would avoid Dr. Yeager.

called for new patient appoint - First question was asked for insured company. I said I'll self pay - I was told we don't accept self paid patients isn't that interesting????

I looked on the internet for doctors who accept medicare, on the medicare website, and the practice of Dr. Yeager came up. I called and some one answered the phone, but when I asked the lady if they accepted medicare she rudely said no and hanged up on me. This was shocking and unacceptable behavior. This practice must remove their name from the Medicare Website if they do not participate any longer and at least be nice to the person calling. This was extremely rude. We absolutely LOVE Dr Yeager and all the other comments posted about him are true. He is knowledgeable and kind, with great bedside manner. However, the front desk staff are disrespectful, incompetent and downright rude. We have had more than one "run in" that has left us feeling like we may want to seek a new office, which is unfortunate. (read the reviews for Shady Grove Dermatology and you will see we aren't the only ones who feel this way). We love you Dr Yeager, but PLEASE get new front desk staff or train them in customer service. We always leave there feeling like we don't matter. Love Dr. Yeager! I have been going to him for years and he is top notch!

Dr Yeager is the best. He's an amazing doctor with the best bedside manner.

Dr. Yeager has great bedside manner and takes the time to answer any questions I have. He kept me calm during the procedure I had done.

Dr. Yeager is very thorough and kind. He is very soft spoken, but quite personable. He answered all my questions fully and calmed any fears I expressed.

Dr. Josef Yeager was absolutely amazing.

Really good dermatologist. Went in for an issue I've had for years and he diagnosed it immediately as seborrheic dermatitis. The cream he prescribed (ketoconazole) took some time to begin working but it is working very well and solving the underlying issue instead of putting a band-aid over it like when I was using hydrocortisone.

Wonderful from entering the office till leaving

I had seen Dr Josef Yeager for a black stripe on my nail. I was afraid it was melanoma. Dr Yeager checked me and put my mind at ease and referred me for a nail biopsy. A few days later he met Dr.Venna, a melanoma specialist at a conference and spoke about my case and asked him if he could see me. The best dermatologist!

Dr. Yeager is the best dermatologist that I have ever seen. He makes his patients feel very comfortable and open about their skin problems. He always have more than one suggestions and cares about each individual situations. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr.Yeagers office is clean, very modern. The staff are very welcoming and are not rude. Dr.Yeager is very gentle and gets to know you as a person as well as a patient. The wait time is not long at all. He also gives samples too. I absolutely love him, whenever I have an issue the product he perscribes me works wonders!

GREAT STAFF, AMAZING DOCTOR! HE HELPED ME WITH ALL OF THE ISSUES I WAS HAVING REGARDING MY SKIN. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER DERMATOLOGIST AS LONG AS HE IS PRACTICING!

I was beyond impressed with my experience at this doctor’s office. My first contact was with Caitlin and Emmy and I was completely blown away by how helpful and kind they were and how fast they got back to me! A lot of doctors don’t realize how important it is to have administration like those girls. The first point of contact is crucial! Now on to the appointment… my appointment ran on time, Dr. Yeager was really knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment! He is probably the nicest person I have ever met, and his daughter Dr. Caroline Yeager (who is also a dermatologist at the practice) was just as wonderful! My children and I have seen Dr. Yeager for many years. He has always been extremely patient with questions, very informative and never rushed us out of the exam room. We all like him very much and will continue to see him when needed.

Excellent care, pays attention to your needs, not rushed. Been our family dermatologist ever since I met him when he was in his residency. Followed him when he went into private practice & we've been with him ever since.
