Mr. Joseph George Shami

Dr Shami is a true Professional. While at the Woodland Park MJ visit the staff forgot to ask me for the Co Payment for my insurance which it was $20.00 . I then received a letter last week that is when I became aware of the amount owed. I then received a call from his office requesting the payment on Friday the 20th Of March and again on today’s date 3/23. On Friday I explained to the female to double check with her office because I always pay the Co-payments. Then today I received another call requesting the $20.00. I believe that I shouldn’t be harassed for $20.00 when we are in a state of emergency omg . If I am being harassed for 20.00 I believe other people are being harassed for more. They should be a little more sympathetic and wait until after the Coronavirus scared and everything is back to normal. No heart at all. Omg. I paid , but I am so disappointed. Will never use his office again.

I saw Dr. Shami at Chilton Hospital on 9/21 and he was wonderful! He is very personable and his bed side manner is fabulous. I would recommend him and the team at GANJ 100 times over,.

Very straightforward and easy to speak to

After a colonoscopy I was groggy when the Dr. spoke to me about my results. I was in pain days after the colonoscopy and called his office to speak to him. I had many questions since I didn’t remember much of our talk. I left 3 messages requesting to speak with the Dr. Not one call back even though I told the staff I was having a lot of pain. He does not take my new insurance so I could not make an appt so I needed to speak to him via phone. Very unprofessional!

He doesn't rush you out. Answers all your questions. A very patient man. His nurses Luda and Duri were very pleasant and made you feel relaxed.

Dr. Shami is an excellent gastroenterologist. He was recommended by my personal Physian and I am very satisfied with him.
