Dr. Joseph Charles Tauro

Dr. Tauro, in my opinion is one of the best surgeons around. I've had both hips replaced and a total reverse shoulder replacement. I couldn't be happier. Not only is he professional in every way, he makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. He answers all your questions and welcomes them. He is very down to earth and I wouldn't recommend anyone else. His staff is also very nice and I've never had a problem with any on them. He gets a 5 star rating from me.

Today I came to this office & kindly I Said to the secretary “YURI ??????? “ hi how are you “ she gave me that look like if I’m crazy.. she was so rude & miserable looking .. she didn’t answer to my “ hi how’re you “ inset she said with an actitud.. “what you need u have appointment? “ I honestly don’t know why some ladies work as a secretary if they hate their job.. she shouldn’t be working there.. here name is YuRi !! Before I left. I said you need manners & she laugh & said bye. Rude & unprofessional secretary.

Dr. Tauro did a total L hip replacement on January 30, 2015. When I saw him for a fu visit in 2 weeks, I was still not walking well. He said I was a "slow healer". Several weeks later, I had my second fu. This time Kay, who says she is a nurse and physical therapist took an x-ray at the office. She said hip was fine and problem was "in my head". I went to a neurologist who diagnosed atrophy in my L thigh. After PT focused on that, I did well. About three months ago symptoms returned--pain in groin. I'm seeing another ortho today. Obviously, I don't recommend Dr. Tauro.

Very happy with my choice to use Dr Tauro for my hip replacement

My experience with Dr.Tauro from beginning to end was superior! From the first visit, he explained his thinking and plan. I followed up with him after PT and MRI and was told surgery for rotator cuff repair was necessary. Office staff helped with the process, and I was prepared for each step of surgery, post op, PT, and visits. Even my physical therapists love working with Dr Tauro because he’s very explicit with his instructions. I knew I was in capable hands and am glad I had the surgery!

Was concerned about having rotator cuff surgery and the end results. Had the surgery in October, was in PT two days later. After two months of PT I had full range of motion back. At three months I was back in the gym with a light workout. At six months, very happy and back to my normal routine. I'd recommend Dr Tauro.

We were referred to Dr. Tauro by another orthopedist due to his expertise in joint replacement surgery. We have already refer patients to Dr. Tauro. He combines expertise with concern and caring. He evidenced a wonderful sense of humor. Of major importance is the fact that he spends the time necessary to put the patient at ease and to fully understand the patient's medical and personal issues. He never "watched the clock" or gave any indication of "time being money."

This poor excuse of a human calls himself a "doctor" but is nothing more than a good fiction writer. He wrote in his "report" that he examined me, the guy hardly said a word to me. In fact his " nurse" said more to me than he did.

I was sent to this "DOCTOR" for an IME .. Through my NEW JERSERY MANUFACTORS insurance company. I thought They were a great company Until THIS "DOCTOR" And I use this term loosely due to he never saw me before was suppose to evaluate me . Never even looked at my MRI and briefly looked at my file. asked me " wow" what kind of car was that" quote unquote. did a 4 Minute I timed it evaluation on my case.. I was put in a what looked like a store room in the back like I was a piece of garbage.

Worst experience I ever had-almost died on the table with anesthesiologist mistake. No compassion. Surgi center is a dump next to a deli. 0 stars I would give this character. Patient Beware !
