Honestly I didn't know what to think of Dr. Thomas when I first met him - I actually walked out during the appointment - But my husband grabbed me to bring me back - Dr Thomas (I thought he was was crude and rude and way too personal) - was trying to get to the truth of the matter - it was simply his way of finding out if I was telling the truth about how much pain I was actually in and how it was affecting my life (keep this in mind if he states something that offends you - it's not personal). I now have been able to work (even with the debilitating pain I've had from injury and MS) for 23 years through a comprehensive treatment plan and appropriate visits with his Pain management Nurse practitioners. I truly have to thank him and all of his staff for their comprehensive continued care. He still works to help - even with the current state of pain management scrutiny - don't be upset with The office regarding insurance issues (lact of coverage for pain related care is everywhere - including hospice!), pharmacy issues - also a problem everywhere (including controlled environments like long term care environments) - yes I know this first hand - I'm a nurse in long term care, don't be offended by drug tests and frequent appointments - they are now the "normal" due to "the narcotics epidemic in America". Again I recommend and thank this pain management medical group for their continued thoughtful and educated expert care. ( No I'm not employed not associated in any way with Dr Thomas) This is just my personal review. - thank you Tami.

Zero stars from me. This so called doctor only cares for himself and his bank account. I had to cancel an appointment due to covid and I did not reschedule because pain was being managed but now I need an appointment however he must be so angry he wasnt paid when I canceled that he now refuses to see me as a patient and did I mention that I am in pain! No compassion and his staff are always rude. I will never recommend anyone go see him. You took an oath! I hope you are happy with yourself!

Worst experience ever Dr Thomas is a quack if you go to him you will be worst off then when you first started going to him

Nightmare worst doctor ever Dr. Thomas & his red headed nurse .I would run as fast as u can before going here there staff are all in on it 2. Don't trust them with any procedure! You will be worse in your years to come or addicted to pain pills.

Don’t recommend this place if your in pain and you can take 6 months of suffering before you get any treatment it probably ok other than that there terrible at call backs very disappointing

Five minute appointments and treats you like a new patient each visit. Must be because of all the people being pushed through. Good luck reaching them by phone. Leave a message...maybe I'll call kinda thing. Over a year of dealing with their confusion and only getting worse.

He has always cared for me like a sister. He worked on Sunday to help more patients. Wish I could find him in practice now.Crissa L

Be careful going to this place they like to charge an outrageous innitial price then say they will not help, I have had my top vertebra removed, every disk in my neck bad, several disks in my back herniated ,bulging or dehydrated my knees need replacing, and he takes the initial payment and tells me to go to a pcp.

Dr Thomas has kept me to be able to walk without a walker for the past 20 years! Chronic back pain and recently shoulder pain due to those crazy nerves being pinched leave me in constant pain; most of it bearable but sometimes it gets soo bad an injection and medication is warranted. And he has never failed me.

It is hard to get in to see him and sometimes you have to wait but it is worth the wait. I love him!

Was a good doctor for my wife

Dr. Thomas is Awesome! He is the best at giving injections. I highly recommend him if you’re in pain. His staff is amazing.

I would recommend Dr.Thomas at Tri-State Pain Institute to anyone who is suffering from any kind of pain he is an amazing Dr he's so thorough and knows exactly what he's doing amazingly gives you an injection exactly where it needs to be there's no pain involved and the relief you feel is amazing if you ever need a doctor to help you with any kind of pain you need to go to dr. Thomas and his staff is very good. I would refer anybody to him

The care and results I receive from Dr. Thomas reaches far beyond my level of expectations and satisfaction. I am always seen in a timely fashion, and always receive excellent care and speedy relief. His wonderful staff also helps to make the process simple, as well as comforting.

I have been a patient of Dr. Thomas for almost 20 years. He is an excellently trained Doctor who really cares. He has never hurt me in all the years he has performed nerve blocks on me for herniated discs I injured in an auto accident. A truly outstanding Doctor who will help your pain situation no matter what it is. He has actually come in on Saturday & Sunday when I needed to see him!

I have been a patient of Dr. Thomas for the last 10 years. He has always brought me relief after having two back surgeries. I would recommend him highly.

He hit nerves during the last injection; which caused paralysis. Emergency surgeries were critical to correct the paralysis and 2 contagious and med resistant staff infections. Staff kept giving me various excuses as to why they would not give me a copy of my medical records.

Dr,.Thomas was my favorite. Doctor. He cares about you as if you were his sister, mother ,daughter or wife. He helped me learn that I cant alleviate all my pain without drugs but Physical Therapy and alternatives can help. He literally saved me from myself. And for this I will always be thankful.

I have been a patient of Dr.Thomas for several years now and he has treated me with respect and kindness. He has listened to everything I have had to say about all of my pain issues and him and I together have come up with the right treatments for me. Most of the staff is really nice but, some of his staff are very rude and have no bedside manners at all. Especially the nurse Jen there. She is very rude and ignorant. Otherwise I have had no problems.
