Joseph J Vanderveen

I am a newer patient of Dr. Vanderveen's (just over a year) and I am so impressed by him and his staff. Dr. Vanderveen is an outstanding physician - he is direct, asks questions, and takes time to listen. His staff is very courteous and professional and I rarely have to wait more than two or three minutes in the waiting room and then, once my vitals are all checked, Dr. Vanderveen is in within just a couple of minutes. They respect my time, which is something I have never experienced with my medical care providers. I highly recommend him.

Rude staff and forgetful Doctor.

Have been a patient for 16 years. Dr. VanderVeen is always academically/scientifically current. I have never been treated rudely nor have I been poorly medically managed nor any one in my family who also see him. I have noted though that if a patient is non-compliant Dr. VanderVeen seems to be evaluated by that patient emotionally rather than by objective evidence. My experience has been totally without incident and feel very fortunate for myself and my family to have him as our physician....especially in this community where we have limited access to devoted qualified research-based physicians.

RUN, DON’T WALK, AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THIS RUDE INCOMPETENT SO-CALLED DOCTOR. I WOULD NOT SEND A SNAKE TO THIS GUY!!!! ZERO STARS.

Very rude, insults you, only wants to hear himself talk. Thinks he is smarter then everyone, and your just a stupid person who does not know their own body and what's going on. No respect for his patients. He is a disgrace to the medical field.

Many years ago, Dr. Vander Veen saved my life. He was always kind and his treatments successful. I have been in Ohio for over 11 years now and miss him and his staff.

Over the years, he has been my PCP, and I have done my best to overlook his temper and poor bedside manner. He has helped me to some extent with his knowledge. But my last appointment was the last straw, he was just outright rude and unbearable during a time when I was struggling with an extreme illness. To such an extent that I have changed doctors. When you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, or for any reason for that matter, you deserve to be treated kindly by your doctor.

Very direct and to the point. Sometimes give a very blunt answer, and very truthful. My personality accepts to the point description and possible remedy to any condition. If it?s out of his expertise ? he happy to refer you.
