Dr Walrath performed upper and lower lid surgery and a brow lift on me. He and his entire team were great and the outcome was fantastic. I would highly recommend Dr Walrath to anyone without hesitation.

Fantastic surgeon and team. Can’t say enough great things about him. Fixed some longstanding problems related to childhood athletic injuries that were not totally corrected by earlier surgeries. I know it sounds hard to believe, but my vision improved and it resulted in a lower golf score, especially in putting. No hassles, no surprises, except for the great outcome. Really a specialist!

Dr Walrath has a way of putting his patients at ease with humor and confidence. My eye lift surgery was necessary due to experiencing vision problems, so it was covered by Medicare. He, along with his staff, was reassuring and efficient throughout the entire procedure. He put me at ease from the first visit through the 3-month follow-up visit. made what was a stressful event, for me, comfortable and secure. so happy with how much more i can see- husband happy with result too! i feel and look much better, so pleased with a natural look--been told i look great, rested --- no one can "tell" i have had "obvious" "eye job".. Dr Walrath was informative, sensitive to what my concerns were, made me feel i could call any time with any question or concern. Before deciding on a doctor to perform upper and lower blepharoplasty, I had done so much research. I live in the middle GA area, and my insurance inquired why I would go 2 hours away to get the surgery. This surgery is so important because this is your face (eyes). Dr. Walrath is amazing! I am so happy with the results. I was very nervous, but Dr. Walrath answered all my weird questions that I had even before the surgery date. I would recommend him 100%. When you are getting blepharoplasty, you want to make sure it's a doctor that knows EYES, not just a regular plastic surgeon that might give you a facelift

As a retired nurse, I've seen a fair number of doctors in my life, some as a nurse some as a patient. First let me say, a doctor is your choice not your insurance companies, yes you have to work within the confines of those accepting your insurance but seek out the best you can. For me Dr Walrath was exactly that. It starts with the efficiency of his office and staff, all of whom are knowledgeable and gets the job done. I never waited more than 5-7 minutes except once and that was because of a language barrier with a patient. Next, Dr. Walrath's knowledge is exceptional and he speaks to you like a person and explains things in detail, no question from you the patient is unacceptable to him. His skills are exceptional and to put the icing on the cake his bedside manner and sense of humor are wonderful I would absolutely recommend him to my close family and friends. I would highly recommend Dr. Walrath and his team for your eye surgery needs. I was very impressed with his knowledge on where he could make adjustments to my upper and lower lids. He was very honest about where he was not sure it would work. He was extremely personable and checked in with me personally before the surgery, and then when I had questions I would contact him and he would call me back in a very short time span. The final product is amazing. I have had people notice from across the room how refreshed I look and really the only change was Dr. Walrath's great work. I have recommended him to everyone who asked. Friendly staff. My first appointment was quick, surprisingly. I went in for a chalazion excision and Dr. Walrath was done in 10 minutes. He is funny, comforting and personable. I felt at ease during the whole process.

Dr Walrath is amazing! I had upper bleph with him a couple months ago, love my results! Some key takeaways for me: 1) during the consultation, he was extremely thorough, listened to my concerns and addressed every one of them, confidently. Additionally, he won't sell you a procedure you don't need and he's realistic about attainable results. 2) During the procedure, which was my first under local anesthesia, he was calming and reassuring. I was very nervous and he truly made it a pleasant experience. 3) After the procedure, he called himself the next day to check on me and not only did he allow me to ask any questions, he asked his own to make sure things were going okay. I had a cyst removed from my eyelid, and was in and out in 30 minutes. It is the day after, and I have no pain. Most doctors have you come for consultation, come back for the procedure, and return for a check up; in the interest of time (and copays), I have a great appreciation for one and done!

Worst office staff I have ever dealt with. Very rude and disrespectful and inconsiderate of their patients. I would never recommend them to anyone despite his capabilities due to his staff.

Dr. Walrath performed eye lid surgery on my Mom and made her very comfortable before surgery and during surgery and performed excellent after care by calling her the day after surgery and his office called the third day after surgery and then he called again a week later and she is very pleased.

Dr. Walrath is an amazing doctor. Not only is he friendly and courteous, he also informs you every step of the way. He and his staff are very patient. They understand the anxiety that comes with surgery, and they accommodate you. I went to Dr. Walrath for eye surgery needed due to a rare genetic disease, and he was knowledgeable about it, although I had met with several other doctors who were unaware of the disease. Several of my relatives and family have had similar eye surgery, and I can say with 100% accuracy that they did not have similar results. They did not have the outcome that comes only with a very skilled surgeon that Dr. Walrath can achieve, and in some of their cases, there was almost no change at all in their eyesight or appearance. My Optometrist referred me to Dr. Walrath for a consultation regarding my upper eyelids. They had become “heavy” feeling and felt like my eyes were partially closed. He performed Blepharoplasty and I am very pleased. The outpatient procedure went very smoothly. Everyone that I encountered at the Woolfson Eye Institute was very helpful and informative. Dr. Walrath called me on the following day after the procedure to follow up on how I was feeling and to answer any questions that I may have had. Earlier today I had a telemedicine visit with him and he said that everything was looking good and he emphasized that if I had any questions or concerns in the future to not hesitate calling him. Had sagging upper eye lid. Was referred from my optometrist. Upon consultation, Dr. Walrath conducted a test and explained a simple procedure to lift eyelid for correction. Surgery was schedule at my availability. A quick and easy 10 min surgery fixed my problem. Virtually pain free and minimal swelling and bruising. After a disastrous eyelift in Florida, I googled all my complaints and the internet came up with this guy. I drove the 400 miles to see him. He really listened. I was so impressed, I booked a revision with him, drove home and then drove back for the surgery. I'm so glad I did! I couldn't be happier. I don't cry anymore when I look in the mirror. Save yourself the drama and just go to this guy in the first place. Even in a 10X magnification mirror, you can't even tell I have a scar. Miraculous! Flawless work.

The results of the surgery were exactly as explained and expected. Dr Walrath and all of his staff, in the clinic and at the hospital, were all wonderful.

I am so greatful for Dr Walrath. I had been through multiple eye surgeries that continued to leave me with a lazy eye. I would have it fixed again and again (so expensive) but within a few months I was back where I started and so disappointed. Dr Walrath took a completely different approach...He listened to and addresses all of my concerns and I could not be more pleased with the my results. Though I think the other surgeons I had visited were very competant, their specialties were broad and not focused completely on the eyes. Thank you Dr. Walrath for giving me the confidence to pose for picruess again with my family and friends. I had been avoiding cameras for almost 3 years.
