Horrible! They say call your doctor if you are sick. These so called things won't answer the phone and the voice mail is full including the nurse extension and you have to really have luck for them to follow through on anything they say they are going to do while you are suffering sick! They refer you to specialist that don't take your insurance and waste time. The specialist who don't take your insurance ignore you rather than tell you. The whole system is so sickening and the government could care less!

I wasn’t sure Dr. Reams could live up to the great reviews I read but in fact he was even better than those reviews. I’m so thankful I found him.

This one black lady told me the wrong day of my appointment. I had to go twice wasting my time. Reams is a bumpkin know very little. He got up while I was talking to him and left the room. That was my appointment. He doesn't care about my concerns only getting money for appointments. The office staff are intentionally blocking healthcare. They don't answer the phone and are cruel in attitude and energy to do anything! Especially Susan is the worst!

This used to be a good operation but now it has gone to heck and a hand basket-and this is well after the pandemic! First of all they are back in 1860 and don’t have email. Most of my other docs do and routine matters are taken care of easily. Worst they NEVER answer the phones! What business could be in business long if they never answered the phone? So we have to leave a voicemail which they never usually return during the day - if ever. Then they ask for more info and around and around we go. The days go into weeks! Then it seems they don’t understand how to code the transactions which the insurance company uses to approve or deny. I recently took me well over a week to get some badly needed meds and that was with a kind and knowledge pharmacist patiently working with the insurance company to correct the medical office’s coding errors! Beware! Document everything in dealing with this office since it is so critical.

I think Dr.Reams is a wonderful doctor, he explains everything to me, He goes above and beyond for me and his Staff ate very out going also

Dr.Reams is So kind and he listens to everything you have to say and he will go the extra mile go figure out the problem. He is very on point. He cares about his patients. It took me years to find a good no GREAT Doctor. Before I finally found him a few years ago. I prayed to find a Doctor with his character. And when I went to the office the stuff was so nice. The nurse Mary that’s been there for years she so kind and nice. Yeah of course there are a couple of bad apples here and there. But when you are wanting a GREAT DOCTOR and a SUPER NURSE then this is the place you want to be. And if your having issues with other staff speak to him and pray about it. It sure works for me.????????

Love my doctor but the lady at the front desk is so rude every time I call. I literally get anxiety when I call the office because I’m afraid she’s going to answer and shut me down immediately. She interrupts me with condescending comments anytime I call with a question/concern. This is by far my favorite office and I couldn’t ask for a better doctor but speaking with her when I call almost makes it not worth it.

Great doctor and staff listens to you and cares

I am a retired family nurse practitioner. My husband is a retired internal medicine physician. We are both well pleased with the care Dr. Reams provides us. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and caring. He answers calls and request for pharmacy refills in a timely manner. He takes care of the bulk of all our health care needs including minor surgery such as biopsies and freezing benign growths. He works with us for referrals for tests he does not personally provide. His office is clean and conveniently located. His staff is polite and helpful. We feel fortunate to have Dr. Reams as our personal physician. Steve and Barbara Austin

Dr. Reams, always listen to my medical concerns. He explains his medical treatment and prescription prescribed. I would recommend him as your primary doctor.

I would give 1 star if I could. I demanded for over two weeks for someone higher up to call me, instead they had dr. Reams call me (which is who my complaint was about) DO NOT GO HERE! I’m working with an attorney to solidify a case. All they had to do was call me back and work with me and they refused.

Appointment scheduler was very rude. I called and got squeezed in for a last minute opening the next day. I live only 1 mile from their office, so as I was preparing to head out 20 min before my appointment I received a call from front office saying I was supposed to be there 30 min before my appointment to fill out paperwork since I didn't do it online". I explained I would've been happy to do it online but I didn't know I could. She said very matter of factly "You got a text message with instructions, I don't know what it says but you were supposed to click the link". Ummm, ok, so I checked my text messages- yeah I got it 30 minutes before that at 730am. So, I guess because I wasn't awake at 730am to fill out forms online, I'm at fault for not getting there 30 minutes early? Probably should've sent the text the day before- that would've been helpful. Or maybe even told me when I booked the appointment to be on the lookout for a text to fill out forms. So then she said, well, we will have to reschedule you because you're supposed to be ready at 830 when the doctor gets here and now you won't have enough time. I decided to give Dr. Reams a try after my insurance provider switched me from my regular PCP to him without my knowledge. I also heard so many rave reviews about him that I thought I was sure to have a great experience. I was wrong. When I called to make my initial appointment, the wait to see the doctor was literally 9 months. So, I reluctantly took an appointment with “Cinda” the NP, which was “only” a 4 month wait. Good thing I didn’t have a medical emergency! When the appointment day finally arrived, I was shocked that there was only one other patient in the waiting room. Why the ridiculously long wait times when the office was empty? The woman at the desk was not very pleasant, and when I saw Cinda, I found her to be very unknowledgeable and condescending. I had been researching an issue I had for months, and she informed me “not to believe everything I read on the internet”. Without going into detail, I would suggest that she go back to school and increase her medical knowledge as she was wrong with her medical advise and I almost had to argue with her to get the blood work that I needed. She acted like I was some idiot who believes everything on the internet, when in fact, I knew more than her about my issue! I recently had to make another emergency appointment with her, again Dr. Reams was unavailable, and when I arrived there I was told that my appointment was not for that day, and I had missed it. I was also told that I couldn’t reschedule right then, I would have to call back and they couldn’t see me. Again, when I looked around, there was not another soul in the waiting room. I told the rude front office lady to forget it, walked out and immediately called my insurance company and switched back to my old PCP, who I never should’ve switched from in the first place!

So upset with this office...I have kidney stones and went in to get seen. First words out of her mouth were "we are not a walkin clinic". I told her I knew that but am a patient of Dr. Reams. Then asked when last time I saw him...I thought maybe a year...she said No...had to be more than that as they have no new record of my visits. I can't help it if I don't get sick a lot. This is a Monday and won't see me until Thursday. Went to a health clinic on Thursday but only gave me enough medicine to last until Monday when I could see my regular doctor. A lot of good that does me now. Will be finding another family physician as this office staff is not very nice or caring. I like Dr. Reams but if I can't see him he can't fix my problems. So sad. Dr. Reams and his staff are excellent!!! We’ve been going to Dr. Reams for 6 years now and will never change our family doctor. He truly listens to you and takes time with you during each appointment...he’s extremely thorough and excellent at diagnosing your condition. Recently I got Covid and called for a virtual appointment with him. It was scheduled the same day and he prescribed great therapeutic medications to lessen my symptoms and keep me from getting extremely ill. It was a miraculous recovery for me and I only felt ill for 2 days and improved quickly. His staff is also excellent, very nice and professional and respond quickly. I highly recommend Dr. Reams for your family doctor!!

Have been going to Dr. Reams several years now. Seems competent as I have had no read issues so I would grade as good. The problem with this office is with follow by staff. You call and are guaranteed voice mail with follow-up next day, if at all. If you stop by Toby is ever out at reception and when someone does appear you are treated rudely. Looking now for another doctor.

Don't go there. This office will not provide timely transfer of medical records. For two months at least they rerouted all calls to the answering service and have not replied to multiple requests, even from other physicians offices. Do not recommend.

After having requested patient EMR to be sent to patient's new provider, both by family and the patient's new primary provider, no records have been sent. This was a month ago. The patient cannot get proper care without the new physician having access to her records. Health is declining with no background of previous treatments or conditions. Do not recommend.

Dr Reams is very caring professional in my career as a nurse for many years I have worked with lots Doctors I must say my first visit I was very impressed with care I received from Dr. Reams and his staff if you want to know who a good Doctor is ask nurse. I can truly say Dr. Reams would be a great choice if you are in need of a great Doctor

Dr Reams is the best! Takes his time to listen to you and figure out how he can help you. I agree with the previous comment about some of the staff is not to friendly. Also it’s hard to get through to anyone on the phone ( this has happened numerous times).

Dr.Reams is an amazing doctor. His expertise and intelligence in diagnosing your heath is outstanding. He spends time to know his patients and really cares! This office has canx my appts without follow-up or return calls -- 3x in 6mos. 1st time caused my med ran out by few days as was due for renewal, they didn't seem to care! Doc is good but you can't seem to get in to see him, after this recent canx just found another doc with good reviews and staff answers the phone.

Dr. Reames himself seems to be a very nice man. Is office staff however changes every few weeks and seem totally disinterested. I've had multiple issues getting prescriptions filled and communicating through them to Doctor Reames. Being in a healthcare profession myself and trying to treat patients as if I cared about them I'm very concerned about this. This seems to be a profitable organization and yet I do not seem to have a system which encourages communication and caring for patients. I'm very disappointed and I'm looking for a different doctor.

Dr Joshua is the best Dr I have seen in Florida. He is friendly, calm, and very intelligent. You will trust him and enjoy seeing him. I highly recommend him in Panama City Beach! I am very thankful to have found him. He truly listens to you.

Fantastic in listening, allowing questions and not “rushing” out the door. So glad to have found him for a primary care physician. When needed I am provided all the time needed—so know that if I am waiting more than ten minutes it is because someone else is getting attention they and I need.

I lost my first review so if this is a duplicate I'm sorry. I recently moved to PCB and Dr. Reams' office was recommended to me from a friend. I called and made an appointment for the earliest time well it was several weeks before they could see me and that I was going to see the PA which is fine I just wanted to establish a primary care Doctor. My appointment was today May 29, I was called yesterday to confirm my appointment which was set for 130pm. I figured I would need to fill out some paperwork because nothing there is electronic (2019???) so I arrived at 115pm. I filled out roughly 8 pages in less than ten minutes, then i waited in the waiting room to be called. at 2:15pm I approached the desk and advised Melissa that I had been waiting for an hour already and she advised me that my appointment was not until 200pm . I indicated to her that I was told it was at 130pm, and she told me that was to fill out paperwork, so me coining in earlier than 130 to fill out the paperwork was for nothing. I advised Melissa I wanted to retract all my paperwork and find another Doctor if the wait times were going to be like this all the time. Melissa checked in the back and Debbie advised her that I was next so I agreed to wait as i was approaching a chair to wait again Debbie opened the door with a folder in her hand a called another patient so I said I thought I was next. Debbie very rudely and embarrassing said in a disgruntled voice I'M THE ONLY ONE HERE! , that right there sealed my fate at that DR's office. I was in desperate need of a new Primary Care Manager as my previous referral to my specialist had expired. Those who have Tricare understand the sense of urgency! I live on PC Beach and to find a physician that is accepting new patients is next to impossible! Dr Reams Staff, Jana and Brenda are courteous and efficient. Dr Reams demeanor is soothing and calm. Great Doctor, Horrible Office! My wife and I went to what we thought was a Sacred Heart Medical Group Office for our initial visit. First off, we were lied to about when our appointment was to start, told an hour earlier than it was to complete medical forms. (My time is valuable as well, could you not email them ahead of time?) Then we met with Doctor Reams, and we were very, very impressed with him; including his advice, manner and the amount of time we spend with him. We paid the $25 copay for my wife (my Medicare Plus had none) before we left. Three days later (yes, three days later), my wife started receiving phones calls from a Bay Medical Group phone number in Tennessee wanting a $25 payment for the visit! First off, we had no idea whom they were, we had visited a Sacred Heart physician, so considered it a scam. About 7 days later we got an invoice for $25 that showed us that Dr. Reams is actually with Bay Medical Group, so just maybe the call was legit. Now four phone calls later, we are still getting harassing phone calls from Tennessee for the $25 co-pay which we have already paid! My wife made a phone call to the office a few weeks later wanting to make an appointment. No staff answered even at 10 a.m., stating to leave a message. I recently transferred and moved from Texas to Florida and Dr. Reams was recommended to me. As a new patient, I set an appointment and found that Dr. Reams was thorough and informative, he also put a special emphasis on caring and resolving problems. I am so pleased! Do not go to this walk-in clinic "Dr Reams" if care for yours, family or friends health. Went there with lesion in mouth, treated with silver nitrate, wrong diagnosis!!! Called repeatedly for follow up would not return my call due to worsening of lesion! Went to a dentist, he immediately made an appointment the next "day" with an oral surgeon whom removed the lesion that day and sent to a lab. Waiting now to see if benign,!!! This dude, not doctor is a travesty to the health care system!!! Follow-up: It turns out that "I had thrush"! This dude put me through hell with his diagnosis. He would not return my repeated calls as condition continued to get worse. That office visit cost my insurance and I $930.00 and just got another bill from them for and additional $38.00.
