Dr. Juan Carlos Suarez

Dr. Suárez performed bilateral hip replacement on 2/2/2023. My quality of life has improved by 110%. My recovery was very quick with minimal pain/discomfort. It was a pleasure working with Dr. Suarez and his team. I would recommend Dr. Suarez without hesitation.

Dr. Suarez initially did hip revision / replacement surgery on left hip in 2020. I had suffered for several years after my initial hip surgery which was done by a very well know surgeon at a large NYC hospital. The revision was a great success and gave me back significant mobility. In January of 2022 Dr. Suarez replaced my right hip, surgery started around 10am and I left the hospital around 3pm. In both surgeries I had no pain and no issues. I am now 7 weeks post op and feeling great, I haven't had this much mobility and flexibility in 25 years. I feel vibrant and younger. Dr. Suarez is an outstanding surgeon and his staff is equally outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. Suarez and his team.

Dr. Suarez perform left hip replacement surgery outpatient on January 12, 2022, my surgery commenced at 1:30 in the afternoon and I was home sitting in my living room by 8 PM. Is that fantastic? When I saw Dr. Suarez on my six week appointment, I mentioned to him what a fantastic team he has, not only is Dr. Suarez, highly qualified, his nurses were calling me every week to see how I was doing , checking if I was in pain and what medication’s I was still on. The physical therapy that I received the day after surgery was fantastic, the supervisor Marge and the technician Evelio were very professional, and knew from experience what I was feeling in my recovery. I cannot say anything but what professional and fantastic job they performed. The entire Dr. Suarez team is “10” ????????????

When I met Dr Suarez I was in a lot of pain with both of my knees. He was honest and told me that I would eventually need surgery on both. Dr Suarez did a partial knee replacement on my left knee and total replacement on my right knee on Dec 20th 2022. He was patient and explained everything, and answered my questions honestly. His staff is very friendly. His surgery coordinator Miss MJ, and Miss Becca were both exceptional. I had to call her a couple of times prior to surgery and she was very helpful and never made me feel like I as bothering her. PA Niccolo Restivo met me for follow up was very pleasant and funny. I would definitely recommend Dr Suarez. I must say I do hope I don’t see him anymore as I pray I won’t need any more surgeries . Thank you all so much

Outstanding Results. Did the PT before surgery and, of course, afterward. The surgery went off with any problem. I am 7 1/2 weeks out and played my first round of golf today! My PT group says that "He is the best". Thank you Dr. Suarez

Besides being an excellent surgeon, he is very caring and professional. After my surgery, I was in a lot of pain, and the nurse gave me a pain killer that made me very sick, so the hospital staff located Dr. Suarez, who was at the gym, and in a matter of minutes he was at my bedside in his gym clothes, taking care of me. I am forever grateful of his kindness and caring.

Absolutely and amazing experience, my dad could not walk with a R hip pain, we went to see Dr Suarez and his manners and care for the patient was absolutely unbailable, after many years with this pain, on one visit Dr Suarez was able to diagnosed him with necrosis of the hip. Dr. Suarez operated on my knee and just recently on my hip. He is a very precise, careful and thoughtful doctor.

Dr Suarez is a very credentialed and experienced orthopedic surgeon. He performed a complete hip replacement for me and the recovery was uneventful and remarkably fast. He and his staff were efficient and caring well beyond what I have experienced in the past with other groups. I highly recommend him for hip or knee replacement.

Only stay with me 10 minutes not much communication. Never tell me about my left knee only that I will have high risk of infection for another surgery that to see the next day another doctor to see hiis opinion the same only 5 minutes with me the same they not even talk about my patella baja they horrible

Dr. Suarez is a skilled surgeon that uses the latest techniques in total knee replacement. I researched Dr. Suarez and found that he was skilled and had a very low rate of complications compared to others. I had my knee replacement as an outpatient at Doctors Hospital which was excellent. Follow up with Dr. Suarez was easy and both preoperatively and postoperatively he gave me time during the visit and answered all of my questions with detail. My recovery was much quicker than I expected and I attribute this to his skill. I highly recommend Dr. Suarez for anyone undergoing total knee replacement.

I did a TKR on Sept. 30, 2021 with Dr. Suarez. After 2 weeks I was walking without a crutch. After 6 weeks I have excellent extension and flexion. The knee feels like my own which was always a concern. I am more than satisfied with the outcome of the surgery. I did a lot of research before choosing a surgeon. I was ultimately recommended Dr. Suarez by a an orthopedic back surgeon friend of mine. I highly recommend Dr. Suarez.

Was a bit doubtful, but oh Wow!!! Everyone so nice, helpful and professional! 5 weeks and walking great without even a slight limp! Will not hesitate if I ever need to have another urgery. Thank you so much to all the team!

My visits with Dr. Suarez and his assistants were great. They are very encouraging and even though I went very decisive in what I thought I wanted done he gave me the right advise as to what he knew that I needed. Dr. Suarez is actually the best and I recommend him highly.

Dr. Suarez performed a total hip replacement of my left hip in early September. Everything went exactly has he said it would go. I was in extreme pain prior to surgery, pain was gone once I up after surgery. It has never returned. I was up walking 2 hours after surgery and released the same day to go home. I followed his instructions, used a walker for first 5 days then moved to a walking stick and 7 weeks later I'm walking about 1.5 - 1.7 miles a day with my morning walk being the longest at about .65 of a mile. I'm still carrying the walking stick with me but only use it when on uneven ground. I never needed or used any pain medicine. I would highly recommend Dr. Suarez, I have several friends that have used him and they all had the same experience. His office staff is of the same caliber, they are great and very professional. His Surgical Coordinator Maria Ortega was and is a blessing to me. I can't say enough about her. Thank you Dr. Suarez and team!

Great staff in the Dr Hospital in Coral Gable. I had my surgery with Dr Suarez, and I am walking without problem. Dr Suárez and his staff very friendly and profesional.

Dr. Suarez did bilateral hip replacement on me in 2016. He was at a different practice/hospital then. I cannot recommend him more highly. He was compassionate and highly skilled. The hospital I was in at the time wanted to move me to a nursing home but he and I both thought one more night in the hospital was all I needed to be able to go home. He fought for me and we were right. Before my surgery, I was bedridden for months. There was significant muscle degeneration. Within a month after surgery, I was in heels, no walker or cane, and out to dinner for my birthday. I have Dr. Suarez and his team to thank. I am so glad I listened to my gut and changed surgeons. Dr. Suarez did a fantastic job on my Knee replacement. He is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He listens very well to all your questions and answers you respectably. Whatever treatment you both agree on your in excellent hands. Another very critical part of his success is due to his team. They work together and return your calls and get paperwork back to you in a timely manner.
