Dr. Julie A Komarow

I have seen her when my PCP could not get me in for immediate concerns. She was very caring and patient and took time to understand my issues. I left feeling like I had been well cared for. I have referred her to others.

Saw Dr. Komarow back in 2013 and it was the worst experience of my life. I had recently moved to Bonney Lake and was looking for a good family doctor. She proceeded to make baseless diagnoses and by the end of my visit she tried to change my rountie meds and added 9 new meds. Of course I never went back and found a amazing doctor that truly knows what he is talking about and treats me with respect. We have a doctor patient relationship where I am able to have a say in my care. This was definitely NOT the experience with Komarow. Highly DO NOT recommend her.

She’s the best doctor I’ve ever had! She’s kind, compassionate, attentive and direct. I’ve been her patient for almost 15 years. Every time I visit her, I walk away with sound advice and recommendations. I leave feeling heard and valued. It will be a sad day when she retires. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Treated my mother in law horrible. Very demeaning, and has an attitude towards her patients.

“Dr.” Komarow saw my wife recently and aside from not only managing to avoid helping her with any other issues she made the appointment for, she also managed to insult, diminish, and preach about a variety of topics that had no reason being discussed. She accused my wife of being sexually assaulted on multiple occasions (false), being lazy with her own self-care (false), ruining our marriage (false) and a variety of other incredibly unprofessional and holier-than-thou mischaracterizations . If you feel like being shamed and belittled by a someone shouting down at you how you should be living your life before cutting an appointment short, by all means, see “Dr.” Komarow.

Would not recommend.

I love Sound Family Medicine. Every provider I've seen, until today has been kind, welcoming and knowledgable. Unfortunately, my teen daughter and I did not have a positive experience with this provider.

Dr. Julie Komarow MD sucks! Feels free to waste a patient's time! Treated her patient badly! Talked about her patient outside of her room. Awful old bitty. Too bad you cannot leave fewer than 1 star! She treats patients so badly, she has openings on her schedule, Do not let them schedule you with her!

Dr Komarow is the best Dr I've ever found. The first doctor to not make me feel rushed during my appointment. She spends quality time with me and my family at every appointment. She genuinely cares about her patients and it shows! I'm only sad I didn't find her so many years ago. Sometimes you may have to wait for a while to be seen but that is ONLY because she is spending that needed, quality time with her other patients, so it is very worth it! For a while I didn't have insurance that covered this office, but I paid out of pocket just so I wouldn't lose her. Her and her staff have a way of making you feel like a valued friend. Awesome doctor! Only downside is difficulty scheduling appointments and she doesn't do Fridays...

I got an IUD put in back in January by her... not to long after that I found out I was pregnant. 3 days after I found out I was pregnant I was seen by another doctor (not her because they wouldn't return any of my phone calls) and the doctor who took the IUD out said he thinks it wasn't even placed right to begin with..

I’d rather give no stars at all. We seen her for my daughters well child check and school sports physical. She made my 11 yr old daughter cry and made judgements about my 4 yr old son who wasn’t being seen. She really needs to learn how to speak to people in a professional manner. My daughter doesn’t ever want to see her again. Thankfully she isn’t my regular Dr and I will make sure we never get scheduled with her again. I’d rather give no stars at all. Dr Komarow is attentive, easy manned and provides very good medical information. After 28 years with another provider, the ADA, forced me to locate a new PCP in the county I live in. I’ve only been going to Dr Komarow for 1 1/2 years now but feel I can speak with her on any of the medical issues I may have. I’m thankful I’ve found a PCP that’s had my best interest in her practice with me. Dr Komarow is attentive, easy manned and provides very good medical information. She rushed me through the appointment and insisted that she knew the answers to the questions she was asking. She did not give me time to answer and seemed surprised when my answer didn't align with what she thought it should be. My mammogram dr recommended that I take a particular test and she insisted that he was not a real dr only trying to make $ for himself. She thought he made the test and was profiting from it. She couldn't have been further from the truth but she wouldn't listen at all. Arrogant and terrible bedside manners.

She has a terrible bedside manor & essentially tells her patients things are in their heads. Does not listen & is not interested in helping find solutions. Stay far away!

Dr. Komarow is nothing less than a walking miracle. She listens patiently, is kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable on the latest research results. When I received my positive diagnosis for breast cancer, literally, within a few minutes, she provided the name and phone number for an excellent oncologist, surgeon, etc. Because SFM no longer sees patients who are on medicare, even if secondary, it breaks my heart. Dr Komarow is attentive, caring and all in all a very good PCP! After 28 years with another doctor, the ACA, forced me to find another pcp in the county I live in. I researched several general practitioners and after visiting with Dr Komarow, I made up my mind. I give Dr Komarow 4 stars because I’ve only been being treated by her for 1 1/2 years. I’m sure she’ll be a great doctor for anyone needing a new PCP.

Worst experience with a dr!! I could go on and on, horrendous wait times, horrible advice for my newborn, then she messed up my sons circumcision and he had to get 10 stitches!! After sharing my experience I heard multiple stories of how rude she was and gave constant bad advice. Stay away!!

Dr. Komarow treats the whole body and takes the time to understand what is going on. She is very intuitive and addresses things that you may not even be fully aware need addressing! I highly recommend her.

I feel like this woman saved my life. After a traumatic 2nd trimester miscarriage my OB office was not providing follow up care. I saw Dr Komarow and she stepped in and took care of me. Fought the ER staff on my behalf. Called me multiple times after hours for follow up. Worth the drive to Bonney Lake to see her. I will forever be in debt to her for dealing with me during such an agonizing time. She will certainly be my new Primary Care doctor. She was incredibly kind and went above and beyond
