Will be recommending Dr. Julie to all my friends. She was down to earth and easy to communicate with. Will be going back to her every year from now on.

I was a patient if Dr. Mermilliod for over a year. Dr. Mermilliod makes you feel like she doesn't have time to answer your questions and hear your concerns about your skin. I left there feeling like I had been kicked out.

Dr. Mermilliod is my daughter’s dermatologist and she does excellent work. After struggling with acne for years my daughter (Emma) finally has clear skin and loves it. Thanks, Dr. Julie

I was looking for a dermatologist, after speaking with several people was told she is the best! You're in good hands with her. At my appointment found a very professional doctor! She is very thorough, listened attentively, to what I had to say! Very nice visit.

Dr. Mermilliod is fabulous! She combines expertise with a personable bedside manner. She explains everything in terminology that patients can understand and answers all questions fully. I have recommended her to family members and they love and respect her as much as I do.

Dr. Mermilliod gets you in quickly, does a thorough job and still takes time to make you feel valued and cared for.

Dr. Mermilliod and her nurse are very professional. They had a thorough comprehension of my medical history. They listened to my concerns and answered everything satisfactorily. My exam and procedures were explained so there were no surprises. Punctual.

This was my first visit with Dr Mermilliod. I found her to be super nice, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She even gave me information about a dermatological worry I had for my child. Easy to talk to. I am super happy to have found a doctor I trust and will be going back with any other concerns. I highly recommend her!

My visit was terrible. It felt like she was very dismissive of my concerns with a skin condition that I’ve lived with for a while and which really affects my lifestyle. It just felt like she wanted to get me out of the room. I walked out basically feeling like we accomplished nothing with solving my problem. Waste of money to see her. Don’t bother making an appointment. Her advice is just as good as Googling your skin condition.

Although my appointment was rescheduled, Dr Mermilliod and her staff were prompt and professional. My concerns were addressed and a plan was made for my problem.

I did not have a good office visit with Dr. Mermilliod. I found her to be quite rude . She was very unconcern about what I was trying to discuss with her . I was also rushed out of the office ; my visit was barely 15 mins.... Very disappointing

My experience with this doctor was a complete nightmare from the moment she walked into the room. When she walked in, I immediately felt a coldness in the room from the way she abruptly introduced herself and spoke to me as if she started a stopwatch. She is very condescending and speaks to you like a child. I made this appointment a few months in advance. I had a sunspot that started scabbing this year but by the time I had gone for my appointment, it was not scabbing that day. She was very rude and dismissive, speaking to me as if I was overreacting over a sunspot. I asked her if a sunspot were to scab, was that something to be concerned over. She said she wouldn’t know because I did not have that issue, therefore she couldn’t do a biopsy. She told me to make another appointment if it scabbed again and I asked her what if I have the same issue where I had to wait and by the time I saw her again, the scab wouldn’t be there. Again, in her rude tone, she said she couldn’t do anything for me. I told her how uncomfortable she made me feel and she replied “Not all personalities click”. Wait, are you seriously a doctor? Was I in the twilight zone? Who says that to their patient? I spoke with the nurse after the visit and she was not surprised, nor was the receptionist when I asked for someone I can speak to. I got on the phone with a manager and soon found out that she was the chair of dermatology. Very shocking to see that a person like her is paid to ruin people’s day and waste their time and money. Please do yourself a favor and find a dermatologist that wants to help find a solution to your problem instead of making you feel rushed and mistreated. It was a positive visit and I would recommend this doctor and this medical facility at any time.

I think that Dr. Mermilliod is an outstanding dermatologist. I had been itching like crazy for several months with eczema. I had seen several different dermatologist with minimal relief. Finally, I was referred to Dr. Mermilliod and she determined that I was allergic to the ingredients in the medication. She came up with a way to use the medication in another form. She is very condescending and dismissive. She only cares about getting you in and out. She doesn't research new treatment alternatives. The last straw for me was when I had to go on Medicaid after the pandemic and was told that she could no longer see me as a patient. That was the confirmation that I needed to let me know that there's a much better choice out there for me when it comes to my dermatological "care". Mermilliod definitely doesn't really care.

so glad I am by far the only one who thinks she only rtes a 1 star. In her own little pea brain she wants you to think she is GOD and she will heal you no matter what you have . She is a quack . Please don't waste her time because she told my husband and I she only has 10 mins for each patient.I had to see her twice but there will never be a 3rd time . My own doctor told me she must have let her doctor degree go to her head ... LOL LOL yes only in her head. Glad to see she has so many 1 stars......... PLEASE DON'T WASTE HER TIME REALLY . Dr. Julie has been a total godsend to my son who has suffered with the most severe eczema since he was a toddler. Not only is she the most compassionate doctor I’ve ever encountered, but she has become the biggest advocate for my son, and completely instrumental in getting his very important medication approved, that will completely change his life for the better. I am so incredibly grateful for her. I wish there were stars to give her.

Ochsner has served my family for 40 years through good and bad. Extremely pleased.

She was very abrupt and treated me like a child. I have been going to dermatologist twice a year, for 45 years and have educated myself well about my skin issues! She acted as though she was doing me a favor. She does not relay info in terms that most people can understand.

I was very disappointed with my visit. She acted as though my appointment was a waste of her time and literally told me that there was nothing she could do for me. I had a horrible skin reaction to a medication that left scarring all over my body and not only was she judgmental, but gave me no hope that my skin could be normal again without lasers and a cosmetic dermatologist. Didn’t even recommend a cream just said she couldn’t help me. Left me feeling more helpless than when I came in.

I have a history of basal/squamous skin cancers (8 removed). I was particularly concerned about a spot under my eye. it had been there several years and was changing. Given my history, I think it would have been appropriate to obtain a tissue sample and send to a pathologist. She did not, and I felt she was very dismissive. I was as if the appointment was a bother, and I was being silly for worrying. Another MD took a sample about a year later and it was skin cancer.

She seemed very rushed and didn't listen to what my problem was... She almost seemed annoyed that I had made an appointment. Very disappointed in the overall experience.
