Be EXTREMELY vigilant about your billing and how you will be charged. This Company misrepresents the cost to you regarding your insurance by a large amount(several hundreds of dollars in my case). After I had already paid around $500 out of pocket for a teeth cleaning. I would never of agreed to pay $1400+ out of pocket bc I couldn't of afforded that. Deceptive practices. Be aware! (Read the other reviews, this is a common practice for this company!) Dr Thomas(Owner/CEO): Your own mistake in calculating the insurance reimbursement was deceptively incorrect. Why should your patrons have to saddle your incompetency? I was very explicit and concerned with your employees that their calculations were correct. I could understand some small errors but several hundred to thousands of dollars? This was your fault. Own your responsibility, telling your customers that they are settled up paid in full, only to bill them for another $900 is malpractice. Hold the insurance company to what they said, get it right when you call them the first time. In no other business could anyone get away with this type of activity. Stop doing this. Went in for a crown was told I didn't need a root canal then her drill wasn't set up properly went through several drill heads before they figured this out then all of a sudden I need a root canal they were also very disorganized and overbooked and were more concerned towards the end of my appointment about leaving the office and getting me out the door. I was in such horrible pain after in all my teeth surrounding that she didn't even work on im pretty sure she hit my nerve from the shots it felt like electricity through the whole right side of my mouth including half of my tongue and face. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and come to find out I don't need a root canal just the crown and that I was bruised very badly all in my mouth from all the shots. Dr Julie's office gave me no post care instructions on what to do for my temp crown and left cement and sealant all over my surrounding teeth without cleaning it off. Staff stated in network when I scheduled cleanings and upon arriving at the office. I just got a bill for over $500 for 2 kids to get cleanings when they should have been free through my insurance. Completely misleading and dishonest.

Julie Thomas is a ripoff. All I wanted was a tooth pulled. She said she could do it. But I would have to come back next week. Then when I get into the office she said they don't pull teeth. And as they were working on my teeth. Across the hall I heard a patient lose their crown. And she said they would have to order her another one. For 1300 dollars. And after I heard that I told her that I do not want a crown just fill it. Then she found another problem. They had to put a steel rod through my tooth and into the gum. Because the tooth wasn't holding. Thin as she was inserting the steel rod she broke one of my teeth. And to top it off the dentist had one of the rookies do it. Now I'm going to have to have my teeth fixed by someone else now. I do not trust this dentist. It's a bunch of women. Now I have to go to new dentist. I'm going to who that dentist in belden village. EVERYBODY should come see Julie Thomas for a minimum of 8 asphalt patches, OR Gold if you can afford it. Myself, I went for the chip and seal, so I can come back in 6 months. (Brandy, I found your missing ring, it was between my lower check and gums on the left side..... found it after the laughing gas wore off, and dinner.) I'll bring it in on my next visit. This place is an absolute rip off! Double the price for procedures, staff cant even numb u correctly, and still get worked on in pain. You don’t pay, they gouge u with unnecessary costs that never occurred. I hada broken tooth that had abscessed. Once the infection was taken care of I wanted the tooth pulled. They insisted that I did whtvi could to save the tooth. Leaving me feeling like I didn't have the option. They will always take you around the far bend to get more money from without listening to what you are asking of them. Do not recommend. Had two fillings done on my top two teeth back teeth. Went back in to 2 months later to tell them I am still experiencing pain. They told me it was normal and I told them I’ve had fillings and this amount of pain is not normal after 2 months. They gave in after some arguing, saw me and said it was my bite that was off and causing pain. After that Julie stated I had to wait another month and see how it goes. A month goes by and the exact same teeth are still hurting just as bad. So I got back in, 3 months of now living in teeth pain, and have the hygienist tell me she is going to adjust again. I strong suggest it is not the bite, my teeth are in TOO much pain to just be a bite. Julie came in to look at my teeth and told me, “your fillings are beautiful, it’s impossible for you to be in pain. Your fillings are perfect nothing needs done”. This is the cleanest and most high tech dental office I’ve ever been to. Dr. Julie is fast and does an excellent job. I was comfortable the whole time in the new chairs and provided pillow.

What a great experience~ They were kind, patient and got me out of pain. I was lucky to find this gem of a place. I look forward to continuing my dental journey with Dr. Julie and her staff. Thanks so much!

Dr Julie and the staff are amazing! I had a routine cleaning done and it was the first time that I wasn't sore after having it done. I have been a client for many years. These people are wonderful. They are friendly and professional. They are here to take care of your teeth but they are interested in you as a person. I will not recommend Julie Thomas dds. She does not do the work herself she has different girls do different things. I had pain right bottom back tooth , her girl put a cap on I said I still had pain another girl did a root canal and cap. I said pain still there other girl did the tooth next to that one put a cap maybe root canal. I went back still with pain they took porcelain caps off and put gold caps on. Over $4,000.00 later I am now in the process going to Case Western Reserve dental school in Cleveland I am having 2 Implants. I have a bad infection in gum and I guess down to the bone. I wasted all that money it could of went towards my implants.

Every time I had an appointment I waited about an hour until I got back. Poor time management.

Exceptional service! I called and related my horrible story and was immediately asked "Can you come in today?" I saw 3 dentists in a year and told them all about MY issue with my front teeth. One of them I fired, the 2nd & 3rd ones kept ignoring my comments about not feeling comfortable smiling. (And all the while my front teeth kept chipping and cracking). They both said we have to get this and this and this done first. 10K and much emotional/physical pain later, I decided they were not going to put me off about my front teeth any longer. Then I found Dr. Julie. She looked at my teeth, and said, "Do you want me to fix them today?" I had a meltdown (a good one!) I just cried and cried. It was THAT easy! So a few hours later I walked out with 4 BEAUTIFUL front teeth! Now we have a treatment plan so we can take care of other issues I'm having. I was about to give up on my teeth. I wanted them all pulled (certainly not necessary). I just wanted a nice smile that I thought I could never get! DR. The best! Very accommodating and compassionate! A great staff that works together to make a great client experience. Dr. Thomas is the best! She is compassionate and demonstrates a wealth of knowledge and skill. By far, the best dental experience I have ever had! I have complete confidence in Dr. Thomas and her staff!

I wish I could leave an excellent review. However, I want to be honest about my experience. I went to Dr. Thomas in September of 2017 to have a consultation to have veneers replaced on my two top front teeth. One of them was slipping and was quite old. I feel like I was sold a bill of goods. I am older and know I have bone loss but was promised my two front teeth would be beautiful. I told them over and over I was not happy with the look of the new ones and one was longer. They thought they were appeasing me by reshaping the tooth beside it. Now a year and half later the one that was longer is shifting and looks horrible. Also, she won't accept any dental insurance or give you a discount so basically I feel like I paid for shoddy work and she knew the bone loss would be a problem. I don't even look at my smile I am so upset.

They couldn't even get the insurance info correctly, which wasn't our fault since I contacted Dr. Thomas's office and they told us they had all our insurance info was correct. Dr. Julie Thomas is a fantastic dentist. She’s so nice when she sees me. The dental hygienists really know what they are doing. They do that thing we’re they ask you questions when their hands are in your mouth, but at least they let you answer by taking their hands out. One time, Mike, her son, filled my three cavities and he did a good job. He flirted with one of the shadowers the whole time, but it was fine. If you’re ever cold, they offer you a blanket straight out of the dryer. Every time I go, even for a cleaning, they have me a pillow so my head is comfortable. Talk about comfortable, some of the chairs give you a massage, very classy. The waiting room is kinda small, but that’s okay because your usually don’t have to wait long. They also have a Hot water thing so you can make coffee, hot chocolate, or tea, plus there is a fridge filled with beverages right when you walk in. I highly recommend Dr. Julie Thomas as a dentists. I had a wonderful experience with this office and staff. Emily was very knowledgeable but also kind. She explained the procedures and even called to make sure I was feeling better, hours after the appointment. I would recommend this to anyone.

Had my front teeth fix two months ago and today I have to go back and have one redone as it broke again. We have been going to see Dr. Julie for about 20 years and have to say she is absolutely great! She and her staff are extraordinarily efficient, talented and most personable. I always feel comfortable and taken care of by their entire team. And what a "team" they are! I have been a customer of Dr. Julie Thomas for almost 7 years and each year the experience keeps getting better and better. I go for 3 dental cleans each year as I wear retainers every night and feel the extra clean is definitely worth it. I absolutely love the fluoride treatments after each clean however I wish my insurance would pay for it. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and I always look forward to my next cleaning. Like most I dread going to the dentist. However, I have been a patient of Dr. Julie Thomas's now for a little over a year. I have had several procedures done from the typical cleaning.( Which Emily does a FANATASTIC job of doing. ) , a filling, root scaling , Zoom whiting and a vernier. All of my procedures were very professional. Dr. Julie Thomas is very kind and genuinely concerned about the well being of her patients. I truly appreciate her and her staff. I would not hesitate to recommend her

Moved away and my preset dentist has done the best she can to make them right but still suffering from her errors. The upper front are too long and hit the bottom and break often. Thank you to everyone in your office. All staff, front desk, dental assistants, dental hygienists, and of course, Dr. Thomas were caring, kind, and gentle. I have lived in five states and had seven dentists. Dr. Thomas is at the top of this list.

Not only are my teeth very sensitive, I am difficult to numb and have a major dental phobia. The entire staff is patient, kind and attentive. They make me relax as much as I can and do a terrific job on both the dental procedure and the emotional management of a person who is terrified of dental work.

You will not find a better dental team than the one caring for patients at this office. My recent visit involved two hours of work by skilled professionals who work very well together, informed me at every step of what they were doing, kept me comfortable and actually made me laugh several times. From my initial call into the office my experience was excellent. The office receptionist was very friendly and able to get me in the same day. When I arrived the paperwork process was simple and fast. The offices we clean and modern and everyone made sure I was relaxed throughout my visit. The team explained every procedure in detail and made sure I was comfortable as I went through my general cleaning. I would highly recommend this practice as the experience was above most service providers. The friendly and caring atmosphere was outstanding, I will definitely be seeing them again on my 6 month checkup! Keep up the great work !
