The first time I received a series of injections I was pain free for 10 yrs. I had injections 3 years ago and am still pain free. Now my husband is experiencing back pain and is going to see her.

Great pain specialist! Definitely would recommend! Office is very clean and quiet.

Dr. Burry has been treating me for over a year. She listened to my concerns and we came to the best treatment for me. I find her staff very attentive and helpful. I am wheelchair bound and the corners are very tight so they always have someone to help me. The thing I like best is the short rate time.

Dr. Burry consistently made my elderly mother wait usually from over an hour from her assigned appointment times. The receptionist was rude on several occasions and wouldn't let my mother use the restroom or even use a wheelchair, without asking 3 times. I noticed there seems to be always new employees at this practice. Dr. Burry never seems to make eye contact with my mother the 3 to 5 minutes she's with her. It seems she looks more at her patients as a number rather then a individual. I mentioned to the receptionist that my mother should be charging the Dr. for excessive wait time, as the Dr. could charge for a no show. Dr. Burry dropped my mother after 6 plus years because of my comment. I suggest that anyone who sees Dr. Burry do some research on her or interview her first before using her as a Dr. I feel as Dr. Burry needs to be reported to DBPR, Florida Department of Health, and the Agency for Health Care Administration for how she treated my mother on many occasions. Dr Berry’s kind, sympathetic and great, but so is her staff. They treat you like family. Also, Dr Burry can be fast, so jump in quickly if you have something to say. Because of this, she runs a smooth ship and I’ve never had to sit around waiting and waiting for a doctor. Highly recommend!

I have had to switch pain management doctors a few times due to insurance changes, and I can tell you that Dr. Burry is the absolute best! It's evident that she truly cares about her patients and goes above and beyond to help. I've been her patient for more than four years and I hope to never have to change again. She actually listens to me and was the first doctor who didn't make me feel like an addict. And her skill with spinal injections and ablations is unsurpassed. Even her staff is responsive and caring - and you won't wait an hour to see her. I wish all physicians were like her. They are even doing an excellent job of keeping patients safe with their Covid precautions.

First time I met her she was kind and really wanted to help me, but the second time was talking to a completely different person. Most unprofessional doctor's office ever! "Highlights": asked staff directly why appointment day/date/time was not mentioned in "reminder" call and was told that was the specifically instructed procedure for the routine patient pre-visit call - makes you wonder how may "no show" fees were regularly collected. Informed billing of incorrectly charged an office visit co-pay for procedure visits, per EOB - took constantly calling, every few days or at least every 2 weeks, to finally receive reimbursement after 9 months - holding back $160 is a lot on a senior's limited income. Finally and the "best" part was when I called immediately after experiencing nerve pain down my left arm after last injection...took 5 days for front desk person, not nurse, to finally return my voicemail since I could not reach anyone. I have been a patient of Dr. Burry’s Since 2015. She is very personable, professional, listens to all concerns and asks questions to help provide the best treatment. Dr. Burry has ordered numerous tests and studies for me over the years and has helped me considerably with trigger point injections. The current staff is courteous and Takeshia at the front desk always has a smile on her face and is very nice; in a pain clinic, being greeted with a smile makes all the difference. I have been seeing Dr Burry for around 10 years she is Great!!! Has help me manage my chronic pain.

I have been a patient of Dr. Burry since 2015. She has a great bedside manor, is always willing to listen, and is knowledgeable about the treatments she offers. The office staff is always nice and Takeisha at the front desk is very helpful and friendly too. I highly recommend Dr. Burry to anyone in pain. Not all treatments will work, but there are numerous options and Dr. Burry will help you find the one that's right for you.

My husband has been a patient for 6 years it used to be a great place not anymore. They have new office staff every month. They change their policies and procedures monthly. They cancel appointments for vacations. It is very frustrating. Switching doctors

She also works for an IVF doctor out of network doing anesthesia before procedures. It was requested to pay $500 before the surgery for a 15 min procedure to remove my eggs. She seemed very short and I only remember seeing her for 30 seconds before the procedure started. I have had procedures done in the past before and never had any problem ever with anesthesia. This was not the case. I ended up having my first seizure and when I finally woke up.... she was gone quick, fast and in a hurry to the bank to cash that check. No recommendations on what I should do considering this never happened before, no follow ups scheduled after to check to make sure I was okay. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Medicine is nothing like it used to be... with her that really made me feel like a number and a check. Get her in and out and give me the money. I would not recommend her to let anyone put her under anesthesia!!!!! Now I have to worry about problems with my medical history that have never been an issue before. Found out the 3 medications she used during the procedure were versed, fentanyl and propofol. Sounds like I should take the next step and open an investigation on her and her practice of medicine. I could not give no stars if I could I would.....I can not warn you enough about this cold blooded individual that claims to care about pain patients. She is awful..... You can tell by her staff changing monthly how mean and cruel she really is. She had disrespected me a few but I kept going because I needed to. Her staff changes every month and they are awful at book keeping, apts. and very snooty. I actually was let go as a patient not for any dirty urine, or lack of payment but letter said because I failed to build repport with her staff, are you kidding me, and did not give me a rx for meanwhile to help me not get sick until i found new doctor, ended up in emergency room. I called this office five (5) times to get copies of my medical records over a two (2) week period. The office staff was so incompetent that they could not seem to figure out how to count the number of pages, print my records, and call me to pick them up. Each time I called, a new person that said "we will have to count the pages, charge you a $1 a page for the first 25 pages and .50 cents thereafter, and get back with you." Remarkably, this could not be accomplished over a two-week period with five (5) calls, speaking with three people, and leaving two additional messages. Frankly, a pathetic excuse for a doctor's office as far as the staff goes. The doctor was great, I will say that. The Doctor is nice but always in a hurry, it seems that don’t cares about what you tell her, she does what’s best for charging your ins. I got a few injections for my back pain, the pain never diminished for more than a couple of days , obviously didn’t read my file from the surgeon and her useless staff never checked with my ins so she did a PROCEDURE that was clearly not authorized by the ins as it was the same procedure that I just got surgery done for!!! Staff are disrespectful and RACIST

Look for another Pain Doctor. This Doctor is very arrogant and she truly does not care about her patients. She is always with a cocky attitude like she is royalty. I am paying cash and I am not satisfied with her treatment. She gave me a few injections and none of them helped. It seemed like it bothered her when I asked her more info about what she was injecting me and for how long it should help with the pain. Stay away!

Does not care about her patients. I keep receiving bills after each appointment even when it is paid in full. Her injections did not help me and when I went for a follow up visit did not offer any other injections or treatment.

I have been seeing Dr. Burry for a few months now and I am self paying. I moved here and had to find a new pain management Doctor. She asked for my previous pain management records prior to scheduling. Since day 1, I noticed that Dr. Burry did not review my prior records because she was very lost with my diagnoses, conditions, and current medications. Dr. Burry did not even review my X-rays and MRI's. I am a military veteran suffering from many back conditions. I went a few times for injections and it was always very quick and she never answered any of my questions. She did not even know how long the effect of the injections would last. On my last visit, she asked me what conditions did I have, what were my diagnoses and who gave them to me. I could not believe that she was asking me what was wrong with me and I asked her what she meant. She asked in a very rude and surprised manner why I was asking her what was wrong with me. She even asked if I had been diagnosed by a pain management Doctor before!! I explained to her that my last injection did not really do anything and that I was still in pain. You can not speak to a person to change a appointment, if you leave a message they do not call you back. It is very frustrating trying to get through. Dr. Burry overcharges to fill out any paperwork, she charges $100.00 per page which I think is highly unreasonable. It just goes to show that Dr. Burrry only cares about the dollar amount. The wait times can vary, I have had to wait 45 or more if she is running behind.

If you want a Dr that takes their time in getting to know you problems. This is NOT the Dr. Can't keep staff has been through over 30 in the past year. Long over an hour wait times. Only for the Dr to come in and see you for 5 minutes and never listen to you. Worst place to go ever. I would recommend a garage Dr prior to seeing her. Just horrible. I actually got told because I had Wellcare I was trash!!!! Very rasist and a bigot. Stay clear!!!!

I saw Dr Bury twice once for a office visit and once for an injection in my knee. I tried to schedule another appointment for a gel injection as the original injection did nothing to alleviate the pain. She said she would order the gel after waiting over 3 weeks I called and was told the gel was never ordered. She then asked what my original doctor injected me with when she already had his notes in my file. The entire office is very unprofessional and would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

I saw Dr. Burry for the first time today (8/22/16). What a awesome and compassionate physician, not to mention very intelligent and well educated on medications and diagnosis. She lowered the strength of one medication I was taking but increased the frequency, I'm feeling ma little better already and hope even better after injections. I saw a very negative post, mainly about refusal to sign narcotic agreement and take a urine test. You are correct sir, it is your right to not do either, however if you have nothing to hide, why not? She also came highly recommended via my primary care doctor whom I hold in extremely high esteem. so for anyone looking for a compassionate, intelligent pain management doctor, she is the one to see. All I can tell you guys is if you ever have to go to any pain doctor choose any other one but this office. Starting from the doctor that doesn't let the patience talk about her symptoms all the way down to her office staff. The manager Donna is awful don't help patience to get their procedure faster. Now let me remind you I have experience in insurance certification and also with dealing with humans interactions. How to be emphatic and sympathetic. Please don't go there you will be regretted.

I've been seeing Dr. Burry for several months now, and can honestly say her bedside manner,compassion,thoughtfulness and intelligence is equal to that of only my PCP whom I hold in the highest esteem. Her staff is amazing and will accommodate you in any way possible, such as an appointment change to next day or at worst a very reasonable short time, they are also extremely pleasant and easy to get along with. Dr. Burry is never in a rush during injections and always asks if your doing ok.

The staff in this office is amazing! Most offices are terrible but this one treats you like you are a member of their family. Caring and helpful- and respectful! Danielle was so nice and honestly concerned about my wellbeing. Dr Burry has a wonderful bedside manner and is very thorough. I would reccomend this office to anyone who has had enough when it comes to their pain and the way this state treats their pain management patients.

I was referred to Dr Burry from my current Pain Mgt doc as he is w/ FL Hosp and not allowed to perform PRP/stem cell. What a relief to see Dr Burry She is very kind, and explained what treatment she recommended PRP. I believe some of the negative reviews maybe because the patients may not have listened when told Stem or PRP is not covered by ins. It's All out of pocket I was told this in advance by referring doc and Dr Burrys staff. First treatment today

I was just out of the hsptl. On Mon I called to cancel my appt on Thurs because I was on antibiotics. They changed my appt from a injection appt to a follow up. The girl who took my call asked what hospital I was at. I told her Fl. Hosp. Alt. I came in thurs, waited 45 min. Finally a nurse came in and asked why are you here? I said a follow up. She asked where my report was. I don't have one. I got upset because I was still feeling ill. Dr Burry sent me away saying I failed meet repore. Dont go.

Go to someone else! Dr. Burry came in the office nearly an hour and a half late with an excuse of an emergency with another patient. Okay, then why didn't your staff tell me anything? She tried to blow me off because she said my insurance would only throw a nickel at it regarding the procedure I need. If you don't like what my insurance company pays, here's an idea- DON'T TAKE THAT INSURANCE. There was more egregious behavior. I am filing a complaint with the state medical board today.
