Dr. Hillman did an exceptional job to correct my eyelid and eyebrow problems! Superior surgical care, concern, and outcome!

Paid for lower eyelid treatment including laser treatment. One eyelid came out reasonably successful. The other didn't. During follow up visit, I was told it would cost more money to fix what I had already paid to have done in the first place. Not happy.

Dr Hellman looked into my tear duct situation. Felt like ducks are somewhat blocked. Looking further felt I have a somewhat deviated syndrome blocked. Explained type of surgery needed. Was thoughtful and explained carefully my part in the procedure. I feel fairly comfortable and confident.

Only interested in your eyelids and not your eyes.

From pre-opp. through surgery, to post opp, All was a good experience for me. My vision is much better now that my upper lids have been reduced. All visits were enjoyable and prompt. My experience with Dr. Hellman was excellent. The VA recommended him to perform my eyelid surgery. During the pre-screening, he explained the procedure well, in language I could understand. All my appointments have been on time, and he spent all of the time necessary to answer my questions. The surgery went fine and my two follow up appointments have been informative concerning continued eye health. I would, without any reservation, recommend Dr. Hellman.

I am a 50 year old female, I went in for a surgical procedure on both my eyes with Dr Hellman. I was very nervous and stressed out prior to the procedure. But I had heard nothing but great things from friends and family who went to him for the same procedure. I had upper eyelid surgery by Dr. Hellman. He and his staff were very professional at all times and explained my questions well. The results of the surgery were very successful. I would recommend him for these services.

Absolutely does not care about his patients! I will not go back to him. He said rude things to me while I was under anesthesia because apparently he wasn’t happy that I woke up in the middle. Like that’s really my fault. I am 10 days out of surgery and both eyes infected. My eyeballs are filled with fluid from apparent trauma and now I neither one of my eyes can close. Now I’m being referred to another surgeon to make possible corrections. Not only did I get no response when I asked for a simple antibiotic because I knew something was wrong. But then he refused to even give me a doctors excuse for work even though I could not see and was in severe pain. I have now been to two other doctors who are extremely concerned. Stay away from this guy! I look sooooo bad compared to what I should look like after this much time passes. I could not regret going to this guy more! He should not be a doctor!

He needs to return to medical school & learn how to effectively interact with pts & their family. Also he needs to truly listen to his pts ,& review their allergies. He took an oath to "first do NO HARM". Allergies are real!
