I showed up to my appointment (after I missed a message that they needed to reschedule) and Dr. Ahlstrom managed to fit me in anyways. She was so kind and patient with my 15 month old and we got his procedure scheduled for the following week! Dr. Ahlstrom did a very thorough job and talking to her afterward, I didn’t feel rushed like I have with other providers. She even called the Saturday after his appointment to check in. I found Dr. Ahlstrom condenscending, abrupt, disinterested. I had to wait 9 days to get MRI results. She does not listen or explain with clarity. Waited a half hour in the exam room.

Dr. Ahlstrom is amazing to work with. She is an excellent physician.

Good experience even though my daughter was not very cooperative at first being 4yrs old and scared but the nurses and doctor were very patient and worked with her professionally and tried to make her as comfortable as possible.

Wonderful she is knowledgeable and kind and listens and spends time with her patients

She did a fantastic job on our child and was a pleasure to work with!

Karen is an amazing doctor. She offers all kinds of advice and helps my child whenever I need it! My son is five and suffers from chronic ear problems. She is thoughtful and thorough.

I too have to disagree with the 1-star comments on Dr. Ahlstrom. She is attentive and thorough. Her demeanor was very good and she knows her field well. If you get offended by a doc telling you what you need to hear, maybe the problem is you and not your doc.

I have to strongly disagree with the previous reviews of Dr. Ahlstrom. She has seen both of my boys for years, and she is always fantastic! Very kind and patient with us and our kids. I would trust her with their lives any day. She is amazing. I highly recommend her to everyone!

Dr. Ahlstrom is a very kind and intelligent doctor. She listened patiently and took the time to look up my medical information. She took time to educate me about proper function of the vocal cords. I felt very comfortable at my appointment with her.

She is a wonderful practitioner and surgeon, with the best patient care I have seen for young children. Heartfelt and competent - I'm referring friends to her.

I, the unimportant patient, am expected to check in 15 minutes before the appointment, which I did. It is very interesting to me that I am treated as if my time is worth nothing. At this point, we have been here 45 minutes. Only after inquiring how much longer we have to wait, did the medical assistant explain (without any apology) that the dr is 30 mins behind. We could always reschedule for the end of August. P S. If you are coming to this office, be sure your phone is charged so you can entertain yourself as the reading material sucks. Dr. Ahlstrom has a wonderful manner, very personable. She seems to be very caring of her patients, and driven to discover the cause of a complaint. She caught something on my CT scan that slipped past other providers, and I have a great degree of trust in her ability.

Dr Ahlstrom over steps her boundaries and a simple ear, nose and throat "doctor" and finds it her job to insult patients and make incredibly offensive and hurtful comments. I will be sure to inform others to avoid her services.

I liked her demeanor and attitude. I liked how she explained thoroughly my condition to me. I liked how she noticed something unusual about me that she said would bring tobmy PCP's attention as something that he should check on.

Dr Ahlstrom, you might be an adequate physician, but you should learn to keep your personal opinion and judgement to yourself. You are practicing medicine. You are not God.
