10 ⭐ Dr. has a lot of patience, very competent in his specialty and well educated. Hands Down!! Lol The best orthopedic hand surgeon in Southern CA. Explains all options in detail, in terms that are understandable to the non medical without rushing visit. He performed carpal tunnel surgery and when it was over I didn't even need a Tylenol. 1 day down time. Did I mention that the doctor follows up with a phone call to make sure all is well. Staff is also friendly and professional. Get appointments without waiting on phone or months before seeing you. Office is kinda hard to find if not familiar with area. Office is could use updating but functional. It has been year... no tingling or numbness. My wrist and hand function has been restored 100%. I have scheduled my other hand for next month. Had 2nd surgery. Again no problems. Trustworthiness A++.

The best orthopedic surgeon ever!

Great doctor & great service! I had a a huge ganglion cyst in my wrist which had previously been operated on (by another doctor) to no success. I was beginning to think I would be stuck with this thing forever, as I had already had it for five years. One 1.5 hour long surgery later, and I have been ganglion cyst free for six months now!! Dr. Abdollahi was my shoulder surgeon years ago and when I started having new issues I went right back to him. He is kind, caring, compassionate and he loves problem solving. He is an excellent dr. I have never once felt rushed when I see him!!! He even called me on a Saturday to discuss my case with me! I highly recommend him!

What a wonderful doctor. I had an x-ray taken and after Dr Abdollahi spent a good amount of time with me explaining what was causing my pain. Didn't know there were still doctors like him around anymore. He personally called me a few weeks later to see how I was doing. Very nice office staff also. I will never go anywhere else with these type of problems.

Dr. Abdollahi is a terrific ortho surgeon, do not hesitate to engage with him. I had 13 screws inserted to repair my shoulder 10 days ago and I can't believe how good I feel. I'm shocked at my range of motion and how little pain I've experienced since the surgery. I ingested no more than 2 narcotic pills then immediately moved to OTC products. Dr. A. is detailed, but just as detailed as you want him to fit your mind set. Personally, my questions were 95% regarding recovery. Beyond viewing the x-ray and a being handed a paper with the detail and time for surgery prepping, I was ready to get the surgery behind me and move forward. I'm extremely pleased with Dr. Abdollahi.

Dr. Abdollahi is simply the best doctor that has ever treated me. He is extremely competent and throughly explains the options for treatment. In fact, he has you video tape him with your phone a summary of the options. If you have to change the dressing post surgury he films how to apply the dressing. He is simply the best of the best.

Dr Abdollahi came very highly recommended from my daughters pediatrician. Dr Abdollahi lived up to his solid longstanding reputation. He is just wonderful. He’s professional, incredible manner, listened to concerns, took time, explained so much, just amazing. I can’t say enough which as a mother, having my young daughter treated, and trusting him with all my heart, should speak volumes. His X-ray tech and nurse were also lovely. Just great all around. I did read reviews that I felt were unfair, especially since neither reflected on the Drs care but on office staff, whom I also thought were great by the way, so I thought it was important to share my experience on the Dr himself, whom is the only one that should be rated if we are here for his care. First appointment - very impressed with his concern, ability to listen, knowledge of hand conditions, and expertise in treating the problem. I never felt rushed. He was able to treat the problem in the same appointment as diagnosing it. I really liked his idea of videotaping his summary of the situation and future treatment options. Will definitely go back if the problem resurfaces.

If I could give a lower rating I would. My 99 year old grandma broke her finger and needed to see an orthapedic specialist and since she lived in Three Arch bay we thought this place would be best since it was closest. Boy was I wrong. The office manager, Andreax was rude and displayed no sympathy. She doesnt return phone calls or messages. No one ever answers the phone there. I left 4 messages and never got a return call. I finally spoke to her and she assured me she would call hack...she never did. This is the type of place that hurts elderly and their lack of understanding and sympathy should be stain to the entire medical community. I am going to continue to express my displeasure over and over until they change. If I could give a lower rating I would. Dr. Abdollahi is awesome! He requests that I record our meeting so I don't forget anything. He makes sure I understand everything. He includes my individual lifestyle into the careplan. 1st surgery went fantastic, much better than expected. I wish all my doctors/practitioners were this awesome!

I had surgery on a Friday and he wanted followup the next day so he came in on a Saturday to see me. Really appreciated his approach of taping while going over directions for me to do post op. Chronic arthritis in thumbs aggravated by years of wheel chairing and crutch walking. Dr. gives expert treatment in office and follows up by email and phone. Offers books and emails relevant articles to help me understand treatment options and physical therapy strategies.

Did a somewhat difficult shoulder surgery for me which seems to be working out well. The follow up physical therapist said Dr. Abdollhai had done a good job. Dr Abdullahi performed carpal tunnel surgery on both of my wrists with great success on my results. There are no visible scars what so ever. More importantly , I have my life back in that I'm now able to perform tasks where before it was impossible not to mention severe pain, numbness, limitations and lack of sleep. Prior to surgery I'd awaken with pain and numbness in the middle of the night having to hang my hand and arm over the side of my bed for blood to flow down to my hands with minimal relief. In addition to both wrist carpal tunnel surgeries, Dr. Abdullahi also performed finger trigger surgery on a few of my finger tendons with successful results. There aren't enough words to express my relief but mostly gratitude. He is an amazing talented Othopedic Surgeon with professional bedside manners; listens, cares, advises and leaves you feeling confident you've made the right decision. Dr. Abdollahi has an excellent reputation among his patients and in the community. He is also well respected by his peers & affiliate hospitals. His staff are equally pleasant and professional. Suzy, his surgery coordinator and manager is amazing to work with promptly returns calls with answers to all your questions (what a rarity I've found dealing interfacing with other industry peers) always pleasant and has been there for years including 90% of his staff. Always a good indicator of a surgeon' personality and well run office operations. After having 5 surgeries performed by Dr. Abdullahi with "no" complications and all successful results, I have referred him to "numerous" individuals seeking a competent surgeon. Dr Abollahi is an Excellent doctor in his field of expertise. He listens and responds well and efficiently. He has you video record him while giving instructions to you, so you can listen to him over and over if neede. He responded to my need in the late hours in the ER and was treating me from there with pain medications and ex-rays that he needed to get me into surgery the next day. I appreciate his smile along with his confidence.

Dr. Abdollahi is the most accomodating and patient doctor I have ever encountered. He actually had me use my Iphone to record all the answers to my questions while he logically addressed every one of my concerns. I can tell he intentionally leaves out medical jargon so his explanations are more simple and effective. He's the best!

I went to see Dr. Abdollahi for a volar Bartons fracture. He was very accommodating when it came to my choice of anesthesia. He performed the entire procedure with an arm block and light sedation. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs treatment in his specialty. He is caring, professional and gentle. Thank you Dr. Abdollahi for putting my broken arm back together again. I saw Dr Abdollahi when I was in Laguna Hospital for a very bad infection in my thumb. He was very kind , very gentle and very caring when he had to cut and drain the infection in my thumb . I would recommend him to everyone I know
