Dr. Karina Shulman

During my one and only visit with Dr. Shulman, she was extremely dismissive, impatient and rude. After the visit, she was non-responsive when I attempted to call her during a crisis directly caused by her advice to reduce my medication, despite assurances by her staff that she would call me right back. She also did not respond when my primary care doctor called her, which is extremely unprofessional. Also, her staff does not always answer the phone, and there is no voicemail set up to accept messages. The recording instructs callers to either call 911 or call back later. I would not return to Dr. Shulman, nor would I recommend her to anyone.

She should not be treating patients. She clearly doesn't care and doesn't seem to enjoy her work. Last appointment I went in feeling fine and left feeling terrible, very judged and stigmatized. she seemed very annoyed with me. She has a deficit focus as opposed to a strengths focus in treating people, and I don't get the impression she really sees the whole person. No ability to empathize. She has poor ability to connect with or develop a repoire with her patients.

Karina Schullman is l running a scam. She over books her schedule and only spends 5 minutes with you. Every time I’ve seen her she’s made me wait an hour in the waiting room. And she uses any excuse she can to make me make more frequent appointments. I wish I could give her zero stars.

WHERE ARE THE NEGATIVE STARS?!?! I went to Dr. Schulman for about 8 months or so. Such a waste of money and time. She would spend literally 2 minutes with me. The second i would open my mouth she'd be writing a prescription for me. I went through 4 different medications (different doses every time) and nothing helped. At one point i asked her to write the different meds down that I've taken and she said no because "don't you have the bottles"? Also, the very last appointment i went to she said

I would never recommend this rudeness and thoughtless fool of a doctor.

Didn’t even know I am married; knows nothing about me and comes up ridiculous conclusions. I told her I am having an extremely hard time because my best friend has cancer and she said, “Bad things happen; you have to deal with them. There are better treatments for cancer than there are for diabetes.” Reception staff doesn’t know how to transfer a call and are rude. I wish I could give her a zero. This is a doctor who does not care, please do not go to her. My wife was miserable after seeing her.
