I can sympathize with one of the 1-star reviewers who had a disturbing encounter with Dr. Trimble. I should stipulate that, so far as I know, the treatment I received from the good doctor wasn't deficient in any narrowly defined medical sense. Nor do I have reason to believe that he is not a good and decent person, generally speaking. However, while I'd prefer not to get into the details of a private medical interaction, I can say that my own encounter with the doctor was rather abrupt and unsettling. If one envisions a sliding scale for bedside manner that has "Wise and kindly family physician" on the high end, and "Alien abduction medical exam" at the bottom, I'm sad to say that I'd have to rate my own experience somewhere a good deal south of the midpoint. If you're a passive individual who tends to place blind trust in your healthcare providers and don't feel a need to establish even a slight personal connection with your physician, then you're probably fine with Dr. Trimble. But I read some of the 5-star reviews and wonder if I saw the same doctor - I already knew for sure that I wouldn't be returning for a second visit before I even got my clothes back on. Dr. Trimble and his team have the expertise, compassion and unprecedented focus on patient care wellness. It is a pleasure to be around the team that is extremely friendly and that is making you feel at ease. I have been his patient of Dr. Trimble for over 5 years receiving first-class care and I highly recommend him.

He is very thorough and professional.

Dr. Trimble is the best Dermatologist I have been to. He does not miss a thing during his exam and is very professional. I highly recommend him and will use him for all my familiy's needs.

When I walk in I’m greeted with smiles, my wait time is always under 5 minutes. The nurses are kind and informative and gentle. Doctor Trimble is in shortly and gets straight to work, he explains what’s happening and why. I really appreciate that. I’m glad I have a Skin Doctor who really takes care of my skin! Dr Trimble saved my life thirteen years ago, doesn’t get better than that. I’ve been in his care ever since and wouldn’t trust anyone else. He’s attentive, knowledgeable and exceptional. Entire office is exceptional.

Dr. Trimble is excellent, very thorough in his examination.

I’ve had several dermatology doctors over the years, but Dr. Trimble is by far the best. He’s always very thorough, and I appreciate that about him. I won’t go anywhere else.

A few months ago I visited Dr. Trimble for a spot on the rear of my calf. It tested positive for Squamous Cell cancer. Dr. Trimble did the procedure to remove the cancer in his office. My incision was gifted with 15 stitches, and I was given some easy instructions on how to take care of the wound site as I left his office. I never had any pain, they got all the cancer the first time and the staff was wonderful.

Been going here for 3 years. Great staff and Dr Trimble is great. I have been to many dermatologist and he is by far one of good ones!!

Dr. Trimble is an excellent dermatologist. We have been using his services since 2007. We recommend him highly and are completely satisfied with his work.

Dr. Trimble is very punctual, professional and thorough. I have been going to him for 3 years and have been treated for melanoma and squamous cell carcinoma. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Trimble saved my dad's life by excising a melanoma and getting him treatment within days. He has removed multiple abnormal moles from me and never misses anything. He is very professional, has a great sense of humor, and is very thorough.

Sprayed me with freezing agent without asking and charged me for every spray. Charged me the highest office visit level. Called the office and the billing lady thought it was amusing and told me "that's dermatology for you". She offered the advice that I should have stopped him. Horrid bedside manner.

Fast, thorough, efficient.

Very Professional and Knowledgeable Doctor and Nurses. Explained the problem and the cure in detail and proceeded to fix the problem. Kudos.

Dr. Trimble has always been good with me. He has removed several skin cancers leaving minimal scarring. He seems to be a quiet man but can be a little humorous at times. He always answers any questions I might have. His staff is always friendly and helpful.

what can I say.....was escorted into an exam room, waited 15 minutes, the Dr walked in..... no "I'm Dr. Trimble", no "Hello Mr. P" I was told to lay down on the exam table and before I knew what was happening he was spraying my back with a 'freezing agent'. I tried to ask him about MY concerns....to which he quipped "oh, that's just a wisdom spot" When he finished spraying he walked out of the room leaving an aid to give me instructions on the care of my 'frozen' spots. UNBELIEVEABLE

I was in Dr. Trimble’s Office this morning, only the second time I have seen him. When I walked out 20 minutes later, He had barely spoken, let alone give me any indication of his intention to burn my face while I was laying on my back. I have several public speaking engagements in the next week so would have deferred this part of the treatment until a later date, had he bothered to ask. I not only have freeze burns in the places I showed him, but also a severely burned nose without any warning. My nose is already blistering beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. Without permission or any warning, a young male student came into the examining room with Dr. Trimble while he opened the gown front and back. He id not did not do a full body check as I had expected. Once he was done burning me and doing a quick mole biopsy, he said they would call about the lab results left the room without a word. Didn’t even take a couple of seconds to ask if I had questions...nothing. I will not return again and will discourage anyone I know from using him in the future. Honestly, I have never met a physician with such a cold and uncaring manner. Please relay my concerns to him since I can’t do so personally. I had melanoma surgery ten years ago so dermatology checkups are a constant and I have been seen by at least six different practices over the years. I am a frugal man but prefer paying Karl Trimble, MD out of pocket rather than going to other choices within my insurance network---he is that good. Go to as many dermatologists as I have and you will understand. I believe his support staff misdirected me for further treatment for skin cancer leaving much uncertainty for options for care based on my Medicare insurance .I chose to go to another dermatologist who would take the consideration to assist me.

You go in, he doesn't ask any questions he just starts blasting with the liquid nitrogen. He charges for every blast. Better deny you want this done or you can be in the 500.00 dollar range b4 you know it. If you have a PPO, this is his money maker. Does the same thing for husband and I, at different appointment times. Husband had the facial chemotherapy, the office assistant performs the procedure. They never follow up! Have never gone back...
