Dr Loftfield is very calm and not in a rush… she explains what going on and next steps… she’s honest… in our case she referred us to another MD which specializes in our particular problem…

Dr. Loftfield has taken care of me and my family for years. She is extremely generous, caring, and professional. She truly has her patient's best interest at heart and is not just in it for money. Basically, she's the best.

I waited nearly an hour in the exam room, which was entirely too long.

Lost sight in my left eye and went to Dr. Loftfield.I felt at ease with her and she addressed any questions I had.Waiting for surgery and concerned but feel I am in good hands with Dr.Loftfield. So far,so good.Usually I would get a second opinion but I feel confident Dr.Loftfield knows exactly the course she intends to take with me.

Dr. Loftfield is a good doctor she does everything that she possibly can to save my eyes I would recommend her to anyone she also has a great staff working for her they are a great team together.

Very knowledgeable and patience. Dr. Loftfield do not play when it comes to her patients and the knowledge she knows. She would be very forward and considerate about your condition. She is one of my Doctors that I trust in. Great asset to your clinic and Senior patients. Thanks God Bless

Dr. Loftfield is an excellent doctor. She is very professional and is very knowledgeable in her field of employment. During my visits and eye treatments, I felt very comfortable and relaxed in her care. I would definitely recommend others to Dr. Loftfield’s services.

Dr. Katherine Loftfield is a caring, compassionate and highly professional ophthalmologist. She is surrounded with great experiences staff. I feel fortunate to have her as my eye care provider.

Always look forward to my eye appointment with her. You can tell she’s a physician that really, really cares about your eyesight and doing whatever it takes to improve it, and keep it, as in my case, (even though it seems I’m doing everything in my power to thwart her efforts). Everyone is professional, thorough, and friendly. Dr. Loftfield is aware of my other health issues and always inquiries in my overall health. She has treated my eyes successful for years.

As usual Dr Loftfield was very professional and caring

This person was incredibly mean and condescending to both me and my wife. She refused to answer our question about why my wife's eye infection was viral rather than bacterial. We asked this not in a manner of second guessing her but rather out of genuine curiosity because we had just been told the exact opposite by another (much more professional) MD. So we left the appointment without this basic information. The fact that she treated us with such disdain in front of two of her resident physicians further demonstrates what kind of person she is. What a terrible example to set. Of course their opinion of her is likely no higher than mine. I strongly recommend avoiding this woman, and I hope I don't have the misfortune of encountering her again. This person was incredibly mean and condescending to both me and my wife. I enjoyed my latest visit to my ophthalmologist. Dr Loftfield and her staff are always so, patient, kind, and professional. I love the way she has managed my eye problems. This visit was the fastest in and out ever. Thanks Ochsner for providing our area with great medical care.
