I was treated kindly and given consideration for my requests for not using blood products. Dr listened to concerns regarding anesthesia and followed through .The method of surgery was so much easier than I feared .Everything was done in timely manner. Presurgery prep added to my recovery and comfort. I had a speedy recovery . I was impressed by the results and the way I was treated . Dr. O'Hanlan has been my oncologist and surgeon for over 20 years and operated on me several times. Her expertise allowed me to avoid chemotherapy for ovarian cancer, and she literally saved my life twice. She is caring and takes the time to be sure her patients understand their conditions and the possible treatments. Dr. O'Hanlan treats each patient as an individual, looking at the person's whole lifestyle and specific needs, embracing diversity. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.

After being diagnosed with cancer, Dr O’Hanlan performed a complete hysterectomy, laparoscopicly. I was very fortunate to be able to have her as my surgeon. She only comes to my city one or two months a week. I had very little pain afterwards as she prescribed otc pain reliever prior to the surgery and afterwards. I didn’t need a prescription for pain. Dr. O’Hanlan is AMAZING!
