Dr. Babington is always very caring and patient with my 11 year who has chronic health issues. We've never had to wait more than 10-15 mins at the Los Altos Sutter clinic and she's been very responsive when we asked questions over email.

Dr. Babington is wonderful with me male teenager. She's quick, witty and speaks well to this delicate age. She was thoughtful about his health and directed us in all the right places.

She exemplified a sorrowful disregard for the health of children. She left my daughter, feverish and unable to sit up, in the waiting room for 35 minutes, then told us it was too late to see her. Not worth a star, but post won't work without one.

Horrible doctor, stay away from her. She apparently "misdiagnosed" my 7 day old baby(!!!). She made my husband & I run around in circles with the newborn while I was recovering from delivery, instead of just observing the baby for a while longer. I want the best for my baby - be it hospitalization, or anything - but the way she went about it was odd. I would not be calling it a "misdiagnosis" or leaving this review if the doctor pretended to care or listened to baby's history instead of cutting us off repeatedly and making heavy handed statements instead. I typically take doctors' recommendations at face value, but something about her was different. She had no patience to listen to circumstances (cold car seat, very cold day), baby was recovering fast from the cold, etc. She could have just observed the baby for an additional 10-15 minutes to confirm health, but instead, her exact words as soon as she entered the room were "you have no choice.." but to get baby admitted into a hospital When we reached Lucile Packard Children's hospital, the doctor (whom I will not name for privacy considerations) was surprised at diagnosis to admit baby when she learnt of circumstances (which, as I mentioned Dr.Babbington had no regard for). She agreed that observation of the baby was sufficient, no hospitalization needed. Baby's vitals were absolutely fine from the get-go but they had to keep the baby at hospital and observe for several hours because of Dr.Babington's original diagnosis. Ultimately all Dr.Babington had to do was to observe the baby for a little while longer, but either in her hurry to get rid of us (with no consideration of hassle for newborn & my delivery pain), or no patience to listen, she put us through immense mental anguish, making us run around for no reason. I have warned everyone I know going to PAMF Los Altos to stay away from her. There are other extremely capable and considerate doctors there. Like the other reviewer mentioned, I had to select one star at least to post this review. I wish I did not have to. Horrible doctor, stay away from her.
