Good service excellent doctors all the staff are very kind

Benson was "recommended" to my mother by a home health nurse. We've had a few visits and every time we went, there was some issue. Long wait. Not enough staff. Staff trying to administer a test that they were not trained on. Attitude from Dr. Benson. Etc., etc. My mother got to a point of needing a telehealth visit since she was not able to get to the office. They set a time frame of 5:30-9:00pm for us to expect a phone call. We waited and waited, but no phone call ever came in. I called the following day to complain and NO ONE has followed up with us on the complaint. It's already been a week. Terrible patient care!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

This place is a scam! It’s hard to describe how unprofessional all the people working there are! I have never encountered anything even close to this place. Do yourself and your health a favor and find a different place… doing that will take you less time oppose to sitting in their unpleasant waiting area.

I want to thank Mary and the gentleman that helped me go through my nuclear stress test. I seen the positive and secure teaching thy made me feel and helped me to go through this test. Your both a team ...and worked it together. Thankyou and compliments to you in the Nuclear Department.

Dr. Benson does not know what she is doing. She takes other patient phone calls while she is in the room with you. Just awful

Not good!! I was told by one of there own vendors that doctors are good but lose alot of patients because so unorganized..I don't care how friendly staff is if there not organized. Set appt. For me..show up then tells me supposed to be phone appt. I started seeing Doctor Benson when I first moved here earlier this year around May. I needed a refill on my cholesterol medication and it’s a specialty medication that I have been on for 2 years. She insisted on multiple tests (that cost me $80-$120 PER TEST). A total of 5 different tests. I did those tests and completed the last one in JULY 2021. I’ve called her office and spoke to almost everyone there, nobody will give my test results to the insurance company or to me so that I can get my medication. This entire office is focused on money and not the health of their patients. Once they got my money they refuse to give the results of any test to me. It should be against the law! Was told I’d be receiving a heart monitor in the mail from some third party… not told who that third party is or how to contact them, call the office in regular business hours and get no awnser regardless of what number you press. 2 out of 3 scheduled appointments end up canceling or reschedule AFTER you arrive for the appointment

She wasn't seeing new patience but she made time to see me today because I needed to see her before I go into back surgery so she sent me to go do more testing to see if my heart is good enough to get my back surgery done I really like her so awesome to take time for me.

It's a very odd time to visit doctors. However Dr. Benson is very caring. I need another test and to be honest I've been putting it off because of Covid. But appreciate everyone in this office.

Dr. Benson is the most caring and competent and skilled physician I have ever had in my many decades. She is fantastic.

In the past there was always a long wait because they were so busy. Now I'm in & out a lot quicker. You MUST wear a mask to be seen in office. Dr. Benson really takes the time to listen to her patients. I have been seeing her since 2011. She takes the time to see what treatments are needed instead of sending you for unnecessary surgery. The office has been working to reduce the wait before seeing the doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Benson and Singh for 10 years. During this time My blockage has decreased slightly without stints. I have had more than one angiogram. I have also needed a pacemaker I am still alive that says a considerable amount in my condition. A Very professional staff.

Dr. Benson is a very caring Dr. and spends the time with you to listen to you. and the staff is always very nice and caring and always friendly. I appreciate Dr. Benson very much as she has did a lot for me to find out what my problem was and thanks to her I feel much better. Sometimes you have to wait a while to get in to see her, all patients are treated the same.

Very sweet and takes the time to understand what is wrong with each patient.

Needed a new Cardiologist after moving and found Dr. Benson. She was very thorough in her approach to getting to know and understand my Healthcare needs. Really glad we found her.

Not once in 4 years has this office or doctor been on time. 3 to 4 hour waits. Dr. Benson is good, plan on spending half the day. Office staff ok, but I'm changing doctors. You can't rely on appointments at all.

I was referred to Advanced Heart and Vascular by my oncologist. From my first phone call, everyone has been highly professional, very respectful and extremely competent. It is obvious that they respect my time by the manner they strive to keep the flow of patients moving with minimal wait times. Amy Santiago, the PA, is exceptional. She is knowledgeable and friendly. I love that she speaks distinct and clearly. With masks today, it is hard to read lips to assist my hearing, but I can hear and understand Amy without effort. While asking for assistance with an untreated health issue, Dr. Benson was standing nearby and overheard. She spoke up and offered help when I've been unable to find any competent medical treatment for three years for this issue! I highly recommend Advanced Heart and Vascular for heart health care.

I was just there again for an appointment, my appointment time was changed last week from 1:30 to 12:30 because I informed this office I had a primary care doctor appointment at 2:40, showed up today at 11:15 and sat there sat there and sat there, at 1:40 I asked how much longer and was told still 2 patient in front of me, told the girl in front I had to go because I have another doctor appointment that you all we're fully aware of last week, she asked me if I wanted to reschedule I said NO, THIS isn't the first time that I've waited HOURS AT THIS DOCTOR OFFICE, they don't care about the patient all they care about is the $$$$$$ MONEY it's like a factory they don't give you the quality of care you deserve, they over book every time, this doctor's office should be reported to the medical board and insurance board, I personally will be writing asking for an investigation because there is no excuse for the long wait time EVERY TIME YOU GO HERE!!!!! Dr. Benson herself is fine it’s her office staff they are completely disorganized and inept. I have never had such a terrible experience. I went in to have my heart checked I paid for all of the tests out of pocket because everything went to a deductible. I went to the lab that they sent me to for blood work I paid for it. It came back to the doctor and they said it had been contaminated I’m the one that is screwed. I’ve been waiting for a CT scan two months! I agree with a few of the other people who wrote reviews about A BUSY DOCTOR OFFICE MEANS YOU ARE SEEING A REALLY GOOD DOCTOR. I don’t care about the 2 hour wait! I’ve been to a couple other cardiologists that didn’t do anything but a 48 holter monitor. Of course they found nothing. And sent me on my way. Then in November 2017 my heart took a turn and decided it wanted it’s RESTING heart rate to be anywhere from 115-140 BPM. Once again, that’s RESTING. I could barely walk to my car without passing out. I decided to find a new cardiologist and I chose Dr Benson. From the first appt until now (couldn’t tell you how many appts I’ve gone to), she has GENUINELY CARED about my heart health and general health. She did an EKG every time I went to an appt, a couple were abnormal. She gave me the stress tests first before prescribing any medicine. She told me it was a bad idea to start me on medication and get tainted results. Stress tests were all normal... except my heart rate after the treadmill one. Over an hour after the test and my BPM wouldn’t drop below 130/140 and I had best pains (which I had been feeling before anyways). She was actually concerned enough that she recommended I go to the ER. I declined because that’s how I felt on a regular basis anyways. She then started me on medication to slow my heart rate. After one of the abnormal EKGs she gave me a 30 day holter monitor. She said for the most part it was normal except my pulse went way too high too often (sinus tachycardia) so she upped my dose of the heartbeat slowing medication. I still currently take that and it has slowed my BPM a bit. Now it’s anywhere from 90-120 BPM. Better than before but she was not satisfied. So she just ordered a CTA (coronary CTscan w/Contrast) for me to go get done at a hospital. I will be doing that ASAP. Like I said, she isn’t just dosing me with meds to cover up the underlying cause. She is actually ordering tests and bloodwork and doing everything she can to help figure out what’s wrong with me. AND SHE ACTUALLY TAKES THE TIME TO LISTEN TO ME. SHE IS VERY NICE AND CALM AND SHE MAKES ME FEEL SAFE AND AT EASE. She will stay in the room as long as she needs to get as much info from me as possible about what has been happening to me since the last time I saw her. Dr. Benson is an amazing Cardiologist. I have been seeing her for 2 years and yes you do have to wait a while for your appointments. A busy office means the doctors are good. She is kind, does not miss anything, and is able to see the whole picture. I have a LOT of issues and I feel 100% safe in her care. Because of this I would wait 5 hours to see her. My family has very bad genetics for heart issues and she takes this very seriously when others have just blew it off because I am young. I could not imagine any other doctor giving me better care. This is by far the poorest run doctor's office in Las Vegas. Kim, the office manager blatantly refused to allow me to speak with Dr. Benson, or leave a message for Dr. Benson to return my call. Each appointment is agony. A 4 hour wait is common. I'm a fed up 5 year patient who will never set foot in their office again, and I will tell everyone one I know to avoid the this office like the plague.

Second time at this location, first time waited for hours. Waiting for hours again. I’m so sick of this garbage. I’ve been to plenty of doctors with packed-full lobbies, and yet I didn’t have to wait more than ten minutes. What’s wrong with this? Complete lack of respect when you think you’re time is so much more important than everyone else’s. I even asked if they were running behind and the girl at the desk told me the doctors weren’t running behind but triage was, so I’d be fine. Dr. Benson is good, but very difficult to actually see for an appointment. Late for every appointment, once for 2 hours. I had an appointment that the office cancelled and couldn't get back in for 7 weeks. Then that appointment was cancelled and rescheduled for the following month. Then that appointment was cancelled. I figured I must not be real important as a patient. Three cancelled appointments in a row made me switch to a different doctor.

Dr. Benson is outstanding! She is one of the best doctors I have ever worked with. She is always willing to go the extra mile. She has a busy practice but does whatever is needed to get the patients needs met.. I feel 100% comfortable with her and the staff is amazing too! I would recommend to anyone and consider her and Dr. Singh the best in Vegas!

Took my relative for her appt. Had a more then two hour wait, no soft seating so it was super uncomfortable for what amounted to a two minute exam and none of her heart issues were addressed or dealt with. Super unimpressed will be signing her up with a new doctor

If she would just keep her appointments " on time - on target" would be a good start. I don't think she actually does surgery - has others in office to do that. Being seen by Dr Benson is always a positive experience. She explains things very well. The trick is getting to the exam room to be seen. Your appointment may be for 10:00 a.m. and you arrive on time. But chances are you won't see Dr. Benson until noon or 1:00 p.m. Wait times at this practice are RIDICULOUS. Mine have averaged about two hours each visit, with one even exceeding three hours. They are understaffed. Not enough doctors and not enough technicians. Stop overbooking.

Her staff is one of the most unprofessional staff I have came across. It is hard driving from Arizona to Las Vegas and learn your appointments have changed. After 3 to four times my husband has decided not to continue as a patient. However doctor Benson is an excellent doctor but seems to be oblivious to her staff. If you have to go and see her I recommend you call first to see if you still have an appointment that day. Otherwise stir clear find another doctor.

I have been associated with the medical field for over 30 years and i am very particular about which doctors that I see and I am very cautious to recommend a doctor to others. Dr. Benson is an exception! She professional, nice, she remembers details and she is punctual as possible. Dr. Benson, is very organized, she is a specialist in both Internal and Cardiac medicine. She is one of the top 5 doctors that a patient can see in the Las Vegas Valley. She accepts most insurance!

great she took her time answered my questions i dont know of any doctors where you walk in and see a doctor. she is well worth any waiting time. Office smells. Overbooked. Looked like an asylum! I was a new patient with the sole purpose of having my pacemaker checked, they didn't bother to tell me until I had been there for 3 hours that they don't even have equipment that can check pacemakers! Wanted to make me come back 4 more times for unrelated tests before giving me an appointment to have my pacer checked by 3rd party! Benson just wants to bang my insurance for as many tests as possible before doing what I actually need. AVOID!

Fantastic Doctor, patient, understanding explains everything thoroughly and in common terms. She's great! The office staff is confused they can't get names right, they have problems calling in the correct prescriptions. Four trips to my pharmacy Three calls to the office and my prescription was wrong. The staff needs to be overhauled.

Dr. Benson is the most competent and caring cardiologist I have ever dealt with. She listens carefully to her patient and then acts according to what has been said, plus what she ascertains based on her excruciating detailed analysis. Her methodical treatment and how she categorizes each underlying and contributing causal element is unbelievable. I have been a keenly methodical person my entire life and I have never seen anyone as competent as her. She will earn your trust and keep it. Gary

Dr Benson had an emergency in the middle of her day. It was inconvenient for me, however, I rescheduled (the same day). She didn't stop until she saw all of her patients. I was close to her last patient. I never felt rushed or dismissed. She was attentive and caring. She realized and took care of issues that I had been telling my past doctors about for years. She made a great impression on me.
