Horrible oral surgeon, the receptionist is extremely rude and is passive aggressive. No wonder he's the only person that accepts Medicaid,because nobody would pay for his service.

Currently at the office, appointment was for 2:30. It’s currently 3:42 still not called in. This office is so unhygienic. The chairs legit have stains on them there is mold stains on the ceeling. The receptionist is rude. Very unprofessional. Should be closed down. Choose a new surgeon ! UPDATE. DID NOT NUMB TOOTH BEFORE EXCTRACTION. I polietly asked to be numbed they used gel and proceeded to yank my tooth out but he said “ im just going to check if its numb” i asked him to wait. He pulled it i felt everything. The nurse proceeded to APPOLOGISE then i was told i cant be seen in the office. They will be hearing from my lawyer!

Absolutely Fabulous! ???? Dr. Hallaian and his staff had me feeling so comfortable and cared for! I was quite anxious about removal of my lower wisdom teeth and a cracked molar, but this professional teams compassion and kind manners made me feel so at ease to be myself and crack corny jokes which is a plus! Worst experience ever. Rescheduled my appointment 4 times and then when I finally showed up they left me waiting in my freezing car for 30 minutes, after a 45 minute drive, and then decided to finally inform me that there was “no running water”. Was referred to this place through my dentist, back in November for a consultation and said they’d get back to me in 4 to 5 weeks with insurance confirmation for the procedure and now it’s been over 3 months after calling multiple times and leaving messages.. these people never answer their phones and pick and choose which calls to return apparently. I want to thank Dr. Hallaian and his staff for being so very compassionate. Last week I had to have my back molar out and I have a huge fear of dentists. Waited 3 months for an appointment to get a tooth extraction, was 20 minutes late due to accident/rain on 495,so I called them to let them know. They said that's fine. I get their and they say sorry we can't see you today,you have to reschedule smh. What a joke. Would not recommend this place

Excellent staff, excellent surgeon! I had to have a few teeth pulled and I was so nervous to have this done. This dentist and his staff were so sympathetic and made me feel so at ease. I saw him today to remove 6 upper teeth. This is hands down the most compassionate dentist (and oral surgeon) i have ever had work on me. He was very gentle and had great bedside manner. Answering machine gives misinformation on their days and hours of operation. Left two messages and NO ONE HAD THE CURTESY, DECENCY OR PROFESSIONALISM TO RETURN MY CALLS!!! Dr. Hallaian was recommended to me by another dentist for an extraction, but I guess the dentist who recommended me was not aware of his unprofessionalism.

Went to the new appointment at the time I was told and she said I was late and couldn’t be seen for another 2 months. Once again I have never encountered a nastier receptionist.

In February, boyfriend and I were searching around for places that take his insurance for him to get his wisdom teeth out. We finally came across this place that told us they did. He made an appointment and waited a few months for it. Finally he went and got checked and they told him they just had to wait to run his insurance. Btw, whoever was at the front desk was completely nasty as well. They said it would take a week or so and that they would call him. A few weeks go by and they had never called him. Regular dentist personally made appointment for husband to be done today because insurance expiring. Husband heard phone call. Called to verify time this morning and were told not for another 2 weeks. Told secretary insurance is only good until 11:59PM today. I got upset while husband on phone and yelled in background(extremely stressful time no job and losing insurance )but NOT at secretary and husband was very polite. She hung up. He called back 3 times before getting her again and was told they would not see him at all because I was upset in background. I left about 6 messages for someone to call me back and they never returned my phone calls. I finally was able to get a receptionist on the phone and she was incredibly rude. I can’t say much for the doctor because I never had a chance to make an appointment, they wanted to schedule me for an appointment 5 months from now even after stating my daughter was in pain. I just got home from getting a lot of removal of teeth that were hidden under a permanent bridge for 30 years and the Dr. and Mary a nurse and one other nurse that held my hand the nature time. They were unbelievably sweet and caring for my needs I do not like the dentist because I was born with not good teeth so they my life until my early 20s I was horrified by a dentist or surgery of the mouth but they made this the easiest and very careful due to coronavirus as well . Great dentist! Highly recommend!! Dr.Hallain is the most caring dentist! He was gentle and extracted my wisdom teeth within half hour! I was not sedated and didn't feel a thing! Staff were wonderful! Office is clean.

I got 3 wisdom teeth extracted about a week ago- recovery was pretty quick & the procedure was 1 2 3. Both the nurse & Dr. Hallaian were so comforting.. I really felt like I was in good hands. As others have written here, the office is nothing short of a Zoo. They did not file medicaid papers correctly and instead of refiling correctly they decided to put a senior on a fixed income in for collection. They know I can't pay but they have decided to hurt me anyway. The dentist who referred me to them has used this same medicaid card before my visit the the Zoo and after my visit to the Zoo. With so many good dentists around why use Hallaian. Follow up. 3 years and they are still sending bills for $20. Seems to me they spend hundreds of dollars trying to collect $20 from a senior citizen. My experience with this surgeon and his office was unpleasant. Not only was it an inconvenience in location, but the communication between the Dr. and his whole staff was extremely poor! The receptionists rarely ever pick up the phone, they NEVER call you back, and on top off that Dr. Hallaian was very hasty, rude and did not communicate clearly. When I first got my implant done, they NEVER informed me that I was not going to get an abutment/post with him. At the time I was very unaware on the process of implants, hence relying on him to educate me and take me step by step on the journey. When it was time to go back to my dentist so he can make me a crown, he told me I had no abutment after the secretary said that I do. I had to go back to his office (92 miles away) to check on what was going on. I've referred 1000's of patients to Dr. Hallaian over many years, and only 1 out of about 3000 had anything negative to say, and I won't comment on his personality. Many downtrodden people with Medicaid are very unhappy with their own lives and express this against others. He and I have tried to give back to our communities by accepting lower paying insurance policies that MOST other dentists avoid. Instead of many of these patients appreciating us, they feel entitled, some are very difficult to treat and associate with. This is the worst dental practice I've ever visited. After going through an exam and X-rays and was told to get clearance from my cardiologist due to my blood-thinner meds, I never received a follow-up tooth extraction appointment during the three weeks since that first visit. When you call the office you rarely get a live person answering the phone and when you leave a message for a callback, you don't hear back from them or it would take days to get a response and when you do, you just get a runaround in setting up a follow-up appt. I'm not sure what office the negative reviewers we're at. They got me right in to extract my broken tooth the day I called, the office was spotless, and everyone from the receptionists to the hygienists and of course Dr Hallaian were fantastic!!!!

so I had to get 5 teeth removed. 4 where my wisdom and one was a chipped tooth. My surgery was done in less than a hour. The staff was very polite the dentist was very honest with me and told me what could be done now or later. I decided to get everything done since I was there already. I followed the steps for the post surgery they told me and what a recovery! Such a clean extraction that I only had pain a few hours after surgery which I used ibuprofen and didn’t feel a thing. Even though the building is a little outdated but that doesn’t matter to me. Also there X-ray system is top of the line you do not have to bite down on anything it is a very comfortable process. 5 stars so I had to get 5 teeth removed. 4 where my wisdom and one was a chipped tooth. I had a cyst in my jaw. This office jerked me around for 6 months and never did the surgery. The receptionists are rude and didnt care one bit to even check my chart. Only time they will hear from me is thru a lawyer if I discover there is any permanent damage. The dr might be great but the staff are completely useless.

I heard one person at the front desk talking to someone about buying a car. All the while no one told me they were running late, or anything. The one who's been waiting since 2 finally got called in at 3:00. I was not waiting any longer. I had my wife get the referral back and I left. Went in to his office yesterday right after lunch to try to make an appointment for 2 extractions, one of them being a badly damaged wisdom tooth. The Dr and his staff took my right in and made me feel at ease very quickly. They could not have been nicer and informative as they were doing the procedure. Yes I had a little pain when the novacaine was going in, but I fully understood the need to make sure it was really really numb. While they were doing the extractions I felt nothing. I left there with a full set of instruction, that were explained to me, and written down a paper. It is now the next day and I have almost zero pain. Thank you Dr. and staff for making this such a pleasant experience. Would highly recommend this office to anybody. I left 3 messages during the hours that they said they were in the office and no one ever got back to me.

I wouldn’t recommend this surgeon. It was nearly impossible to get an appointment for an EMERGENCY wisdom teeth removal. Then when I finally did it was 5 weeks in advance. Only for them to call me a week before and cancel it!!! Never again!

The staff and Dr were great ! ! Very calming and my daughter was very nervous! It was finished so quickly four wisdom teeth out and with very little pain! They answered every question we had and gave great instructions.

well i cant say much about his personality because i didn't spend much time taking with him. however having 20 extractions i was scared to death, but before i knew it i was sedated and only slightly awake i could only feel him working away,,,with in an hour this man was done and i felt know pain. so i will say this, after all my worrying this man not only put me a ease but i can't imagine any oral surgeon doing a better job. i would recommend him to even a family member! you can trust him.

Dr.Hallain is a professional, informative, and caring oral surgeon. I would highly recommend him.

Love this doctor I had two teeth removed yesterday. Everyone in the office is very nice they answered all my questions and my concerns I'm not in any pain this dr. Is wonderful I would highly recommend him

Dr. Hallain was amazing!! I had many teeth pulled yesterday and I am having barely any discomfort today. Dr Hallaian and his staff were all so nice and soo comforting it really was a great experience. Everyone there was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this office to anybody in need of an oral surgeon!

Rude dentist, very unfriendly most of the staff.

As others have written here, the office is nothing short of a Zoo. They did not file medicaid papers correctly and instead of refiling correctly they decided to put a senior on a fixed income in for collection. They know I can't pay but they have decided to hurt me anyway. The dentist who referred me to them has used this same medicaid card before my visit the the Zoo and after my visit to the Zoo. With so many good dentists around why use Hallaian.

Dr. Hallaian's staff made a mistake in filing for Medicaid and instead of resubmitting the paperwork correctly they decided to hurt a senior citizen who has no way of paying. My medicaid card was used by the dentist who referred me to him, my card was active when they submitted the paperwork, my card is active now. This is not a honest nor fair way to run a I am on a fixed income & this is not fair.

was put on hold as soon as I called by the secretary on 10-1-14 at 10:02 am until 10:07 am and then hung up and called back and was put on hold again from 10:08 am until 10:14 am and hung up again and then gave up
