Office staff is very kind and helpful. Dr Scharf listens, explains and makes sure the pt is part of the decision making. He was very accommodating of my schedule.

Office staff was very kind and accommodating. Dr Scharf listened to my problems, explained the options and did not seem in a hurry as I asked questions.

Great Dr, He made me feel very comfortable and I have bad anxiety about hospitals even more with covid. I would recommend him to everyone and he will continue to be my go to for all ENT.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Read the reviews..DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE...RUN, DON'T WALK. Poor treatment, talked down to, doesn't listen to your educated answers, abrasive, and rude. A Pediatricians office should NOT be treating children, let alone talking to the parents like they are stupid and uninformed. We wouldn't BE at this office without seeing OTHER DOCTORS..we are the victims and are not at this office to be ABUSED and left seeking MORE answers.

Did a excellent job on my first surgery ever. Dr. Scharff is very down to earth. Highly recommend him.

I thought he was awesome. Very laid back and friendly, answered all my questions and was able to do procedure in office to check for any problems in my throat. Definately go back if needed

Dr. Scharf is an excellent doctor, kind, patient and honest in the best approach to resolving problem. I returned after years and again found him to be excellent and considerate of my time and wellbeing.

Dr. Scharf is very nice and easy to speak with. However, I asked him a question about the inner ear, and instead of giving me a medically relevant and scientifically accurate answer, he said,"that's just the way god made us." Dr. Scharf told me he couldn't fix my deviated septum because if he tried my nose would sag . So I went to another Dr. And he was able to fix my septum with no sagging . So I guess in Dr. Scharf's 20 years he admittedly has no idea how to fix a deviation without ruining your nose . I am glad I got a second opinion . Now because of another Dr. That had confidence, knowledge of his practice, and ability, I can breathe through both nostrils ..... and my nose didn't collapse !!! The staff is very rude. Dr.Scharf's bed side manner is lacking. I understand thst the other doctor is better and nicer.

Staff is rude, incompetent and lazy. Doctor Scharf is very nice. I wish he would note my account correctly. I have hole in eardrum and was told by him if I have any problems to get in and see him immediately. Staff refused to listen and told me said to make appointment. I have had a persistent cough and was referred to Dr. Scharf. As a first time patient check in was smooth. I waited less than 5 minutes and was seen on time. Dr. Scharf was attentive and through. He then moved me to another room for the scope procedure. The procedure was quick and painless. Dr. Scharf came back to the room and explained his observations and course of treatment. I would and have recommended Dr. Scharf to others since I was his patient. I found him to be professional, informative, kind, caring and extremely helpful in answering my questions. He took his time explaining everything and was never in a rush to get out the door. His personality is a wonderful tribute to him and a his interest in the welfare of his patients is very obvious. I highly recommend him and am so pleased that I was fortunate enough to be his patient!! I felt extremely confident in his care!!!

A friend of mine had taken her son to see him yesterday. Her son had a sleep study done and it was found out that he has sleep apnea. Dr. Scharf was only concerned whether or not the boy was going to hit him, fearing he is autistic (he was diagnosed as NOT autistic). He kept on asking why a 5 year old was given a sleep study? Had Dr. Scharf NOT run out of the room after a cursory glance up his nose and in his ear, he would have found out that the boy does not sleep through the night, waking up no less than 2 times, and that is why he needed the study done, as they think it may be tonsils and adenoids causing his issues. And then, after proclaiming that there was no problem with him and that there was nothing that he could do for him because 1 in 25,000 bleed out after a tonsillectomy, refused to do anything more for them. Exceptionally patient focused! Encourages questions and engages in dialogue. Very knowledgeable. Couldn’t be more pleased. I’ve had several consultations with him.

Have seems Dr Scharf for vertigo, sleep apnea and just recently for sudden hearing loss. Seems impatient, short, doesn’t want to discuss problems. “I am the doctor I am right go away and stop bothering me” attitude. Yes, I know doctors are busy and over-worked.... but if you treat patients like they are a bother they won’t come back.

Dr. Scharf was very short and rude with my autistic son. If you have a special needs child, this is not the person to take him to...you will be frustrated if you do.

Dr. Share is a awesome Dr, but policy for being able to do a self pay sucks if you have wrong Medicaid insurance

Dr. Scharf has been wonderful to my husband in dealing with his skin cancer, and always nice to me also, we appreciate his kindness!

Very snippy and no patience for kids. Seen him years ago when my son was 2. He was way better. Not sure what happened in the years since but we won't be coming back.

He is an example of how you doctor. Very kind and caring, very personable. Takes your care personally and is willing to work with you on finding a solution to the problem. Have not met one friendly staff member though. In fact one is quite combative and I was considering switching even though he is one of the good ones. Then he called himself and explained things and just took the time to really doctor.
