I had three visits with this office, the last one was the determining factor that I will never go back. The first two experiences weren’t too bad, but nothing over the top, mediocre best. The last visit was absolutely horrible. I’m not sure if the assistant that was working with me was having a bad day or what. But after her being rude for the entire visit I expressed kindly that it was beginning to be a problem. It only got worse from there. After that I assume she went out of the room and told the entire office something about it and that resulted in the remainder of the visit being extremely awkward, rude, and unprofessional. I honestly wanted to walk out after a few minutes of this lady attempting to do her job, but I didn’t want to be rude or confrontational. However, the results were a horrible experience, and I regret not walking out. I’m usually not one to leave bad reviews, but the experience I had was so bad that I felt the need to share. Hopefully it motivates them to improve their performance and patient care in the office while also being informative to the public.

My family had been visiting for a few days from out of town. I noticed my contact lens had an uncomfortable tear in it. Called first thing upon opening on a Friday morning where they took my prescription checked for a sample and had it ready within minutes of calling. They were friendly, helpful, and very generous!

I got something in my eye Sunday afternoon while on vacation & couldn't flush it out. I called Monday morning and they were able to get me in. Everyone was very friendly, kind & professional. They worked with my insurance and didn't charge me an arm & a leg. They prescribed drops for a scratched cornea & I was on my way. I highly recommend!!! Great experience here. I broke my buddies glasses in half by accident. We went here to see if we can get them fixed or a replacement frame. Very helpful. Amanda and Marsha went above and beyond.

Awesome customer service!!! I was in town on my honeymoon and lost a contact. I called to see about a trial pair and the ladies at this office were so helpful they checked THREE times to make sure they could help me find as close as a match possible to my toric lenses. I do appreciate them for helping me see again ????

We are on vacation and my daughter’s eye glasses broke. We dropped in to see if they could repair them and they graciously were happy to help us! So incredibly thankful for their help!!

I'm on vacation in Pigeon Forge and my contact ripped. I called to ask if they could help me get one pair of contacts to get me through vacation and they were helpful without question. Quality and professional care, concern and friendly staff.

Staff was amazing, caring and helpful. They went over and above to care for myself and the other patients in the office.

Acacian and forgot my contacts. Contacted their office and they gave me a few days to get by knowing that I could not use their facility on a regular basis great people fantastic I would recommend anyone

My daughter had an accident with her glasses while on vacation. Not only did they get us in right away they were kind and understanding. They took care us of completely.

I was in town on vacation and had an issue. They were able to get me in and took great care of me! Super friendly staff and very helpful. If I lived there I would highly recommend.

My lense popped out of my glasses while on vacation here. They were able to put it back for me (I have the lenses that are held in by a type of plastic string). This office fixed them for me very quickly! So nice!!!

Dr Whaley's staff are wonderful!! We were on vacation in the Smokey Mountains and my son lost his glasses on a river tube ride. They seen us first thing the next morning and gave him contacts, solution, and a case so he could see and we could enjoy the rest of our trip. While on vacation... Had issue with husband’s contacts and had no spares with us. One phone call and a short wait on hold... Ladies in the office had just what we needed. They went above and beyond to help us out in a bind without charging us an arm & leg. Definition of southern hospitality. Greatly appreciated!

I called at 8 AM on Friday morning with something being in my eye since Monday that my primary care doctor said was an infection, it was not. I was told by a very nice lady who answered the phone to be there by 9 AM if I could. I did and it took Dr Whaley one needle and three different size forceps to get the particle out of my eye. He worked and worked on me until he finally was successful , thank goodness. I come in contact we have four people in the office and everyone of them were absolutely unbelievably professional and nice. Don't take walk ins and "next available appointment is in June". It's November. Highly doubt they are THAT busy. .... Maybe if you were more concerned for patients instead of google reviews then you would have time to take new people.

When my glasses broke they were really helpful they fixed them for no charge and they were really nice and helpful.

When i was on vacation i lost a contact on vacation and they were nice enought to replace if for me for free

I recommend Dr. Whaley to everyone. My visit was exceptional as usual. Dr. Whaley and his staff make you feel like family. Great experience with a caring doctor. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I had a contact emergency while out of town and my doctor back home was completely unwilling to work with me to be able to get new contacts from WalMart (they don't carry my brand). So I called Whaley and even though they don't carry my brand in stock, they GAVE ME 2 pair of samples so that I could have contacts for the rest of my vacation! Highly recommend this place to anyone in the Sevier area! The worst customer service when it came to replacing the inferior eyeglass frames they sold us. Go to 20/20 optical in sevierville instead . Very nice people and better quality frames .

Saved my vacation. Awesome place!!!!

This is the very best place to go for Glasses. They are true professionals. Sometimes bifocals can be a little tricky for the lab to get right. It took a couple of times of sending my glasses back to the lab to get them just right. I now have the perfect pair of glasses!
