Dr. Kenneth Alan Carle

I went to Apex for foot neuropathy. Even after being told by my neurologist there is no cure I was desperately trying to find relief. Their treatment was injections of vitamins in the feet 14 of them per trip. After 160 injections nothing had improved Dr Carle wanted me to take 160 more. I called it quits, the people there couldn't be nicer, but I was not impressed with the improvement. I just have to accept the fact that there is no cure for neuropathy no matter how badly i want it

After an initial consult with Dr. Carle and his nurse practitioner, I was hopeful that a new machine that he acquired would treat and potentially heal my foot drop.Therefore, I agreed to treatment twice a week for a span of several weeks. Currently, in receipt of the final billing for services rendered at Dr. Carle's office, I feel the need to comment on my unfavorable experience there. On the first visit, the individual assigned to me thought I was there for back pain. Upon learning it was treatment for foot drop, she commented, "This machine does not treat foot drop. Who told you that?" At that point Dr.Carle was brought in and the two of them fumbled through directions for how to proceed with treatment on my foot. Although small in the scheme of things, there was another blunder on another visit. While being treated, I received a phone call from Dr. Carle's office attempting to schedule an appointment; I was in the office! At another appointment, responding to the direction of office staff, I went back and forth (with my foot drop) from one floor to another trying to determine where treatment was for that day. Furthermore, on another occasion, after the tech left the room, it became quite apparent to me that the setting on the electrical stimulator attached to my leg was too high. I yelled out for help. The tech returned and adjusted. The staff actually chuckled about their blunder! In the course of about 10-12 treatments there was never an inquiry into the effectiveness of this treatment or an expressed desire to modify treatment. For example, in rereading an email from Dr. Carle prior to treatment, he mentioned that based on the nerve conduction study, he would first treat the knee area, but at some point may need to alter treatment and address the lower back area. Again, no inquiry or intervention with regard to any progress in this treatment was ever made. Quite frankly, I never saw Dr. Carle after the first visit. As a result of the aforementioned, on my last visit to this office I made the decision not to reschedule for the next week. Since then (the latter part of August, 2021), I have received no communication from this office other than their bill for the copays they did not consistently collect at each appointment. Finally, my condition never improved. Looking back, perhaps the tech who did not think the machine treated foot drop was probably right! It did not help me, but equally important to me is the fact that no one really cared! It was nothing more than a money grab! I went to Dr Kenneth Carle for a second opinion to see if I needed back surgery and 15 years later I am living my best life. With my shots and Lazer therapy Dr Carle has kept me living a good life.. 5 years ago I broke my left ankle..one bone in 5 places. I signed in and they handed me a urine container for a drug test without even saying hello. They lied and told me that it was a law that they had to test for drugs before they saw you. I was not there for pain management. I was there for neurological reasons and did not want any pain medication and I was not on any. They put me in a small room during Omicron and gave me the 5th degree about this drug test. I was not even a patient of this doctor and I had not hired him yet. I might have gotten COVID as a result of their behavior. It was insulting. They treated me like I was a street drug addict. They never told me what they were testing for or the cost of the test. They did not even call me by my name yet. They knew nothing about my insurance. I refused the test. I asked them why should I take a drug test when I was not there for pain and when I had not even hired Dr. Kenneth Carle yet. Their behavior was despicable!!!

Dr. Carle is an amazing doctor. He truly cares about his patients. He takes the time to explain, reassure and go the extra mile for you. After years of doctors, tests, X-rays etc. I found my miracle! Dr. Carle gave me a diagnosis. He never gave up. Now I receive treatments for my condition and he is continually looking for other ways to help my pain. A compassionate man who will never give up on you. His staff is amazingly helpful, friendly and caring. What a team they make. I thank God for Dr. Carle ???? Dr. Carle is an amazing doctor. Dr Carle is the best of the best! I got discharged from the hospital and was still having back complications , I called Dr Carle and got a same day appointment for a procedure and the next day I am feeling 1000x better. He has healing hands , definitely an amazing doctor

I cannot say enough good things about the care I've gotten from Dr. Carle for my chronic low back pain. For the past three years I have been treated by my PCP, then a neurosurgeon who dropped me after 2nd surgery, then a regional multi center pain management practice where I was treated like a drug addict or a child. I found Dr. Carle seven months ago and was immediately blown away by his calm compassion and eagerness to do whatever necessary to treat my pain effectively. I was comfortable for the first time in over a year within several days of seeing him. He seems to have a range of interventions which he employs as needed. I have had multiple back injections and he is a wizard with the needle. He is always available when I have episodes of increased pain. He seems to be open and honest about the goals of treatment and the desirability of keeping the drug dosages as low as possible without jeopardizing effectiveness and comfort. He has made life worth living again.

Extremely disappointed this doctor. I made it clear from the beginning that I did not have this kind of money to lose. Dr. Carle assured me of how this stem cell therapy would work! Now I am out the money and still in severe pain, the double whammy! Don’t lie to patients about stem cell therapy working! I couldn’t believe how they were so eager to swipe your credit card as soon as you arrive! Disgusting and dishonest business.

I have been with Dr. Carle for almost over 3 yrs now and it took me 7 yrs to find a great Dr like him. Who truly cares about you and your issues and not just for the money ! You are seen by just one Dr and not whoever is working that day. Literally 3 people in his office at all times. He has wonderful bed side manners. Listens to you and he gave me as much quality of life thats possible for me back. So, thank you Dr Carle for all you do for me and so many others !

Dr Carle is GREAT, I'm trying the laser treatment for my knee, no more pills

I've been dealing with severe migraines my whole life and went to see Dr Carle to seek alternative methods outside of prescription pain pills. Dr. Carle and staff were all very friendly. I felt like everyone truly cared about my well being and Dr. Carle and Ashly actually listened to me and gave me some great alternative options to prescription pain pills. I'd heard a lot about stem cell treatments. I went to a lecture. I investigated further and read all I could find. I toyed with the idea of getting treatment. I wondered if my diabetic 'frozen shoulder' symptoms (which were constant and limited normal activity) could be helped with stem cells. The question came down to, "What are you willing to pay to not be in pain?" I didn't want to flirt with addiction by taking pain killers. I attended a seminar Stem Cell Centers was putting on was very impressed. Found the information very interesting and decided to do the free consultation to meet with Dr. Carle and staff to discuss my osteo-arthritic knee and chronic back pain. I really appreciated the time Dr. Carle took to spend with me explaining the treatment and what to expect. I did have a little built of stiffness and minor soreness for the first week after the injection but that went away and then gradually over the next month or 2 my knee started getting better. Prior to getting the treatment I struggled getting in and out of a chair and walking up and down steps or even going to the grocery store. Stem cells for chronic pain, recovery from injury, I had thought of as science fiction, a treatment perhaps reserved for the ultra-rich. Today, thanks to having forward thinking caring doctors like Dr.Kenneth Carle these therapies are available right here in Baltimore and have worked wonders for me. I work out all the time and have a number of orthopedic issues. Every injury or pain site I have has enjoyed a stem cell treatment, and I don’t have nearly the same chronic pain and its done with no surgery and no recovery. Had been looking into Stem Cell Therapy for my right shoulder. Came across an add in the paper for Stem Cell Centers and Dr. Kenneth Carle in Towson and set up a free consultation. Office was easy to find on Osler Drive right across the street from St. Joseph's hospital in the Osler Medical Center. The staff was very friendly and took the time to educate me in detail on stem cells and how they work. I decided to go through with the treatment same day. For me it took about 2 months and then I started to realize I was pain free. Now my mobility and strength is almost back to 100% and I have been pain free since February. Dr. Carle has treated my husband for low back pain for over 10 years. He is excellent. He has also treated me for hip pain, for which I eventually had a hip replacement.

I have been seeing Dr Carle for two years. He listens and is extremely compassionate. I don't know how I would manage without him. I was hoping I wouldn't need shots after surgery, but they are still a part of my pain management program. He is pretty darn good at hitting the bulls eye with the shots. Just wish they would last longer and take all the pain away.

A few years ago, I was in a car accident that left me in constant pain.I learned that Dr.Carle offered laser therapy, and knew I needed to try this out.Well, my whole back is covered in a tattoo, and the first time we tried the laser therapy, the ink held in the heat, and my skin got hot in a matter of minutes.Dr.Carle was super bummed, but determined to help.After going to a conference, and discussing my case, he was able to find a way to make the laser work, and significantly decrease my pain!
