I went for my initial consultation on June 8, 2022 with Dr. Markle, he and his staff are very professional yet friendly and he explained my case very clearly. I felt I am in good hands for my future treatment!

Very thorough and informative.

Dr. Markle removed a back molar in preparation for an implant. The root was infected, and I had a 10+ year old crown. I find Dr. Markle friendly and very accommodating. He answers my questions, and many of them, in a language form that is easy to understand. This will be my fourth implant over a 10 year span and have experienced no pain regarding the procedures either during or after. I would recommend Dr. Markle without reservation.

My teeth were in an advanced state of decay and continued deterioration. Dr. Markle’s approach to solving the problem is very systematic, clearly explaining every phase of the process to me. The plan is a very complex set of surgeries that, when completed, will result in a strengthened jawbone and a set of implants with will provide support for permanent dentures. The work is still in progress. However, with what have been accomplished so far, I am already a very satisfied patient.

Dr Markel explains thing very well and takes time to listen. I’m very pleased with the quality of care I received here for periodontal issues and highly recommend this practice.

I was in need of some very complex reconstructive surgery. Dr Markle exceeded all of my expectations and did so with minimal pain or down time. I have nothing but the highest praise for his manner and expertise.

Excellent professional care

Have been seeing Dr. Markel for about 5 years and he has always been kind, courteous and knowledgeable. He answers all questions and does not rush you. I know have my teeth cleaned regularly there to make sure none of my “old” problems reappear and his staff is just as professional and kind as him.

My visit as always, was highlighted by friendly, professional, highly competent doctors and staff. I especially like interfacing with Dr. Herman. She is personable, professional and explains all procedures completely. She is a pleasure to work with.

One of the best, medical professionals I have visited. Super informative (explained things in perfect balance of layman’s terms & technical terms) and kind. Everyone at Dr. Markle’s office followed his example (that’s what I figured) and were also helpful and kind. I imagine it is rare to leave a periodontist’s office looking forward to a surgery, but I feel confident I will be in excellent hands, so I (kinda) look forward to it… if there is such a thing as looking forward to surgery :) P.S. I’m not surprised his reviews are all 5 stars!

The office was clean with Covid protocols. Staff was courteous and greeted me with a smile. Hygienist , Laura , called me back immediately. All three helped with my dentist anxiety. As I had concerns about my teeth, we discussed that before she started cleaning, She answered my questions as she was cleaning about my problem areas. When Dr Markle came to check my teeth, He too looked at pockets was made aware of areas that I was concerned about by Laura. Anxiety level always goes down when he says your pockets are stable.

As always, Dr. Markle and staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. Megan was very friendly, professional and helpful in cleaning my teeth below the gum line. I do this as a preventative maintenance thing. I’ll be back to see them in one year. I’m going once a year. Thanks Dr. Markle, Megan and staff!

I've had several procedures done by dr. Markle. Its ALWAYS pain free, they make you feel relaxed Front desk very professional and helpful. Dr. Markle always called at the end of the day to check on me. I would recommend him to everyone. He takes time w you and explains everything.

Everything went well, amazing dental technicians who check your records while keeping you relaxed and comfortable during the cleaning process. Also had rigorous covid-19 protocols in place for everyone's protection.

Dr.Markel and his staff are so Awesome! First, they accommodated my busy schedule, since i live in another state. I had to have a gum graft due to receding gums. He spent so much time evaluating my teeth and explained what needed to be done. After the procedure, I had very little pain, just a little discomfort and swelling. And they provided a "goody bag" which had enough food for my first meal, a tea bag for bleeding, and information for what to expect. I highly recommend him and his knowledgeable staff. He takes a dreadful procedure and turns it into a pleasant situation!

Dr Markel and his staff are top notch. They are excellent at what they do and very professional doing it. Diagnosed my issue and gave me a solution.

I was scheduled for Scaling and Root Planing and I was pleased with the work Laura did on my teeth. She explained the procedure and was gentle in her work. I thanked her afterwards for her caring ways as I have a little problem when my head is lower than my feet. I left without any concern about returning for the other half of my teeth needing the Scaling and Root Planing. Thank you Laura.

I had serious Periodontal problems and looked for good specialist. I found a great one in Dr. Markle and his staff. He walked me thru the procedures necessary for my treatment: he and the staff treated me over a few months, including necessary surgery. Im almost healed and am grateful for their work. They let you know all costs up front and can assist in an interest free payment plan if necessary. I highly recommend Baton Rouge Perio.

On my last visit, when I was supposed to have surgery, he asked me to fill out and sign a questionnaire. The form started with stating, along these lines: your doctor has discussed with you these risks, etc. (a) ..... (b)..... (c),,,,, (d) etc., none of which he had discussed with me. I declined to fill out and sign it since it was not true. I left his office.

Went for semiannual cleaning and evaluation. Service was thorough and professional. Staff was very cordial and helpful. Environment was Covid 19 ready. I recomnend Dr. Markle snd staff to all.
