At the office on time again my visit was very quick, received a lot of information. Looking forward to my next visit with him to get the problem resolved.

Dr. Morse is both amazing at what he does and has a wonderful bedside manner. The whole process of the consult, surgery and recovery was so smooth. I found the staff to be very kind and supportive the whole way through.

Dr. MORSE IS AWESOME .just did shoulder surgery on me and i was a little nerve wracked and his calm demeanor reassured me eased my anxiety..His bed side manner and knowledge and explanation of the procedure was very thorough...very professional..Highly recommend..??????????

I highly recommend Dr. Morse. He is honest, has great bedside manner, attentive to your needs, prompt, courteous and fantastic office staff. He makes things easy to understand. When you meet him for the first time it's like you have known him for awhile. Thrilled he was my surgeon!

Dr Morse was amazing! I was fortunate to have him as my surgeon after a skiing accident. He was very accommodating, knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. Surgery and follow up visits have been great. He answers all questions, gives great feed back and the appointments run on time. Dr Morse and Downeast Orthopedics are both top notch! Wonderful visit and great advice from Dr. Morse

Great doctor, answered all my questions, covered all information I needed to know for upcoming surgery

I was 14 when I started to have knee pain during sports. After a month or so, the pain started to get so bad I needed crutches to walk. I went to Dr. Morse, and he diagnosed me with an osteochondral lesion in my right knee. My family and I decided to let my knee rest and stay off of it to try and let it heal. My family moved to Arizona during this process. After, pain was not better, so, we saw a surgeon in the area, where I was diagnosed with osteochondritis dissecans. After a surgery that involved drilling and placing a screw in my knee to increase blood flow. The recovery was grueling and after 3 months I came off of my crutches with mobility no more than a 40 degree bend in my knee being able to happen. After PT and strength training. I thought I was in the clear. My knee felt decent, still a bit weak, but good enough to play sports again. This surgery made me miss my sophomore year of football, and basketball. During physical therapy, a minor setback of drop foot occurred but went away within a month. I then noticed pain in my knee. All around this time instead of a centered location. My fear was that I would need a cadaver, which is what I was told would happen if my surgery wouldn’t work. This cadaver would take me out my entire junior year, and make it a struggle to play my senior year with any level of competitiveness. My surgeon in our area said this was the next option. I did not accept it. I could not miss any more. I worked too hard to get my athleticism back after the first surgery. In the summer after my sophomore year, we went to Maine to see Doctor Morse again. He decided we could do an arthroscopy to clean up my knee. This gave me hope. If this worked, I could walk in it the next day, and be fully recovered within a few weeks. Doctor Morse did the surgery, cleaned up many layers of unwanted debris in my knee, including taking out the screw from my original surgery as it was falling apart. I had no pain after this surgery. Here I am, almost 9 months later, I have played a full year of basketball, and half way through my baseball season in my junior year. Dr. Morse throughout the whole process made me feel heard, gave me hope, and absolutely saved me. I do not know where I would be without sports. And I would not have sports, without Dr. Morse. Dr. Morse is very personable, took my pain and problem seriously, and provided timely treatment. He was the first/only doctor to do so in the 3 1/2 months from my injury to seeing him (during which time I saw two other orthopedists, one of which I saw 3 times!) the time I first saw him.

Dr. Morse is one of the best. He was very reassuring, patient and explained the MRI in detail. He listened to my concerns, reviewed current research and asked for any questions. He set my concerns at ease so I can think about my options. Highly recommend Dr. Morse as an orthopedic doctor.

Dr. Morse is THE BEST!! From the moment he walks in the room you feel like he's been your doctor for a lifetime. In our two cases he recommended we work through less invasive options before moving forward with surgeries. He has been my orthopedic doctor since 2019 and has been nothing but kind and helpful throughout this whole process with my hip!

Dr Morse is a pro.

Dr. Morse is a great doctor, he takes the time to sit with you and speaks in terms you understand. When you get older some doctors say, it comes with age there's nothing I can do, he never says that and always makes you feel comfortable. I'm very thankful for all he has done for me.

I was given the options for my knee which was the least disruptive for my work and when that did not meet my expectations, I was able pursue the alternate path that was more in tune with a correction even though a minor inconvenience for my daily routine.

Approximately seven months ago I had a freak accident , destroyed my left knee from a traumatic fall. Underwent ACL reconstructive surgery several months ago . Though the recovery was quite extensive, I now have gained strength, stability and function of my left knee. I am so very pleased with my progress and very thankful I found the right surgeon. I came to see Dr Morse after a previously failed knee surgery provided by a different surgeon at a different locale. I cannot say enough good about my experience at Downeast Orthopedic's and specifically with Dr. Morse. A completely different (easier) post-op experience and I expect to totally regain the use of my knee. Dr Morse is a true professional with a rare, wonderful, bedside manner. Dr. Morse was thoughtful and provided a thorough explanation, as well as numerous options and approaches for my injury. He has always given me the least invasive options first and pursues surgical options as a last resort. This is something I really appreciate. He made my son feel at ease with his second ACL surgery and what lies ahead. He answered all of our questions and gave us a way to contact him if we had more questions. Very personable.

He did a great job explaining exactly what he was going to do in layman's terms and I knew exactly what was going on at any time. He answered all my questions and is very friendly with a great sense of humor. Even though I was very nervous about my first surgery he made me feel comfortable and confident that he was going to put me back together! I am an active/athletic person and 5 months post surgery I am very happy with how my ACL has healed and the activities I have been able to get back into.
