I went in with a simple pink eye and she decided to give me oral antibiotics. She is incredibly rude and should not be allowed to practice medicine. I started taking the antibiotics and got progressively worse day by day and have 102 fevers daily. I ended up in the ER as I became septic. She also does not answer any messages. Sutter health needs to fire her!!

Here’s part of a note my 18-year-old daughter wrote to Dr. Ashling: “You walked into exam room already annoyed that I had nerve to return after 2 days. I Was so sick! You glanced at my throat and said: “There’s nothing more that we can do for you. You should be better by now. Clearly you have a tonsular abscess. You need to go to the emergency room. We tried to warn you.” We were stunned, but we left and spent the day at sequoia, where they determined I did *not* have an abscess. Fast forward 2 more days— we were lucky enough (through a lot of pushing and begging) to see an ENT doctor, who quickly established that I have a bad case of mono— and strep too. I wish you could have taken a few minutes to speak compassionately to us and to let us ask about mono, as we planned to do. Your behavior was upsetting and unprofessional. We wasted a day in the ER and then had to fight to find an ENT who would see me. I hope you will treat future patients with more compassion

Dr. Ashling took my problem seriously, even though it was only a canker sore on my tongue. She said hydrogen peroxide was too caustic. She said come back in a month if it had not healed.

We saw Dr. Ashling in urgent care when our 20 month old was very ill. She was incredibly rude, disrespectful and condescending. Avoid at all costs.

How is she even practicing medicine.. I went to urgent care in 2019 with with lower back pains and groin. Urgency, frequent, and burning during urination. She stuck a tongue suppressor, checked my tonsils and ordered check X-RAYS and sent me home... Next day i was back in urgent care with same symptoms and a low grade fever... Thank god i was seen by another doctor.

I went into urgent care with a neck sprain and was charged $30 for a neck brace without any explanation whatsoever that it was not covered by my insurance.

Saw her in two occasions at PAMF urgent care and both times her level of care was extremely subpar. The second time was particularly dreadful. She was very nonchalant about her diagnosis and never went over possible complications, which resulted in a trip to Sequoia ER 5 hrs later. She made a dosage mistake on an antibiotic prescription, and finally the culture she told us she was ordering never made it to the lab. Avoid at all costs!

I have been treated for her twice in urgent care PAMF San Carlos. She is just a very particular M.D. with little or no empathy for her patients and sadly she does not go that deep into your symptoms. Consequently, her prognosis need to be always double checked with a different doctor. My others doctors are always astonished that she even dared to suggest such things with no further examination or tests. She seems distracted and in a rush even when there's no one waiting
