My Moh's procedure with Dr Mott was a mess. A Mohs procedure should remove as little as possible in multiple slices. Dr Mott took out one big chunk all at once and did not suture it well. At 3 weeks post procedure I still have a big divot in my head. When I phoned Ideal Dermatology to tell them I wanted to come in to have it checked, Leslie said no and told me to wait a total of 8 weeks. I'm now going to other professionals to get it fixed. I have had multiple mohs procedures previously and know what good work looks like. I cannot recommend this surgeon at all. Go somewhere other than Ideal Dermatology if you have basal cell carcinoma.

His bed side manner is awful, he talks to his staff like they are beneath him and hes all about the money. I would not recommend him or his office.

Arrogant, rude, and incompetent: After receiving a skin biopsy finding of Basal Cell Carcinoma, I attempted to schedule surgery over an 8 week period. I was never able to reach a person at his office, but left 4 telephone messages over this two month period on Dr. Mott’s answering machine (in fact multiple messages at two different office numbers). No one bothered to return any of my telephone calls. Yes, I know that the Corona Virus has disrupted everyone’s life, but someone could have at least returned one of my telephone calls. Based on my experience, I concluded that Dr. Mott and his team are rude, arrogant, and/or incompetent. I will need to find another dermatologist to remove my pre-cancerous moles and suggest that others do the same.

I had an appointment with Dr. Kevin Mott on 3/26/19 in which he was very unprofessional. My appointment was for a PROCEDURE, not to discuss one; yet, Dr. Mott proceeded to belittle me by saying “if your medical concern is causing an interference in your life then you must have other problems because I can hardly see your [medical concern],” as if he is some kind of psychoanalyst. Dr. Mott then pointed to unrelated scars on my body (one of which is combat related) and insulted me for having it.

My elderly mother was treated by him with radiation for squamous cell carcinoma. Long story short, the treatment left a big gaping, infected wound that will not heal. He and his partner let this go on for months. We finally stopped going when we realized they are not capable of treating chronic wound conditions. The wound care surgeon wishes he would have referred her out MONTHS ago. One surgery down to remove the old dead tissue, and now likely a skin graft. You get a big fat F.

beginning to end - all people involved - experience with dr mott was excellent removed basal cell from nose at corner of eye - where another would see only challenge dr mott specifically referred to "opportunity" of doing work in that area results commendable - along with careful and thorough, the process was comfortable even pleasant - would recommend dr mott et al without any reservation !!!

Wonderful experience considering a not so wonderful diagnosis. Impeccable room and staff. Courteous, concerned and extremely competent at what they do. Unheard of ability to get in to see these professionals. Tumor removed in less than a week of first contact. Happy with post surgical appearance and outcome. After nearly 40 years in the medical field, I was and am impressed. Would not hesitate to reccomend this office and staff to anyone.

Procedure went well, and had great results. He explained things in plain English, and had good bedside manner. Office staff went above and beyond to help with scheduling. Great experience all around.

Finally a doc that is clear plain speaking and provides options that you can deal with. Just fantastic. (that includes the whole staff)

Dr. Mott and assistants performed a Mohs surgery on my nose. My result was excellent and he and his staff were wonderful and warm people! Even the pain shots into my nose were as painless as possible. And Dr. Mott is very easy to speak with - he is so very knowledgeable, kind and professional!

Dr. Mott is a wonderful doctor and surgeon! He lets you know exactly what he's doing and is constantly checking to see how you are doing during the Moh's surgery. He is also very friendly and wants you to ask any questions you have. Highly recommend him and his terrific staff!

Four weeks ago I had Mohs surgery on my nose for Basal Cell Carcinoma. I couldn't be happier with the results. After I took the bandage off a week ago many people have commented that it looks beautiful and they can't even tell. During the surgery, Dr. Mott kept me informed of what he was doing which helped reduce anxiety. The first day after the local anesthesia wore off I had some pain but Tylenol helped. Dr. Mott's expertise was instrumental in my excellent results.

I felt very comfortable with Dr. Mott. He was very careful with explaining things, what needed to be done and when. He is a great doctor!

Dr. Mott and his entire staff were very professional and did all they could to ease my anxiety and explain the procedure. Dr. Mott even answered the phone personally that first night to help me with concerns over some post surgical bleeding. I felt very well taken care of!

Very positive experience. I selected this provider after quite a bit of research and my experience with him as a surgeon validated my choice. He and his staff work hard to provide high quality diagnosis and after care. The atmosphere is calm and professional. While I appreciate the technical skills very much, I also just like him and respect this practice. I have recommended him to friends and family. If you are lucky you might get to say hello to Dolly (ask).

Dr. Mott and his team were very responsive. I was on a short visit to Boulder and I wasn't sure what level of work I needed done. His staff got me an appointment fast and Dr. Mott was very clear in his explanation of my choices to remove wrinkle from below my eyes and on my cheeks. We opted for the CO2 Laser. Dr. Mott did a Mohs procedure for skin cancer on my nose. He talked me through all the steps of the procedure and was super thorough before, during and after. His staff is wonderful, kind and supportive. Excellent care.

I needed to have a couple of unusual skin growths on my arm checked and I was able to get in to see Dr. Mott very promptly. His assistant Ashley and Dr. Mott were very thorough, kind and knowledgeable. They took a biopsy of the abnormal skin growths. I felt like I was in good hands. I'll be coming back to this fabulous practice.

Dr. Mott was calm and kind, which kept me calm. Everything was explained to me simply and fully.

A very pleasant experience. He got me in in a timely manner and I was able to schedule follow-ups very quickly. Everyone was friendly and professional and all my questions were answered. I will definitely come back to Dr. Mott and refer him to others.
