If I can give negative stars I would have. I went in to see Dr.Mullian about 2 weeks ago just for an annual and to get some questions answered. The first problem was the amount of time that I had to wait in the room for her to even come in was ridiculous, I waited over an hour just in the room. Then she came in, over talked me every time, I would ask a question, she would ignore it and then keep talking. I left without any answers. She is By Far the THE WORST Doctor I have ever seen in my life. If I can give negative stars I would have. Well, I never got in to see her. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes, an answering service said they were gone for the day. I responded that their answering machine said that they're open Mon-Thurs. 9:00-6:00. It was 3:00, they were GONE. The woman who answered giggled and said they were gone for the day, call back tomorrow. I said, yeah, if anyone is there. She said, well call after 9:00 haha. SO UNPROFESSIONAL.

I have been with Dr. Mullin for years, from babies to a hysterectomy and she's been there through it all. I have always had complete faith and peace of mind throughout all these major life events. I was not the average patient and required additional needs for a couple of these procedures and I had no doubt that everything would be ok with her as my doctor. She was right next to me for this last surgical procedure and I held her arm as I was put under. She knew my anxiety was high and she was the calming force I needed to keep my fears at bay. I am grateful for her kindness, support and vast knowledge which seems to always be needed in my case. She has always been and will continue to be worth the wait. I first came under Dr. Mullin's care after I found her following my first child's birth at another hospital/doctor's direction that didn't go well. I was planning for more children. My next pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and Dr. Mullin held my hand and gave me words of encouragement. She made me feel so much better! About a year later, Dr. Mullin delivered my next child. I have been going to Dr. Mullin for over two decades. I come to appointments with a list of my questions, if any. I realize sometimes she short on time (after all, she's delivering babies that don't keep schedules!), but she know me, my story, and my medical history. For this I am grateful and always will be! At first she seemed nice but slowly I started finding a lot of attitude in her personality. I told her I was planning on no epidural and she scoffed “yea right” She lost her cool when I didn’t get the COVID vaccine cuz I myself was afraid of getting it. When I didn’t show up to the next appointment they spammed my phone that I missed a very important appointment when the one prior she just kicked me out of the office “see you in two weeks hun” When I told her I had a doula she seemed offended “you don’t need one my nurses are great”….okay but my aunt got me a doula….and she’s not taking the nurses job….and she didn’t know my situation with who I wanted in the room…. When I transferred doctors I told the nurse I did not want to talk to her. I just couldn’t deal with it. Dr.Mullin walked in anyway to apologize for the COVID incident. Dude can you like respect any wishes? I told her whatever I could to make her go away. Being a single mom I’ve been struggling a lot as it is since the father walked out on his baby before she was born because he wants another woman. A doctor is supposed to respect your decisions and support you. At least that’s what I wanted from her being my doctor.I wouldn’t recommend her if you are already in a struggle with a pregnancy it only made my mental health worse. I am doing this alone and having her dictate how I’m doing this pregnancy was draining me. I gave them 380 a month just be treated that way. I might as well had gone that whole time without prenatal care and saved that money for my kid At first she seemed nice but slowly I started finding a lot of attitude in her personality. Every single appointment, APPOINTMENT, a SCHEDULED time,  I waited upwards of 45 or more minutes to see the doctor. My time with the doctor was less than 5 minutes... EVERY visit. Terrible bedside manner- not understanding to my concerns. She did not listen to my concerns. I have had pain in my side majority of my pregnancy, she told me it was because I used to have a belly ring..... ???? She lost her cool with me when I denied wanting to get the covid 19 vaccine while pregnant. When she asked me what number pregnancy this was for me, I said it was my 4th. she asked how many children did I have I said 1. she automatically assumed and said "oh did you terminate the others?" ummm... read my file and you'd dee that I actually have had 2 prior miscarriages. so cold. I have paid in office over $450 dollars per visit and still received bills in the mail for over $400... FOR WHAT. Save your money. Save your dignity. Enjoy your prenatal visits elsewhere!!! I have been going to Dr Mullin for 7 years & 2 pregnancies. She is great at what she does and very passionate and knowledgeable of her field. Personally, I don't go to her to talk for hours. I go to her to make sure my pregnancies went perfectly and my babies were healthy. She did exactly that! If you want a great OB who knows what she's talking about and answers your questions, SEE MULLIN. If you want a doctor that will sit there and talk to you, there's therapists for that. I will never not recommend Dr Mullin for all of women's health needs. I have been going to Dr Mullin for 7 years & 2 pregnancies. Summary: possible medical emergency not taken seriously. A very scary situation and I don't want anyone else to experience the same. My first visit at this office probably should have been my last. I had been wanting the Nexplanon implant for some time and was referred to Kimberly Mullin because my gyno didn't perform the procedure at her office. My first appointment involved routine questions and vitals...simply establishing myself as a patient. I felt heavily judged by the staff when answering some of these questions which should never happen in a professional medical setting. My second appointment involved getting the Nexplanon inserted. Within a week I started experiencing mild tingling in my hands and left foot. I called the office and they had me come in almost immediately. Dr. Mullin offered to take the implant out however, because she had never heard of these reactions with Nexplanon, it seemed as though it was unrelated. I decided to keep the implant in and go see a chiropractor instead (thinking it could be a back/spine issue). I believe Dr. Mullin handled these initial concerns properly. However, about a month later my symptoms started to intensify. I had general anxiety and depressive mood swings which I've never experienced before. I called the office with concerns on Wednesday (12/9). They offered to let me come in that Friday (12/11). Seeing as my symptomys weren't emergent and having to take work into consideration, I asked if I could come on a different day. They moved my appointment to Thursday the following week (12/17). By Thursday (12/10) my symptoms took a turn for the worst. I was experiencing extreme depression, horrible anxiety, insomnia, and I was crying uncontrollably. I called first thing Friday morning (12/11) in hopes that the original appointment they offered me was still available. They offered to let me move my appointment up to Monday (12/14). I accepted thinking I could get my symptoms under control and handle the next couple days. By 2pm that same day my previous symptoms had gotten worse, my limbs started going numb, I was having pain in my breasts and muscle spasms throughout my body. My heart rate was out of control and I kept experiencing random rushes of adrenaline. I was also dealing with moments of dissociation. I called for the third time that day begging to be seen sooner. At this point I was completely hysterical. I was crying on the phone asking to speak to a nurse. I was put on hold for almost 20 minutes only to be hung up on and left feeling abandoned and disrespected. I have never in my life experienced such neglect in a time of medical need. At this point I was desperate for relief. I called another office that had been recommended to me and I explained my situation. They immediately treated it like it was an emergency and had me come in right away. The implant was taken out within 10 minutes of me walking in the door and relief from all of my symptoms was immediate. I truly will never know who is responsible for the lack of understanding, empathy and professionalism. What I do know is I will never be returning to this office and I'll be telling everyone I know about the terrible experience that I had here in such a short amount of time. My appointment was at 6:30pm. Finally after waiting 45 minutes in the waiting room, I got up to ask the receptionist why was I still waiting. She told me the doctor was running behind. Mind you 6 other women who came after me were seen. I mean the doctors were calling them back to back. Those women hardly waited 10 minutes before being called. I don’t know if the lack/bad service was due to me being a Black woman or having HMO insurance. But what I do know is that the receptionist was rude to me when I inquired about my wait time and was low key talking about me and my Hispanic boyfriend as we sat in the lobby. I had been one of Dr. Mullins patients for 12 years - from age 14 - 26. I think she was a decent gyno while I was utilizing her for just my regular check ups. However, at age 25 my Husband and I decided that we were ready to start a family. We had had two previous miscarriages and I went in for my regular check up and testing to see if there was anything that could have been contributing to the reason why I couldn't carry past four to six weeks. I had blood testing done and had to call the clinic for my results as they never reached out. When I called to obtain my results I was on hold for 28 minutes and then told another patients blood work and not my own. I was asked to come into the clinic so they could redo the blood tests and set up an appointment with them to do so. They called later that day to let me know that my blood work was normal and that they had given me the wrong patients blood work results. One thing that they did not test for was to see if I was currently pregnant, turns out I was.I had made another apt. and went in for my first prenatal appointment with my husband, and that's when we started receiving some not so great service. The front office was adamant that I needed to change my last name to my husbands. I had explained to them that I was only 25 and still on my parents insurance for a few more months and could not change with work until the new year hit. They also had a ton of trouble contacting me because they weren't using the correct area code. They constantly called my parents - who were no longer on my chart as emergency contacts - and called my husband to let them know that my phone number had been disconnected. They had me fill out HIPAA paperwork and personal information countless times as they were not putting it into the system correctly. My husbands information ended up being my parents home address and phone number and some how I ended up in their system as a Doctor. While I love the Sound of Dr. Jessika Meinecke, I would at least like to have the paychecks that go with it. The final straw was when I did get my name changed and was on my own insurance, I got a phone call from the FO stating that I owed $715.00 at my next visit as I needed to pay my $2850.00 deductible before the baby was born. I was also 27 weeks pregnant at this point. So I was supposed to pay a total of $2850.00 prior to my son being born and only had three months to do so. Oh and if my pregnancy bills from their clinic did not exceed that amount they would gladly refund my money. I was so upset and fed up that they couldn't get any of my information correct and the fact that they couldn't treat me with respect that I left. I work as an Office Manager, I have been an FO Assistant. I have done their job for many years, it's really not that hard and it shouldn't have been so stressful. As for Dr. Mullin, if you're older and established then you're in great hands. If you're younger and just starting out, good luck because odds are she won't treat you the same as she would an older patient. I know this because the care my mother received was absolutely spectacular. Mine was sub par at best, she couldn't even remember the fact that I have had two major heart surgeries nor could she be bothered to look at my chart prior to coming into an appointment. January 9th, 2019 today I had an appointment with Dr. Mullin, I am a new patient. I get to the office approx. 1/2 hour early liked they had asked. I walk in the door, and the first thing the receptionist says to me is I tried calling your home saying Dr. Mullin was cancelling my appt. for today. When I originally made the appointment I SPECIFICALLY asked them to call my cell phone because there are days I am not home......my cell phone never received a call, a voice msg. or text. I finally made it home around 5:30 to find two msg. on my answering machine. My first thought was they had two phone numbers..........if you don't get a response from the first number call the patients cell phone......but NO. The second phone call came into my answering machine 1/2 before my scheduled appointment. But again no call on my cell phone. MY FEELINGS IS THIS, IF THE OFFICE RECEPTIONIST CAN'T FOLLOW SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS, THEN THE OFFICE MUST BE VERY POORLY STAFFED. ******I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO MAKE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT.......MY DAYS ARE BUSY AND I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR INCOMPETENCE FROM THE OFFICE STAFF. I have been a patient of Dr. Mullin for close to 20 years. She is an extremely hard working, talented and caring obgyn. Recently, Dr. Mullin went out of her way to accommodate me during my pregnancy. I had finally conceived after 2.5 years of IVF. She quickly got me into her office to confirm a viable pregnancy right at 4 weeks. Dr. Mullin scheduled weekly blood tests to check the HCG levels. Knowing this information each week calmed me. Even though my husband and I were running over an hour late to our 6 week appointment, she accommodated us. We were overjoyed to see a heartbeat. To everyone who is complaining, just don’t go to her again, you don’t need to ruin her word of mouth. She has hundreds of happy families that have gone to her for decades, let people judge on their own. Everyone is complaining about the long waits?! What doctor’s office doesn’t have one? Is she busy? Yes, but that is because has a lot of patients to care for! (that should be a good sign) Yeah sure, is she not as bubbly and fake as others? No, but she is to the point and she is very knowledgeable in her field. Trust me, you are going to want someone who knows what they are doing in that delivery room. I trust her opinion and decisions; I’ve had her for over 15 years. I can't thank Dr. Mullin enough for her helping me navigate a difficult and terrifying labor experience. Dr. Mullin was on call for my doctor when I was in labor over the weekend. I had been in labor for sixteen hours and the baby was having blood pressure issues with failure to proceed. When Dr. Mullin intervened, she was very empathic and understanding of my needs. She listened to my pain and helped calm my anxiety. Ultimately, I had an emergency c section which resulted in the baby having to transfer to a different hospital's NICU. She checked on both my baby and I to make sure that we were okay and brought me pictures of the baby from her visits as I was still recovering at the original hospital. I have going to Dr Mullin for the past 3 years. She works above and beyond with the services I needed. I got pregnant 07/2015 with my son Kal Arthur. My pregnancy was going well until my 20 week ultrasound of which I found out my son had fluid in the brain. My husband and I went to 4 specialists what we needed regards to medical notes or scripts , she was on it. We lost our son at 23 weeks. As I scheduled my follow up apt, Dr Mullin and staff was very empathetic and scheduled me before all other appts came in . I liked how private it was because it was to hard to see other women pregnant at that time. Dr Mullin said I can start trying again within a few months. As months went by to almost a year , Dr Mullin suggested us to go to a fertility specialist and referred one to us. More months went by until I called Dr Mullin in end of June 2017 stating that I had good news and had two at home pregnancy tests. She got me in to get a blood test of which I got the results the next day stating it was positive. My husband and I were thrilled. Dr Mullin had placed me on high risk pregnancy and monitored me all through the 9 months. My daughter "Kararose" was scheduled to be induced at Palos hospital on 3/2 with Dr Mullin , but she decided to come a week early on 02/25/18. During that week I was scared of clotting and Dr Mullin and staff fit me in to get an exam and blood test. I don't know why people speak negative of a doctor that enjoys her work and to see precious life everyday that walks in that door. She is worth the wait! A friend recommended Dr. Mullin for a 2nd opinion after being pushed into surgery by my doctor who told me I had cancer. As others stated, I also waited in the lobby and room for a lengthy time,. Now I'm scared to death after being told I have cancer, when she finally arrived it was evident she was frazzled, asked what the problem was, looked at the report I brought and said 'don't worry, see me in a year'. She didn't have time for questions but did have time to tell me a story about herself. Maybe 4-5 min for $235 and she didn't have time to discuss what I came there for. Shameful, just shameful for someone desperately in need of answers. A friend recommended Dr. Mullin for a 2nd opinion after being pushed into surgery by my doctor who told me I had cancer. Very disappointed!! I've been a patient of Dr. Mullin's for years. After over an hour wait every visit and a 25 minute drive I've stuck it out here due to being "comfortable" from coming to this office for so long. I scheduled an appointment over a month and a half ago (which was the soonest they could get me in) & called to let them know I found out I was pregnant as a courtesy in case they needed to do blood work at my upcoming appointment. I was told that they had me down for an annual pap (which I did not specify was needed when I scheduled), that they double booked my appointment with a new patient who is pregnant, & that I needed to come in 3 hours earlier or move the day to be seen. I was appalled as I have to work & am already taking off work early to make the appointment. I explained that I didn't HAVE to call & let them know, and what would happen if I showed up then they found out I was pregnant instead? I was then told very rudely, "Well you'd just have to wait a couple hours until we could get to you because we only had you down for a pap." WOW!! Really?!? Is that how pregnant patients are treated?? No thanks!! I'll take my next 7-8 months of an already stressful time to an office that can accommodate and help me feel at ease and that's closer to home. I will NOT be going back to Dr. Mullin's office again!! Very disappointed!! I've been a patient of Dr. Mullin's for years. My appointment was at 12:45 pm; I arrived at their office at 12:40 pm. I waited in the waiting room for 20 minutes then the nurse called me back to the room, she checked my blood pressure and asked me some health questions that she plugged into her laptop and said Dr. Mullin will be in shortly. Dr. Mullin didn't come into the examining room until about 2:00 pm, saying she had two patients ahead of me that took more time then originally thought and that all patients are not problem free like myself. She took less than 5 minutes to exam me and I waited all that time. She did thank me for being patient. This is only my second time going to her, I recall I had to wait a while the first time I went also. They need to do a better job on the way they book appointments so patients don't have to wait so long. My appointment was at 12:45 pm; I arrived at their office at 12:40 pm. Considering that childbirth is both one of the most dangerous and frightening experiences most people go through in their life, Dr. Mullin is the doctor I would want to be in the room with us every time. My wife had previously gone to an OB/GYN that focused more on "oh yay let's talk about kiddies" on not enough on our concerns about her health conditions. When she's been busy in the past we choose to talk with Margie her Nurse Practitioner, who is super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful as well. We had a scare during childbirth. Not only was Dr. Mullin able to take charge of the situation in the room, she was also calling other surgeons to help directly off of her cell WHILE running my wife down the hall to deliver her baby! She's a PRO and the one you want in the room when it's time to deliver! Took my daughter there for her first check up not only was she 45 min late but was in and out in secs and not very comforting for a young ladies first exam. Needless to say she will not be going there anymore we will be moving on to a gyne who's more personable!!! Stick to obstetrics !!!

Dr Mullin has been my doctor for nearly 25 years. Three years ago I had a Hysterectomy during a very trying time in my life. The compassion that Dr Mullin provided during that period of time and continues to provide with every office visit makes me know that I am not just a number to her. She has never rushed me or brushed off my questions or concerns. She truly treats the whole person not just the body parts. I can't thank Dr Mullin enough for everything she has done for me. Dr Mullin treats not just the body but the patient. I have been seeinh her for over 20 years and she has never rushed me or brushed off my problems. You can wait when you have an appointment but thatbis because of the time ahe takes with every patient

Great Doctor and staff. I have been coming here for 24 years. The wait time is a bit lengthy but often with what she is dealing with, emergencies can arise and I understand that.
