I recently went in for surgery and Dr Desai was my anesthesiologist. There was complications and I quit breathing. He saved my life. He was very caring and followed up with me to make sure everything was ok.
Dr Desai and Dr Hansman cooperated on a very successful hernia repair, 4 years ago. Desai came by the next day before I was D/C'd, just to say hey. I've worked in hospitals for years and never even heard of an anesthesiologist visiting post-op. Plus he sent a lovely card after which is on our mantelpiece.
Dr. Desai was my anesthesiologist during my unplanned c-section over 6 years ago. He was so warm and caring. During my surgery, I started to have spasms in my neck, which he explained to me was because of the nerve in my incision site connected to the nerve in my neck. He proceeded to massage it for me and kept me feeling calm in an otherwise very stressful situation. I don't remember much about my surgery, but I absolutely remember the superb care I received from Dr. Desai. Thank you so much!
