He was very informative on what to do and explained everything in plain english. Most of all he has given us hope that this can be fixed.

Dr. Johnson is always informative, encouraging and most important, skilled. His entire staff is warm, friendly and talented. Could not have been more satisfied with my outcomes after 2 weeks!

I had my left hip replaced in 2014, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Now I need the right one replaced, but my surgeon has since retired. I was referred to Dr. Kory Johnson and really had a great experience when I went for my consultation. I am now confident in his skills as a surgeon and feel like he cares about me as a patient- his kindness and compassion were very much appreciated!

Dr. Johnson just replaced my left hip. A year ago he revised my right hip (after a surgeon from a different organization did an unsatisfactory job). Dr. Johnson is highly rated with good reason. He is thoughtful, thorough and caring. Highly recommend.

My visit with Dr Johnson was wonderful. He took time to explain the condition of my knee as well as offer the treatment options that we can do. He was caring and attentive to my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend him.

He told me what I should expect immediately after hip surgery and the following weeks, of which his comments were very accurate and helpful in my recovery. Well since this was my first time meeting Cory I just want to say first impression was great. He took the time to explain what I need to do and what will happen for my knee surgery. My visit was perfect! I did all my previsit stuff online and when walked into the the office the nurse appeared and led me to the the X-ray room. After X-rays, I was led back to the examination room for only a couple of minute wait for the doctor. Dr Johnson went over my X-rays with me and talked about what the X-rays were telling us and what to expect in the future. He is always professional, kind, and interested in what I have to say and answers all my questions. I trust him like an old friend.

This will by second full hip replacement by Dr. Johnson. He explains issues, the procedure to correct it and all follow up appointments in a manner that’s easy to understand! His team is second to none and very confident in want they do! I would recommend his team to anyone!

I have now had 3 total joint replacements done by Dr. Johnson. One total hip and both knees. I can't say enough positive things about my experiences. I know every patient and every case are unique but I could not have achieved exceptional results 3 times without an exceptional surgeon. Additionally, the entire care team was fantastic each time. I returned to work in 3 weeks and 2 weeks respectively with the 2 total knee replacements. If you are in need of a joint replacement, I would not get it done without at least meeting with Dr. Johnson and his team. They are awesome!

Great surgeon, great staff, great outcome. I was pretty crippled up before I saw the good doctor. I can actually walk again and my pain level is considerably less than it has been in many years. I was terrified of getting a hip replacement as a senior citizen and outpatient. But everything went smoothly and I was in very good, professional hands before, during, and after my procedure. I had been misdiagnosed by the VA for six years. It took Dr. Kory about ten minutes to figure out the real problem. My words can't express my sincere gratitude and appreciation.

His technique minimizes post-op scarring and avoids staples and I went to therapy where the therapist said he had done a great surgery. Kory Johnson was recommended to me by the CEO of spectrum Health my knees were in really bad shape and I needed a trauma specialist! After surgery he got me out of my wheelchair and up and walking again …I’m 73 years old and have my life back! His bedside manner is very professional and he really does care about his patients.

Dr. Johnson had two great skills that really stand out. He is a master communicator. He listened to everything I had to say, and he answered every question I asked, no matter how small. He is patient, never rushed. And his surgical skills, as far as I can tell are unmatched. I speak from experience. He has replaced both of my hips, both to my satisfaction. I checked out other surgeons before I decided on Dr Johnson. Other surgeons warned me there would be many things I would not to be able to do sfter surgery. Not Dr Johnson. The only limitations he said I would have is no jogging and no running, and at 71 years old those are not primary interests for me. I guess I was wrong. He excels at more than two things. Check him out. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Felt comfortable right away with the knowledge and professionalism of the PA and resident. Doctor was awesome as well. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Did not rush appointment so the wait was worth it. Feel very comfortable moving forward with surgery.

Dr. Johnson was knowledgeable and concise. He cleared up a 25 year misdiagnosis, answered my questions and provided a treatment program to clear up my medical issues.

We had a terrible time finding the office with gps as it behind the bldg. going into the mercy door the person did not know where dr Joffice was. Called main office did not mention behind! Also the scheduling surgery was so far in future 3 months I have to limp and have daily pain is not good for me. Seek alternative docs with sooner dates? Will contact my family doc for advice

Long wait. Waited over an hour both appointments with no apology. I also found that the chart notes were incorrect stating it was my left knee, when it was actually my right.

Just had my 1 year check up after I had both knees replaced 2 months apart. I am amazed at how well I'm doing and the x-rays showed the replacements were perfectly aligned, identical! I was so impressed with him before the surgery and now I'm blown away! Don't hesitate, Dr. Johnson WILL help you be the best you can be! Eternally grateful to him and his staff.

Dr Johnson put me at ease straight away, he explained things where i could understand, and in a language i could understand too. He made me feel very welcome , told me my options, what he would like to do for me and after my tests n blood work comes back, what options are open for me. Told me I needed total hip replacement surgery based on an x-ray and mri report only. Could not pull up imaging. Went for a second opinion and was given a diagnostic injection. The doctor said he saw nothing to indicate hip replacement doing any good for my condition.

He is very knowledgeable in what he does. He makes you feel real important and gives you a very sufficient amount of his time at appointments.

Dr. Johnson was great, however office staff is incompetent. Twice after scheduling an appointment and arriving at that time, I was told that I would have to wait, and that my appointment was scheduled for an hour later. I was also scheduled for surgery , awaiting call from hospital for time of surgery, and when the call didn't come I called and hospital and they said that no surgery was scheduled for me. Office staff tried to blame hospital (lying) and I had to wait another week without any medication ( for pain ) before having surgery. Dr. Johnson apologized to me for his staff.

I had two total knee replacements and they came out excellent. He is the best knee doctor in the state. If you want to get your knees done right you go to Dr. Kory Johnson. I walked out of hospital on the same day of surgery speaks for how good he is. I can now get back to living my life again with healthy knees. Thank you Dr. Johnson .

I was well past needing hip replacement and very anxious for many reasons. Dr.Johnson and his team listened to me in compassionate and non-judgemental professionalism. I am so grateful for getting this challenging hip replacement over. The anesthesia team also played a huge roll in getting me comfortable in recovery. Dr. Johnson's block cocktail is allowing me to go home next day. I wish I had been able to do this much sooner, but blessed that I witnessed my sister's hip replacement with Kory and was able to have him for this. Thank you for your talent and kindness.

Excellent experience for my total knee replacement performed on 3/12/20. He explained how the procedure was going to be performed and provided me with a realistic time frame for recovery. Upon my post-op visit, he took time to answer all of my questions. I didn't feel rushed.

Excellent surgeon. “We treat the patient, not the x-ray.” Hip replacement was masterfully done with minimal invasiveness.

I had 2 Total Knee replacements with Dr. Johnson. I recommend him to anyone I know considering knee replacement. If you want the best results you have to have the best doctor!
