Both my husband and I have been seen in Dr. Walker's office over the last several years and we keep wondering why we go back. The level of care is satisfactory. But, it is the staff that is rude and condescending, especially if you don't buy the extra stuff they are trying to sell you. Dr Radell was wonderful but Dr Walter was terrible. She has no bedside manner, is not communicative, and I had to pry her for basic information about my acne. She still charged me for the full appointment fee when I was in and out in 5 min and she literally did NOTHING for me-- no advice, no treatment, nothing. I honestly walked out stunned. I will never go back now that Dr Radell has left the practice. I would advise others to look elsewhere. Dr Radell was wonderful but Dr Walter was terrible. My experience with Dr. Walker was wonderful. She was friendly, knowledgable and took her time to listen to my questions and answered them with options. I did not feel hurried at all. She was very friendly and her staff were great too! From the moment I walked in...the receptionist was friendly and made we feel welcomed! I recommended Dr. W. to my husband and my son! They both had great experiences with her too! I highly recommend Dr. Walker.

Terrible terrible customer service!

My daughter went in for a small cyst removal, and ended up with a two-inch horrible looking scar that she will bear for the rest of her life. Kristin Walker is an incompetent and negligent doctor. Avoid her at all cost.

Dr. Radell is very knowledgeable

I have been going to Dr. Walker for years and should have written this review a long time ago. I have had a number of skin issues she has addressed - squamous, basil and melanoma cancers have all been addressed at one time or another. She is continuously pleasant, informative and prompt. Time is taken as needed and rarely am I asked to return for an additional procedure because she couldn't "get to it" that day. I have referred a number of friends to her and every one of them have had nothing but great things to say about Dr. Walker. If needing a dermatologist, you can't find a more comprehensive and enjoyable experience. I have been going to Dr. Walker for years and should have written this review a long time ago. Horrible experience, She is lazy and incompetent. Avoid her like the plague.

One star is well deserved. This was the worst experience that I've ever had in my life, do yourself a favor and stay away from this office. I asked for a copy of my records and I literally received scribble on a notepad with no office name, no doctors name, nothing but a date stamp. I spoke to the office manager and simply asked for a document with at least the office letterhead and typed, I am NOT exaggerating when I say that she actually raised her voice and got extremely rude, obnoxious and combative, I was confused and disappointed that I was being treated like that. stay away from this place One star is well deserved. Dr. Walker gets a full five stars from me. For years, she and her staff have provided an immaculate, knowledgeable experience. Despite being extremely busy often, her scheduling was convenient and simply to understand. Once she does have the time sit down with you, she puts in the work and effort to provide 100 percent results. She did not overtreat, nor oversell, but provides great recommendations on taking care of your skin. Appreciate having a dermatologist like her around in Orinda. This is the worst experience I've ever had, i needed a copy of my records and I was handed scribble on a note pad with no name, no doctors name, no name of the office only a date stamp, it was extremely unprofessional. the office manager got a major attitude, combative and extremely rude when I simply asked for my treatment record on a letter head. I was extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism

I received a call this morning telling me that the results of my biopsy is back but they would not tell me the results and they said to call back this afternoon. I called all afternoon-during their hours-and no one answered!! The front desk in this office STINKS!!! This is no way to deal with patients. M.Krelstein M.D.
