Had surgery yesterday. Very nice and explained things well. Highly recommend.
I had surgery on August 18. As I was waiting in my room, Dr. came in and started talking to me about LMA. He said it was the least invasive and it would allow them to get to my air passage if something happened. I replied do what is medically necessary or required. I was trying to be relax, because I was going to have surgery. Dr. Boyce continued, You will be draped. If we need to get to your air passage, we would have move the drap and possibly contaminate surgical area. Then we would have to sterilize it before we could work on you. Dr. Kyle said that to me. Why?! I was there for surgery on my scalp. He also said you should be thankful "that you are living and alive." Then out of nowhere, he said to me that "you like to be in control." I disagreed. He is unprofessional, uncaring and cruel to talk to me like that. I do not trust him. I hope by sharing this that someone will be spared from an experience with him. He is absolutely awful!!!
