Surgical procedure met my needs, however there was one staff member who was very rude to my emergency contact. Their reason for calling was for a bill that had not been paid yet. (WHY does that qualify as an emergency?) This office also lives in the stone age and you have to pay for your bills by check only. I ended up leaving this place to have my feet taken care of elsewhere only to find out that I had MRSA. I had not been anywhere else where I could have gotten this infection since getting my procedure done here. I would highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. A really thorough podiatrist. His office and staff are very patient-friendly. It is a pleasure to go there.

Dr. Assalita was great. I went to another podiatrist in town first who actually made my foot problems worse. Dr. Assalita spent an impressive amount of time with me and had very reasonable prices. I'm running again thanks to him ... so glad a friend recommended Dr. Assalita.

Most painful foot exam I have ever had. Been to other foot doctors since then -- no one subjected me to this type of experience. This guy seemed to enjoy compressing every arthritic joint. AVOID.

I loved Dr. Assalita. He is a bit gruff, but he's knowledgeable and he listens to your concerns. He is a good doctor.

I called earlier today to pay an outdated bill that my husband forgot about. The phone call consisted of a series of questions about the bill and interest charges since the bill was two months past due. I spoke directly with the doctor about my bill and have never felt so belittled or mansplained in my life. He was rude, pushy, and nothing short of a bully. The conversation ended with him saying he had spent too long on the phone with me and if I had any further questions I should mail them directly. He insulted my husband multiple times during our conversation, talked over me before I could finish even asking a question, and left me in tears. I would cut my husband's feet off before sending him back there. Expect to be insulted, hit with re-file and interest charges ($50 worth), and mansplained if you're a woman.
