My husband had head and neck cancer at age 65 3 years ago. He never smoked or drank. Dr. Freedman was his radiologist. 3 times he wanted to quit. It was really rough. Dr. Freedman is very thorough in her evaluation. She asked lots of questions and is very compassionate. The facility, Sylvester Cancer Institute is full of BS. They are full of rules and protocols that MAKE NO SENSE. I have been in the facility several times. I had a CT scan and simulation without a mask and two people in the room. Now, I need to have a COVID test because I can’t wear a mask during radiation. Nobody in the room but me. It doesn’t make sense! If they made me do it prior to CT/simulation I would say okay. But, they are so steeped in BS with NO regard for common sense.

Dr. Freedman and her team was very professional. They made me feel very comfortable during my treatments. I would recommend her to my family and friends. Donna Preston

Dr. Freedman saved my life. Her and her staff were professional, caring and helped me through a very difficult time. They were informative and with me all the way. I'm 2 years out and healthy. Thank you.

I don't mind when doctors make mistakes, at the end of the day human error is a constant among all of us. However, how you deal with that error is what separates good doctors from criminal ones. In my father's case, he had an unexpected passing, where an unusual event occurred while receiving his radiotherapy. The machine where he was being treated flooded, & records indicate a different dosage was administered. Unfortunately, EMR records show that there were several post-mortem changes to these records. This is the medical equivalent of a hit and run, but it satisfied UM because due to this fraud & concealment it is difficult to find an expert to conclusively state an error occurred. I began seeing Dr Freedman in June 2018 with a diagnosis of tongue cancer. I found her to be extremely knowledgeable and I trusted her completely with the care she gave me. She is kind and caring and made my wife and I comfortable and relaxed at every visit. She is personable and at times has a great sense of humor. There are some doctors you would never feel comfortable enough to carry on a personal conversation but by the end of my treatments I felt like she was family. The staff in her office were a direct reflection of her and I always felt I was receiving the utmost care. I saw her today March 11, for a check up and hadn’t seen her since September. We picked up right where we left off in September. Thank you Dr Freedman for helping to treat and ultimately curing my cancer. I had a bad experience with Dr Freedman. Stage 3 Tonsil Cancer. I didn't want Chemo but I agreed to it if I would get a lower dose of radiation. She was too busy to consult until the 3rd week of treatment. Then she told me she upped the radiation dosage "out of an abundance of caution" She forgot about our conversation about chemo and refused to adjust the dosage. 1 year after treatment she felt my neck and jumped back and said she "never saw so much damage" Major complications for life

Dr Freedman is an excellent doctor in every way. The system she has in place to treat you is extremely productive. Dr. Friedman is and will be excited to help you and gets extremely excited when she sees good results. I do believe that excitement is why she chose this profession. Everything else is secondary. Dr Freedman and her team are the best team of Radiation Oncology professionals I have ever witnessed. Her entire group sincerely cares about their patients, before , during and after treatments.
